By the time the buckets were scrapped out and shaped, tossed to the side like they were someone's old boots, Jay walked up with a beaten up stick that looked as if she'd taken a few whacks at it with her sword at either end.

"Just use a bucket and drink from that. You don't need to find an awkward place to bite," she said, tossing her stick beside the small bucket pile. "Their own mass is going to force the blood downward like very thick water going down a hill but much slower. A slight cut here," she said pointing at the lower side of the dead dragon's neck, "will work enough since we aren't trying to drain the thing of all its blood."

She grabbed two of the smaller buckets and trekked over beside the barely alive dragon, kneeling as she placed one of the buckets near the dragon's neck. Sneaking a brief looking back at Micheal by the larger bucket, she lifted a finger up against the dragon's neck. What little movement the dragon had was now still before she went about gathering it's life's blood.

Better done and over with all this. She didn't want to spend any more time out here than she had to between the Fallen that was still flying in the air, the unnamed man and the patchwork thing that were still about, and that two dead dragons could easily attract attention. It was still eve and not a time when normal travelers would be about, but it would only be a few hours more at this pace and being so much closer to town as they were.

@Enduria and such again. c:
Ruscar grunted as the female reborn roughly grabbed and took off with him. It seemed dangerous, both being around the same size. He supposed, for once, that he was lucky to have a frail and light body. It made being carried away from danger much easier.

“Urr,” groaned the androgynous dragon. “Not particularly...unless you want to fly into the center of a war encampment.”

As lightning burst through the sky, Leverne let out a hiss of frustration and slipped to a different stance on Warden's back. He hung on to the dragon with only one hand, leaning off over the dragon's back haunch and staring at the ground below.

"Saw someone fall!" he called out, barely audible above the wind and the dragon's wingbeats, "Keep that fallen distracted. I'll check the ground for our quarry."

And with that, the fae let slip and fell. He spread his hands out to either side, eyes closed, and as he neared the trees his fall slowed until he touched the nearest stable branch with barely a rustle. He fell into a crouch and silently watched the forest below, trying to detect any sign of movement.

Enduria just kept flying forward keeping an eye out trying to flee the area as fast as she could carrying Ruscar.
"Did I say I care where it was, ignorant thing you are."
She she flew close to the trees just in case she had to toss the reborn, if
one the other Fallen consider to persue, or two the thing died in her arms.

Micheal looked at his dagger and smiled.
"I think it's about time I possibly start carrying a longer blade."
With that said he pulled a bucket near him and slammed the dagger in the area that Jay said would be a good spot and twisted till the scales were gone knowing this was dulling his blade more he slammed it in the open skin where the scales use to be. Twisting and dragging with his cut to make it deeper and longer, more blood staining his shirt he placed the bucket under the cut. Micheal watching the blood trickle and fill the bucket he didn't even wait for it to get fully filled till and raised the bucket to his lips and drank it like he hasn't in months. After that he pause with a sigh and then placed the bucket under the dragon again his wings relaxed as the feeling of the new blood circulated through his body. Between the energy draining, and now well over a decent kill for once, Micheal was becoming a fully refreshed vampire.

While Micheal fed, Jay filled the rest of the buckets at multiple spots until they could not hold any more. When she set the modified branch through the two buckets that had been specially prepared, she stood and waited until it looked as if he was finished filling his bucket... and not sneaking drinks from it anymore.

"Feeling better yet?" she asked, knowing that being on the road with her had made feeding a painful dance of dodging hunger pangs and indulging on things that would not bring hunters or guards on all their heads. "We better get going here soon if we want to make sure to get this all back and you into shadow soon."

Before Warden could object, the Fae had already jumped from his backside. It was too late to do anything about that, so he went on to do as he was told and flew on towards the Fallen that had caused the lightning.

<> he warned his bound as they approached.

The Fallen saw that he had hit his mark this time around, though there was little triumph for him as he saw another figure approaching the Reborn. Another Reborn? Though this one had Fallen characteristics. Even so, he found it odd to run into another of the sort so soon. Perhaps this forest hosted a whole lot of the beings. It didn't matter a whole lot to him. Right now as far as he was concerned, that second Reborn was helping out his quarry.

Another bolt of lightning struck out towards the pair, but his aim was skewed off to the side as something flew right up to him. With a hiss, he turned to see the dragon he had spotted earlier before confronting the Fae Reborn.

<> he growled at Warden.

<>

Coming around once more, the squire dove for the larger dragon.

