Crouching in the corner of the room, it came as more than a shock when the doctor who had just been eying him like a predator coming in for an easy meal simply collapsed to the ground. Tsuzuki obviously hadn't knocked him out, the man was speaking quite clearly and moving with ease, barely stunned. Now, the psychopath merely lay there, motionless. Cautiously, the shinigami stood and began to advance on the fallen form. "Saki..." he called out, trying to sound threatening, but the fear that laced his voice made him sound more pitiful than anything else.

For a long while, there was no response from Muraki. Then, the man stirred. With a soft groan, the doctor pushed himself up to his knees, one hand holding his aching head, the other keeping him steady and from collapsing again. "Asato... I think... something's wrong..." It was Kazutaka, not Saki, who addressed the shinigami. Grey eyes focused on the other man, eyes that were filled with pain... and worry. "I can't stay here..." the doctor pushed himself to his feet, turning and immediately finishing getting dressed. "I'll kill you if I stay here..." Well, it was the truth. Saki was certainly ready to flay the shinigami... even if his little brother was fighting back, it seemed...

Prayers to every god and higher power in existence rushed through Tsuzuki's mind as Muraki stirred and began to move. When he heard the way the doctor said the name Asato, though, he knew he was back in the presence of the one he loved, not the crazed murderer that possessed him. But being told that Kazu would leave him...well, regardless of whatever danger it would put Tsuzuki in, the shinigami would much rather chance it than abandon, or be abandoned by, the doctor. Rushing to his lovers side, Tsuzuki wrapped his arms around Muraki, clinging to him as if love alone would protect the both of them from anything that may come their way. "Kazu...please! I can't let you go, not now! There has to be something we can do...some way!" he sobbed, desperate to hold on to what he had found.

Muraki froze, arms pinned to his sides by the clinging hug of the shinigami. "Asato... I can't stay..." the doctor replied, his voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know how to get rid of my brother... if I'd known, I would have done so a long time ago, don't you think?" Sighing, the silver haired man closed his eyes. He didn't like making Tsuzuki cry... but what choice did he have. Saki planned to kill the shinigami and then take the body for himself. And what then? Kazutaka knew that his brother wouldn't let him go... and living out his life as Saki's play-thing really didn't sit well at all with the doctor. "If you tell me what to do, Asato... I'll do anything... but right now, you're in danger. If he manages to overpower me again..." Muraki left the rest of that sentence unsaid, mainly because the outcome was obvious. Of course, right now, Saki seemed to be quite dormant. But that wasn't about to last forever. Sighing, Kazutaka turned in Tsuzuki's arms and locked his gaze with that of the amethyst-eyed shinigami. "I should be locked away for the crimes Saki has committed. I'm too dangerous, Asato... He's too dangerous..."

"Danger danger danger!" Tsuzuki cried out like a scolded child. "What about you? Why should you suffer more than you already have for your brother's sins?! I can't bear to accept that! If I thought he would leave you and everyone else alone, I'd let him have my body in a heartbeat! Anything...anything at all for you. This isn't fair! Doushite? Doushite, Kazu?!" Shaking and clinging to Muraki was about all the shinigami could bring himself to do right now. If only he had help. If only he were smart. If only he knew of something, anything at all, to try. If only, if only, if only. It was the story if the shinigami's life.

Wincing slightly, Kazutaka realized that Tsuzuki wasn't going to give him up so easily... "Well..." the doctor sighing, unsure of what he was saying. "What about sealing him or... or exorcising him?" It was an innocent enough question... "It's just that I think Saki's the one with the supernatural knowledge. I'm a physician... not a priest, after all." Muraki really had no idea what to do. Tsuzuki seemed determined to not let him go, and if the shinigami couldn't do that... Then Asato would be in true danger.

"Sealing...exorcising?" Tsuzuki paused, his expression becoming thoughtful as the tears that were falling began to slow, then stop. "That's...very possible." the shinigami stated as if the thought had never occurred to him. "I...just worry that I might hurt you if I try...or even kill you on accident. I've never done a sealing or exorcism of this type before. On someone...living...you know. I'm afraid."

"What other choice is there?" Kazutaka asked, his voice soft. "I don't know how to stop Saki, aside from giving myself mood suppressing drugs to try and stifle him. But that's not guaranteed either, Asato..." The doctor was confused. His brother was going to return... and there was nothing he could do to stop it.

