Javier Cross Official Mary Black Javier Cross Official Mary Black Jacob Sparks Javier Cross  Mina didn't read Thalia's mind, she didn't intend to violate her at all so in order to ensure no disrespect was to be done, she didn't even use her paternal family's thought-reading via mind through magic, as now if Mina didn't feel so terrified of disappointing Thalia before(and she already did right before she thought about apologizing to her) she was already freezing on the inside-out, now. It was enough to make Mina swear a River Styx!-oath that she wasn't going to be a scumbag like Drew happened to be, violate her promises(something not even her own mother would dream of doing, in good conscience) every chance she gets(which is what would be expected of Drew, here's hoping it won't apply to everyone else among mother's children!) or break hearts without even so much as either a warning or even legitimately just causes(not even a last-ditch attempt at being cruel to be kind, either!) but she couldn't do that, outright, because then there's just cause to fear she has disgraced Thalia in doing so. Mina then mustered up her courage, grabbed her cross and then turned it into a powerful sword Mina felt reluctant to use, as Mina then asked, "If i face you in the arena, will i be able to prove my own worth and convince you that i meant you no harm back when we 1st met, i meant you no harm when i rooted for you in the last Capture the Flag match of Lady Nightshade's life, and i mean you no harm now?" as Mina meant it when she had to utter the name of Thalia's predecessor, who was one of Hermes' aunts and in turn one of Mary's Great-Aunts via Hermes' mum's side. Mina was terrified of grieving if she didn't resolve her own personal issues of fear in talking with and befriending Thalia, but she equally dreads that its gonna happen even if she attempts it, anyhow. Mina felt like her heart, where her thoughts were placed, was going to shake and shatter to millions of shards when it was bad enough her heart broke for a while, once(where she made paintings with her own tears, in fact!), when Mina tried to think to herself, 'Only the hard and strong may consider themselves Spartans...only the hard...only the strong...' as Mina feared disgracing Queen Sparta outright if she dishonors this tradition via failing to meet the most positive of Thalia's expectations. She then quickly noted in a few nano-seconds that Alex and Elizabeth were arriving, as Mina thought to herself, 'Any other time, and i'd have next to no qualms about flirting with Alex or Elizabeth, as long as i don't break any hearts, but here?The Fates are trying to warn me that something bad will happen to my heart even when i am not out to shatter or freeze that of others except to defend myself, aren't they?Why didn't i listen, what did i do wrong?' as Mina didn't want to show weakness to Thalia, lest she disgraces all her paternal ancestors put together and additionally fail to redeem her mother's generally Knight Templaristic Reputation, all at the same time. 'I feel my orientation's going to do me more harm than good, as ever, i'm sorry, everyone,' Mina thought to herself, as she was already feeling ill at ease and fearing she could enter a catatonic state and wind up taking just about everyone else with her, in the process, due to the area of effect for her mother's love + lust magic and how powerful Mina happened to be. 'I don't want to rob anyone of their free wills, either, why do i feel that at any moment i just might do that even when i really don't want to do so?' as Mina's eye-colors were altered from Sapphire Blue to Cyan, to Brown, back to Cyan from her failing efforts to try not to show weakness to Thalia and prove herself more harmful to Thalia than good, before Thalia can even accept Mina's request of the Arena, in earnest. (Yep, Mina's being a Type-B Tsundere at the moment, she's always been like that, in general, but now its more than usual!) Mike looks at Mina trying not to read her thoughts but can't help it. He frowns a bit when he does wishing he could control himself a bit better. He looks at Mina and wishes he could help her in some way. Knowing what its like to not feel like your up to someones standards....like you'll disgrace them if you do the wrong thing. 'Serina....I'm sorry I failed you...please know I will always love you. You're the only one I'll ever love.' Mike thinks to himself. A lone tear runs down his face and lands on the raven locket around his neck as he remembers that fateful day.

I'm sorry" Mary feeling upset that she hasn't been able to think about her answer just looked at Thalia with no emotion. Mary's thoughts have been going in and out of conciousness. She's been thinking about Percy... and Gaea after what she did several weeks ago. "So where else shall we continue?" Mina had to ask Thalia, suspecting she might have heard from Mike mentioning a cause of his grief somewhere, but fearing she'd be ruder than normal if she spoke to Mike about it aloud, either. She then goes to note that a few doves and sparrows brought Mike some flowers, most likely intending to bring flowers meant to be the kind that the lady whom Mike was close with would be fond of, in life. 'Please birds of mother..Senior 1st cousin Mike needs this, right about now,' as Mina felt sweeter than normal in praying for the Nyxling to find happiness by the time the year ends, and perhaps even inner peace, because already Mina thought to herself, 'Is this another case i'd reduce the people i love into, if anything horrid should happen to me?' as Mina felt inner fear and dread she wasn't sure its connected with her immortal half-siblings or not fill her heart up, as of late. (Everyone: You gotta admit though, Mina did seem rather...attractive in that moment on the outside, despite not feeling so well on the inside, right? razz )
Mary snapped out of her train of thought. Everything blurry for about five minutes but then she relized where she was. "Huh... oh yeah Thalia I'm fine. Just thinking." With a happy swing to her hips, goes to close her eyes and virtually summons out a few beautiful boxes of presents to deliver, even though it might not technically be Christmas yet, "Merry Premature Christmas, i forgot to ask, alright Thalia and Mary?" as Mina was apparently just happy to be ready to give rather than to receive, as long as she can remember to spread joy. 'Its not like i am trying to be selfish about being unselfish or anything, isn't it?Being able to give rather than to receive is fun, in fact,' Mina thought to herself, as she goes to bring in another beautiful gift to Mike, this time directly speaking as she goes to alter her eye-colors brown, for a moment or two. Mina then gently giggled, when she then said, "The next two gifts are for you, sir, one for yourself, personally, and the other being for the lady Serina, alright?" as Mina admitted she heard what Mike said, and it was pretty much left to Mike as to which gifts did Mina grant him, in fact.

