Lanius raised an eyebrow, silently watching and analyzing Seth. He decided to go on ahead and be blunt, no need for dancing around the subject matter. "The fact you immediately asked me of my current position, as well as what you said afterwards.... Commanding armies, winning wars... If I remember correctly, you are Seth Usher. Exactly what are you getting at, my kind sir?" His voice was not rude or anything of the sort, just flat, monotone, stating the facts as he saw them. Lanius could tell what Seth wanted, it was rather obvious to him... still, it would be nice to discuss the details. He knew what he wanted, but the details were what interested him.

Seth grinned and got up from the stone. "Quick to the point, I like that. I've been working on reviving the House Usher. Getting us back to our former status...minus the crazy lugaru fanaticism. We're small right now, weak. But, I have a plan. A plan that would establish our dominance in the world. And I want you to work with us. He made sure to use the word With instead of For. From what he could see, Lanius wasn't one to settle for a 'worker' position. "I'm willing to offer you Head of War. Giving you full control of our forces and letting you spearhead our conflicts. The War Room would be yours to utilize and I only ask you don't disturb the decor there. What do you say?"

Stepping forward, he offered his hand to shake. "I'll gladly accept your offer." Lanius didn't smile, but there again, when he smiles while making a deal or agreement... that is usually a bad thing. Lanius' origional plan had died away, because things had not gone as well as he had thought. The factor that he was undead contributed to why he had not been moving in on different opprotunities that has passed him by. However, this one seemed the most promising. No matter who he would be working with, as long as he had resources, even just crumbs, he could do his job and do it well.

Seth shook it firmly and smiled. "Great. Mansion is out in the Mainlands, I'm sure you can find it. I need to go settle a bit of business and I'll meet you back there. We have many things to discuss." Without a word more, he gave Lanius one last nod and started off to the RCS building.

As soon as Seth left, Lanius turned away, and grinned. Perfect. Folding one hand behind his back, he walked with his cane, leaving the gardens. This is... exactly what I was waiting for.

Deztin returned to the gardens after his time away and walked over to the roses Deztin sat down next to the roses and sighed."So many people that old run down house was the worst idea of a place to rest you know i like this place i haven't seen to many people here and the fragrance is marvelous i wonder if i could just rest here."

Glory and Okaro arrived in the gardens. "I wasn't going to bring us to Basil, sorry. It is too far away, and I don't like cities..." Glory smiled and got off her horse, looking around.

Destiny stepped slowly into the gardens, gazing around as she did. She knew she had been here before but she was nicer then. Not that she wasn't unbelievably nice now. She liked to think that just by letting people be in her presence she was being nice. Destiny shook her head and laughed, then proceeded to sit down. Gosh, she wanted that steak. Why had Jewel gone and eaten it all?

Okaro stepped down off the horse, noticing Destiny. "Ugh, not you! You're so... I mean... You even yelled at the child!" He snarled, turning foxish as he spoke. You are horrid, and I am going to take care of you right now!

Glory jumped into her fox form too, she liked it the best. She jumped in front of him, her back to Destiny. "No fighting!!! Especially not with her. She isn't woth it, she isn't worth the dirt on your shoe. Ick, if she is that bad with a kid she isn't worth it."

Destiny raised her eyebrows. "Oh really?" She stood up, her eyebrows still raised. "You act like I'm not here. Try again, dumba**." She decided not to do much, because she hated insults, she wanted to make it painfully slow. She kicked Glory as hard as she good in the side, with the heel of her boot. How hard could it be to take down a couple foxes?

Don't you touch her!!! He ran and jumped over glory, who now lay hurting and bruised on the ground, trying to get up. He snarled and bit Destiny, right by the neck, but missed getting her shoulder.

Glory got back up in time to see him attack. No!!! she cried, and ran toward them, but her side hurt. She collapsed back down on the ground, wincing in pain. She couldn't help him, so she called to the horse who hovered over her. She transformed to human, and stood, holding the reigns to pull herself up. She dragged herself into the saddle, and tried to get the horse to move to get Okaro. The horse chose the worse time not to listen...

"Don't touch me!" Destiny hissed at him. It would actually be easier then she thought to kill him, kick him down, knife in the heart. That is, if he wouldn't of moved right when she did it. She ended up getting his stomach. "Ew!" She backed up and went back for it, this time actually getting his heart, several times. "That worked." She laughed and ran off before Glory could come get her.

Glory began to cry, but she knew he was dead. She couldn't stand the sight, so she dashed to the house again, she couldn't ever go into her fox form again without thinking of that... She had just met him...