"Then...I'll try it." Tsuzuki gulped, walking to where his coat lay sprawled over a chair. Hesitantly, he pulled out a few ofuda scrolls before turning around and looking at the doctor. "I can give this a shot...but...if something happens to you, what should I do?"

Muraki suddenly had second thoughts about this... "Maybe we should try this at a shrine? At least somewhere that power could be, you know... amplified. I'd rather not take the chance and find out that Saki wasn't destroyed..." The doctor picked up his own coat, fully intending to follow Tsuzuki. "If something happens... I don't know. If you manage to exorcise or seal Saki, then everything's fine, right? If... something happens to me... just... look just make sure Saki doesn't use my body to try and kill you again. Got it?"

"I'm not going to let you die, Kazu. I simply refuse to accept that as a possibility. This is going to work out....somehow." Tsuzuki didn't sound sure at all about that statement...but even if it meant tearing through all of Meifu to pull Muraki's soul back from the other side, well, Tsuzuki would do it. Hopefully he wouldn't have to, but he would if it came down to it. Getting rid of Saki was the most important thing right now. "I promise you, Kazu...no matter what, we will get through this. Together." Tsuzuki took Muraki by the hand and smiled, squeezing the doctor's hand reassuringly. "So...to a shrine, then?"

Kazutaka nodded slightly, "To a shrine." he agreed with a slight smile. "You know... no pressure but, I'm trusting you with this, Asato. I... I don't understand the supernatural. I mean, I know I must somewhere in my mind... some portion that Saki has hidden away but... you're going to have to tell me what to do, where to stand, everything." In other words, his life was literally in Tsuzuki's hands.

Tsuzuki really wasn't used to having so much responsibility. He could do this. He knew he could. He simply didn't have the self-confidence to believe it would work. Fact was...he had to man-up and make this work. His lover's life was in danger, and if this went too terribly wrong, so was his, and Hisoka's, and everybody else's that Saki could get ahold of. "I understand, Kazu. Just...trust me." Shuffling through the ofuda, Tsuzuki pulled one out. "I'm going to place this temporary ward on you. It should keep Saki at bay until I can perform the exorcism." Tsuzuki carefully stuck the scroll on Muraki's back, taking the man's white coat and helping him into it. "Now, let's get this over with." Taking both of Muraki's hands in his own, he smiled before adding, "Hold your breath.", as he teleported the two of them right out of the hotel and into the oldest shrine in the city.

Micheal shrugged. "I can't change what I am any more than who I am." He mock saluted Watari. "Yes sir! I'll let the answering machine screen your phonecalls." He didn't say that he wouldn't listen to the messages only said that he wouldn't answer the phone. After all, he couldn't be 100% perfectly well behaved, that would be well. . .boring. He absently toyed with the feather that he'd plucked from one of Otori's wings.

At first, Muraki wasn't sure about the ward's power actually working. But then he felt it... like some sort of force slamming into his forehead from within. It was, no doubt, Saki, retaliating against suddenly being suppressed. "Let's hurry then..." the doctor replied with a very small smile. "Because Saki didn't like that one bit, Asato." Carefully, the silver-haired man took the shinigami's outstretched hands. He closed his eyes, holding his breath... and suddenly felt as if his body was being pulled apart. But then his shoes hit cobblestone and Muraki opened his eyes again, looking around in slight amazement. They were at a shrine, though which one, the doctor didn't know. "Will it work here?" he asked, eyes focused on the torii not far away.

Of course, Watari knew the demon would probably listen to any messages. But that really didn't bother him too much. "Otori-san," the scientist spoke up, looking to the angel. "If what you said turns out to be that you are looking for the same man I think you are... then I'm going to need the help of you both. I'm going to track down a friend of mine... maybe he'll know what's going on." Especially, since Watari felt that Tsuzuki was avoiding him. That alone made things far more dangerous in the scientist's mind. With a wave goodbye, the blond shinigami disappeared... and appeared, not in Meifu, but in his own Kyoto district. But, not only was he in Kyoto... but the genkii man was actually on the opposite end of the VERY same shrine, which Tsuzuki and Muraki had appeared at...
