Lulu's body glowed and her limbs extended. Her fur rippled away from her snow white skin and turned in to obsidian-shaded waves that cascaded down her back to the floor.Her innocent green eyes looked up at Matasoga,filled with devotion. She was sitting on her knees with her tail in her lap,twitching to and fro.Her simple dress and coat were splayed out,being a bit to long for her.Her ebony ears poked out from the holes in her hat.She played with the various charms on her collar,smiling up at the pair."Hello!"She greeted the small creature then spoke to Matasoga,"Master, it is so good to see you again!"her soft voice was full of enthusiasm.

"Oh!" Leiko exclaimed as Matasoga explained the 'cat' to her. So she could shift forms for real! The girl proved it when she went back to her humanoid form.
"Your pretty!" She told the neko and flitted down so they cold look eye to eye, or in Leiko's case head to eye.

He put a shoulder to the supports of the airship and watched the girls talk, silently musing to himself. They interrupted my solitude. I'm not so sure that I was finished sulking in my private hell. With or without company, I suppose I won't be for some time to come. So I guess I don't mind this interruption.
He watched the two interact, deciding to give them a chance to let them get to know each other.

Lulu smiled at the little creature,"thank you,your adorable!"she resisted the feline urge to paw at her.She then returned her gaze to Matasoga, waiting for an order or request.

Leiko smiled and glanced back over at Matasoga. rising up to his face level she looked at him, mock serious for a moment. Then suddenly with a grin she blew a raspberry and fled from the rooftop.
Once back inside she started searching, frequently calling out,
"Kromli! Where are you?

Matasoga raised an eyebrow, watched her fly away, and wondered why she'd come up in the first place. He turned his eyes to Lulu and gave a brief, small, weary smile, before turning his back to her, again. He felt quite burdened by a great many things. He unclasped the chain at his breast and released the clasps about his shoulders that held the cape in place, allowing it to fall to the floor.
"See to that," he muttered to Lulu, with the intention that she should carefully fold the cape and keep it safe as it was a magical item of considerable power.
He stretched his wings, now, his back partially bare. The coat that he wore covered the shoulders, the sides, the lower back up to the waist, but otherwise was made with a halter back, so that his small, weak wings could move freely.
He took of his hat, as well as his mask and patch and placed the later within the former. With a few arcane mutters and gestures the paint on his face vanished, leaving the fine scales of his face as bare and blue as the scales upon his back.
He sighed and took a seat near the ledge as he tugged his cravat loose. The sun had all but finished setting and the stars had just begun to faintly appear above.
"It was much like this when you took ill, wasn't it?" he asked her. "Come and sit. We never did finish speaking."
Meanwhile, inside, Kromli was in his usual haunt, on the second floor, wishing that there were something that he could do to improve Matasoga's mood. He did not hear the tinkling of the little voice that called him from above.

Lulu nodded and quickly folded the cape,neatly placing it close to Matasoga.At his request she crawled over on her knees and sat by his side,staring at the sky,"yes Master...it was quite like this."

He sat, his legs over the edge of the building as he slid his tail around he hips, again. "As I recall we were just like this. What were we speaking of?" he asked her, quietly.

She closed her eyes and tried to remember the conversation. After a few minutes she started speaking in a hushed tone," We had just come home from the war...You asked me about my abilities,told me how valuable I was, and-" she turned a bit bit pink on the nose then shook it off,"then asked me what I thought about everything.My wants,hopes,dreams..."she quieted and waited for his response,tail swinging.

"Well, then," he said. "You still haven't told me, have you?"
He turned his eyes to her, and waited, hoping that she would distract him from his sufferings and bring some ease to his troubled mind.

She looked up at the fading light in the sky,searching for her answers in the twilight."My hopes- to be a good servant...My wants-to someday regain my memories...my dreams-i-"she faltered and became silent.

She noticed his gaze and chose her next words carefully,a light blush tinting her features,"I want to fall in love." 'I hope he didn't see through that...What am I going to do?
She looked down at her lap,examining her tail which was nervously curled around her ankle.

A small gust blew the scarf that he wore behind his back and partially around her form, which sat close beside him. He listened in silence until she was finished speaking.
He saw from her gestures that she already had... Or perhaps was at least well on her way. Perhaps it was just a crush or perhaps she hadn't realized anything but the very least that was true was that she would probably respond most favorably to an attempt to seduce her. There was more to her usual shyness behind that blush, the little quaver to her voice, and the aversion of her eyes. He'd seen it enough to know what it meant.
Matasoga would have smiled sly, brushed an rogue lock from her forehead and tucked it behind an ear, brought his face close enough for her to feel his breath on her lips (perhaps even letting his arcane glads charge it with a pleasant tingle of ambient electricity), or trace the tips of his claws up her thigh... But that was before.
He was no where near interested in more love. Perhaps later he could find solace in it, some peace and reassurance in the arms of another... But not yet. Still, he didn't want to put the issue away so far that she sought out another lover. It was best to play dumb, for now, but not to lose his allure.
His face betrayed nothing. Even without the paint, his face remained a perfect mask of neutrality. He kept his voice soft and what he hoped was alluring. "Is that so?" he asked with an inflection of sincerity. "You already are a fine servant. Possibly the best I have. I hope that your service to me is of help to you in finding everything else your heart desires."

She nodded and looked at him, the fraction of like that was left shone against his scales. She began to move her head slightly this way and that, delighting in the shimmers.'Sh-shiny!' Before she knew it the lights faded and her shiny distraction was no more."Mreeeowf" she frowned and then looked at what she was doing and turned completely red. 'I must look completely crazy'

He watched her expression, quite puzzled. Had he said something wrong? He raised an eyebrow to express his confusion and said "Have I said something wrong?"
