David stared at the woman, trying to figure out if she was indeed sane. She was going to train him in sand manipulation by strapping bags of it to his limbs? "I could run ten miles in these without even breaking a sweat." He deadpanned, swinging his arm around to prove his point. "You could add a dozen of these and there would be no change to that. You obviously have not thought this through." It may have been a slight exaggeration, but it was true that these weights were like nothing to him. If anything, they made movement easier! "So could we skip the formalities and just move to where you tell me how to do whatever it is you want done?"

( Being that the Ichibi host has the ability to control sand like part of his own body, yeah, it's not that hard. Plus, you didn't mention how much it weighed. If you wanted to hold me down, try lead. )

Nodding his head, David turned and walked out the door without waiting to see if the woman was coming. If she did, fine, if not, maybe he could find someone else to teach him. Reached down on the way out he scooped up a handful of sand, and began to play with it. By twirling his fingers around as he walked, he made a few small balls of sand that danced among each other, floating above his hand. See if he could manipulate sand indeed. Did this woman even know what she was doing?

David turned around in the door when she started talking again. 'Genjutsu? What happened to the taijutsu?' He wondered, raising an eyebrow. Well, she was finally explaining what she wanted done, so it was fine with him. Letting the sand he was playing with fall to the ground he pondered the instructions for a moment. It sounded simple enough, project a mental image of a clone. "Wait... Isn't this the same as the basic clone?" He asked, not really understanding the point of having more than one intangible clone.

( Learned what? The taijutsu? )

"The basic clone is an illusion..." David muttered, but went ahead with the technique regardless. 'She said it was like the earth clone, and something about channeling chakra into the earth...' He thought, focusing himself. Letting his chakra flow through his feet into the ground, he pooled it around him for a moment, before smiling. 'Let's make this fun.' He thought, lifting his right hand before him, palm down. He had never seen the formation of an earth clone, but going by the instructions he could piece together enough to guess at it, and add his own twist.

As he raised his hand, the ground before him appeared to buckle, a small mound rising as if pulled along by an invisible string. As the mound rose and grew taller it began to take on human form, holes forming in the top to create eyes and a mouth, the bottom and sides split into limbs. And finally, there stood before him a perfect copy, complete with a slightly bored expression.

"How was that?" David inquired, making the clone walk across the room and back, showing that it could move the same way as him.

David nodded and released his clone, the illusion melting back into the earth once more. He wasn't sure he liked the idea of cheating on the number of techniques, but this academy was becoming cumbersome. "Double vision? It'd be faster and easier to stick something to the guy's nose." The boy laughed out, pulling a makibishi out of his pocket and holding it up as an example. "It'd do damage too." He grinned, flipping it in his hand. "But you probably don't care about that." He sighed, resigning himself to learning another jutsu he'd never use.

Channeling the necessary chakra, he focused his thoughts on splitting the woman's vision, making her see the doubles she desired. To him, nothing seemed to happen as a result. He was sure he had done it right, but he couldn't see a thing happening. "Erm, can you see it?" He questioned her. Maybe genjutsu that he couldn't see himself weren't his thing.

(I'd rather not meta-learn the taijutsu.)

She nodded as she started to see double,then broke out of the genjutsu. "You are not suppose to see the genjutsu, if you could that would be fatal." She said "One of the last jutsu you you will learn is not a genjutsu, seeing as i can't think of another genjutsu that i can teach you that won't end badly on my part. So the last jutsu will be a ninjutsu and it;s called Henge No Jutsu or the transformation technique, even though it's self-explanatory i will still explain it to you.This technique gives you the ability to transform into anything hence the name. But obviously you can only transform into things that are you size, like a wolf or a bear. so i will show you how to do it,then i want you to try it."She said then did the hand signs"Henge No Jutsu"then slowly she turned into a snow white leopard,then reverted back"Now you try"She said