<> nodded Astalder before flying on away from the knight. It was about time to head on back to the camp, now that they had some information. The bit on tainted being in the area had called his attention, seeing how they could potentially be a hazard to the group. The two went on in a roundabout way towards the camp, not wanting to head straight back to Kocerou in case the knights were still nearby.

----

When the Fae finally stopped running away, Ares sat by and watched the injured being on the ground, waiting to see if he would try to get up again. When it didn't happen, he approached it, swatting it once with his claws as a sort of test to see what would happen.

"Aww... this one isn't fun anymore," the young Fallen practically pouted while looking back towards the Mage in the distance, "You can have it back if you want."

A flash of color caught Leverne's eye. He tracked the movement, bringing the bow up and taking aim. Another reborn? It was hard to tell. Flying close to the trees, too. It wasn't the best shot, but if he hesitated much longer he wouldn't have any shot at all.

He let the arrow fly at the center of mass. Hopefully it'd hit one of them. Hopefully it wouldn't kill either.

The rush of the danger made her tingle with excitement, or was it from the lighting being so close. The burn particals in the air smelt as if it was going to rain but she knew better, she barely heard the commotion but then realize something that she was blinded from."All hell, he isn't following his shots anymore."
Gripping Ruscar tighter around his chest area, and freeing her arm from carrying his lower half of his body.

"Mind the spikes" she said in a frustraited tone to the reborn she knew she was causeing more pain than help. Folding her wings
to useing the extra weight to drop quicker she clawed a branch to slow her fall some so she could land softer. Nearly tripping over his body when she landed she spun around like she was danceing with a very heavy rag doll swinging the reborn around useing the extra umph to toss him a few feet in the trees away from her. She had to check to see what was attacking the
Fallen, it looked like knights but she pause seeing the man like figure before her with a bow. She didn't think she got hit nor was going to check, but that doesn't mean he didn't fire or hit the other reborn.
By time, flee, or be stupid.
She wanted the reborn to live so she wouldn't be the only one like she thought at first. She wanted this Rare liveing thing, and her greed was becomeing her stupidity. she waved her hand in the air like she was starting a fan dance, and the Fea could feel the connection with the ground that she has.

Ira traveled through the camp to might find where her Queen was, it wasn't much difficult. She paused showing her status of knighthood and then continued.
"May I have, presence with the Queen?"

Bullseye looked around as some of the neighboring knights just eyed him, He then stood up more proud like manner, and being a good dragon.

Risen meandered through the forest keeping close attention to where all the players were in this war. While the ranger didn't have a thread anymore Risen could trace those with her.

-----------------------------

Uritiai and Falinor zipped through the forest and didn't change back into their true forms until after they had cleared the barrier for the Prince's hide out. When they did return to normal they were out of breath and leaned on each other. Uri hated to admit it but the strange woman was so unnerving it scared the fae knight.

The guard nodded and stepped aside. The Queen was inside one of the larger tents, one that could accommodate a full-grown dragon. As Ira entered, the conversation died down to a polite whisper and the Queen nodded for the two to approach.

"Yes?" she asked, "What news do you have?"
PostPosted: Mon Jan 10, 2011 7:26 pm

Bullseye followed Ira looking at the Queen, he stood with his wings folded down. He wasn't sure what to think of her now.

With a polite bow she then rose and talked in a serious manner.
"This information may not be much, but could closer pin point the location of the prince."
Ira paused and continued.
"The dragon recalls he and his brother were protecting the Prince till he reached their Elders. Possibly to sway their kind to aid him."
"The brother dragon is most likely still with the prince if he could not succeed in taking him to the Elders, by being mostly thwarted by Leverne. Which means there are few locations where he can still go."
"Forgive me, it's not much but this is what we have for now."

@Enduria/Leverne. Just kinda there.
Ruscar let out a loud hiss, as if to warn his savior that something was wrong. He could feel it, something was going to go wrong. He did not know what, but before he could voice a concern another bolt of lightening sizzled past them. It was only a few moments later that Ruscar felt them falling back through the trees and back down to the ground.

“I have half a mind to think you are utterly mad,” snapped the androgynous creature. Vaguely, as he was spun, he was aware of a new pain searing through the silky membrane of his wings, but with the sheer amount of other cuts and scrapes, he could not bring himself to complain about the unknown injury. Even when tossed recklessly into the trees, the Reborn remained quietly accepting.

Upon falling back, he sunk carefully back into the undergrowth, blending in amongst the plants, dead and alive. He gave himself a quick once over. Upon spotting an arrow protruding from a wing, he tore it out without any regard to his physical condition. Once the arrow was tossed away, the Reborn tensed in its hiding spot. He kept his eyes trained on what was going on in front of him, waiting to jump in if need be.
