(( He's waiting for our next bit of down-time. I suppose we could just go on without Strider, so Ryan can at least introduce his character...but that might not be so nice. Anyways, I'm kinda anxious to see what Dragon's got planned for her new vampire. It's a refreshing changeup from zombie-killin'. Strider, post again soon!))

Russ was going to lob the vampire's head off when he noticed Ellie had sensed the vampire. Russ had sensed it just as she had. He stopped when she said not to kill it. "Well now that most of us are here hows about we go supply hunting?"

"Go ahead. Take Daniel with you when you go, he seems to be itching to stretch his legs. I'll take this one," he indicated the vampire girl, "back to the train with Ellie. I've got work at the switchyard to do. Everyone got a radio?" When he was satisfied that everyone was prepared, Tyler helped Ellie steady the vampire girl on her feet. "Sorry, but you'll have to wait and feed on someone else when we get back to the train. I've lost a lot of blood in the past couple days, due to one injury or another." He released the hammer on his revolver, and walked with the girl back to the train, taking note of the track patterns around the station. It looked like he would be able to attach a new car or two, easily. Something caught his eye as he walked. He didn't think twice about it right then, as he had no time. Once the vampire girl was safely bedded down, he walked back out to the switchyard, and looked to the sky. I hadn't imagined it, after all, he thought as he stared up at a tethered, bright red hot air balloon. He singaled Russ's group, and waited for a response.

"Hybrid here. What's up Tyler?" Russ had taken Daniel to a nearby convient store. Daniel was packing up bags with instant foods. They had even found a working microvae and couple of generators. Someone had stayed here for survival.
Gravemind snapped out of his trance. "I'm sorry it appears we're getting close to something much more powerful then myself and it knows we're coming." Gravemind hopped into the car.

When Tyler heard what they were planning to bring with them, he discouraged trying to carry generators. "The engine room has a set of secondary generators to power stuff like that. All we need is a few power inverters wired into the cars. Anyway, I think there's a human survivor near you. Look for a red balloon. I bet he's staying in the basket at night to avoid unwanted zombie contact."