'Zory....Ashely...please don't be dead, alright?' Mina prayed for their ensured survival in her thoughts, as she was already wishing for certainty from her ancestors that they will live another year. 'Ancestors, if you are watching us from either above or in other holy grounds, please guide us in best possible judgement and do not forsake us in our darkest hours to come, alright?' Mina prayed in her thoughts, already not liking the idea that she was going to fail when she joins in the operation and it becomes as big a trap as Gaea and Tartarus have plotted up, indeed. "La...i mean Thalia, care to tell us more about it, either before or after your times with Luke, if its alright?" Mina hoped it wasn't being rude to her technically maternal Junior 2nd cousin in asking the question(by Junior, its not so much age-wise between them as its meant to be in regards that Aphy's older than Thalia's father, as mum's Thalia's Great-Aunt!) as Mina felt rather awkward in having to ask it aloud.

Thalia looked at Mary who looked like she was about to fall asleep. Thalia going through random memories notices that's not Mary's normal behavior. She's always wanting to fight all the time... somethings not right. "Mary you okay?"

"Did you just say something?"

 Mike picks up the flowers, white roses with pink tips, and smiles 'Serina, wherever you are please be okay. Mother I beg of you to watch over her.' Mike thinks to himself. He then looks at the others and winces feeling the darkness of many of the memories they feel almost as if they were happening to him.

Last time I got a gift, well it wasn't really a gift at all. I had to steel it because I was getting chased by monsters and... yeah." Mary remembered two Christmas's ago when she was being chased on her way to Camp Half Blood. Very bad memories came into her head. Mary almost blacked out because of how powerful the memories were. This wasn't because of Gaea. She was sure of that.

"I fail to understand why we are even mentioning Christmas. The closest celebration to our Greek reconing is Saturnalia as celebrated by the ancient Romans. Christmas for people like us is an awful thing to celebrate." Elizabeth was watching Mina. Something about her was making her awkward right now.
"Why would you have to go and ruin a great holiday like Christmas? Just because we don't follow that religion doesn't mean we can't celebrate its good policies.... Like gift giving." Alex was peeved. Elizabeth could be so annoying.
"Actually, Saturnalia was celebrated by giving gifts as well--" Elizabeth was cut off. Rudely.
"Enough all ready!"
"Fine, continue with your ignorance for all I care." Elizabeth went off to sulk.

Mina was apparently giggling like a very loving(and possibly very lusting) person around Alex and Elizabeth when she did so in such a flirty manner, that it felt like Christmas Bells were already ringing. "To be honest, my father was raised to believe the gods have died, an a potentially ironic effort to defend the gods, that way," Mina admitted in a serious manner, before she then returned to the giggles as she then admits, "Therefore this isn't necessarily my fault i am doing this, either," as Mina goes to kiss Elizabeth's left cheek, softly, as one might think something from the past was going on if Commander Cross, Clarisse La Rue or Chris Rodriguez had to guess. Apparently it might still be chaste, but Cross especially wouldn't take the chance that it wasn't awkward at all.

"I'll show you the exact day when my father, sisters and i would normally celebrate it, though," Mina adds, as she then showed a calendar she pulled out of nowhere. "Which means we don't celebrate it in full until a couple of days after December's over, and New Year's Eve or New Year's Day comes after 7 days from that," Mina admits, as she didn't feel so much alienated as she admitted she was confused at the time when she first came to the Camp with her two full sisters, Miranda Creusa and Elissa Dido of the Alvizu triplets. "Normally speaking i'd be ticked off that you were discussing the exact month where Christmas happens(apart from July, that is, and i'm not sure if it counts!) whether it be December or January, without me, i'd be ticked off, but since both the months, the latter of which being where our summoner and i share the same birthday albeit not the exact same hour, coincidentally, are bound to arrive a couple of weeks from now, i'll make an exception," Commander Cross said, as he came right by Mina's side as he then admits, "Clarisse volunteered to wait for Chris Rodriguez of the Hermes draftees to arrive, so she requested i get here without her while she goes to alert the other cabins with some of the others," as Cross then goes to look at the others, as he even admits, "Somewhere in another plane of reality, i am quite sure that there's probably some very powerful goddess born on Christmas Day itself, regardless if its December or January, and there may even be counterparts to all of us in there as there may even be a counterpart to a Ministry of Magic, somewhere, except with more Mere Vanilla Mortals as the majority of its workers rather than multiple species, even," as Cross then goes to convey the idea with the following link he got from Lancelot Siegfried. Commander Cross responds, as he then admits, "I heard General Siegfried's going on a military war meeting with the guy, or is probably already in one, and my cousin(Mina's sister) Miranda Creusa's also in the meeting with Lance, as well, right?" as Cross was already warned by General Siegfried about how imperitive the meeting would become, for the Forces of Olympus in particular, for Lance to attend it. "This is where the meeting's taking place," Cross showed, as he goes to show an image of the location above the very Ruins of Stonehedge, themselves, a place that was also quite sacred to many people in Western Society, as well.

"We were discussing battle plans and trying to rally the other cabin-heads, Sister Piper included, together for the big war meeting to assemble upon, as apparently at least Rachel's letter got intercepted!" Mina admits to the Apollo/Apollon lad who had to ask the question.
