Again. One would think he'd learned his lesson, but Roch was right back at his usual slot machine, pulling the lever happily and cheering as two of the same pictures came up. "Booyah! Take that, dead monkey!"

Roch grabbed the lever, yanking it down again, thrilled at his first run. Then he watched, his right eye twitching slightly as nothing matched up. "Come on, machine! You can do better than that!" he told it encouragingly, since the yelling hadn't seemed to work last time.

Roch headed for the roulette table, feeling high from his experience with the slots. He grabbed one of the balls and tossed it onto the wheel, expecting his luck to keep up.
He was wrong. But he wasn't going to let it get to him. "Come on, ball! You can do better, right?" he said as he snatched up the ball. "Let's try it again."

Moure was back to face the game he had failed the most at.
Slots.
How someone could fail slots as badly as the patchwork had at slots, no one would ever know. But now, he was back. And he was going to win!
Determined, Moure sat at one of the seats and gripped the lever of the machine. He could do this. With that in mind, he pulled down, hoping to finally win a round of this pointless game.

The numbers on the machine spun and spun, and then finally stopped.
And they had all stopped on the same symbol.
Moure let out an excite laugh, watching as the tokens plopped out of the machine. FIVE TOKENS. That was more than he'd made last time he was over here! Moure's enthusiasm buoy'd his hopes, and the patchwork scooped out the tokens, then looked at the machine again.
This was his favorite slot machine, seriously. The patchwork pulled down on the lever again, hoping his luck wouldn't crash and burn.

Okay. It was official. This was his favorite slot machine in the building.
Moure pulled on the lever again after picking up the two coins and stashing them with his others. Perhaps it was just a good time for him right now?

The rolling stopped, and again the machine settled on two matching symbols. Again, two coins were spit out, and the Patchwork quickly grabbed them and stored them away. He was actually winning at slots for once.
This was very, very unusual.
Moure decided this would be his last round of slots, and that he would then have to go try the roulette table again. With that, the patchwork pulled on the lever again.
