'Finally Potions, I've been looking forward to this class all day.' I open the door and walk through, "Hello!"

Ravenclaw, 2nd Year
Nam chuckled at his professor's understandable disbelief as he added the beetle eyes to his second potion. "They really do have no shame, do they professor? I feel like the only place I don't see them snogging is the ravenclaw common room." He said it jokingly, but he was being dead honest.
Nam waved at LeBookworm and pointed at his spaghetti for hair. "Hi. Potions is fun. We're supposed to be doing temporary hair growing potion." He patted an empty seat next to him in case she was bold enough to sit there.

Quite...*snickers and enchants the meatballs on Nam's head to float a few inches into the air* No idea how we're going to put this right...it may not be a good idea for you to drink the actual hair growth potion, the spaghetti might just become more messy...Might even have to send you to the hospital wing for this....x.x;

Nam laughed and suggested sarcastically, "Oh come on professor, we could have a class luncheon. There would be enough for everyone to have thirds, maybe even fourths." He corked a vial of his second potion. He was sure it was perfect. "If you'll let me, I'd like to try to work out a remedy..." But he knew the answer would be no. He grabbed some forks from his potions kit and started twirling up his hair with them.

"How long does this last again proffessor?" Callysto grumbled, already hating the longer hair.

Goddess Callysto "How long does this last again proffessor?" Callysto grumbled, already hating the longer hair. Only two or three hours. If you'd like, I can put it up for you so it's not such a bother.....*twirls her wand playfully*

Now, if this had happened outside of school, I'd probably just contact St. Mungo's and tell them to be at the ready...lord knows I love experimentation as much as anyone...being a metamorphose and all...

"Such a shame... But it can't be helped." Even with that said there was a pleading sparkle in his expression. He had a feeling him and Ms. Akahana would have been great lab partners if they'd been in the same class.
"A thought just crossed my mind. Has it been pinpointed what makes the difference between a plain mixture of ingredients and a magical potion?" He packed up his things, cleaning them off, ready to depart for the hospital wing upon command, or ready to make a run for the room of requirement and experiment some more in there, he wasn't sure which.

Though since there's always at least one ingredient that has some magical properties, this leads me to believe that the magical ingredient pulls out some hidden properties of the normal ingredients. And I would like it if you went and saw the school nurse...It's probably not good for your head to remain like that much longer...^.^;
