What am I doing? He started moving towards her, leaning forward to come eye level. "I'm uh... I'm sorry for this." he whispered. Without being able to stop himself, he leaned for just a bit more, and kissed her.

For a moment.. she almost prefered to think the fear still held her motionless, instead of pure shock. She resisted, pushing against his chest distractedly.. before her eyes slid closed. The kiss was gentle and he was warm, it didnt seem to matter that he had taken advantage of her fright.. she even parted her lips slightly for him, still dazed.

He took advantage of her parted lips, fully embraced their kiss. His arms came up to rest on her hips, as he started to lose himself.

His hands kicked her into reacting.. Her teeth sank into his lower lip as she tensed, shivering slightly against his hold.

He had barely got the words out before her fist clipped his jaw, the strength of her own punch knocking her off balance and sending her crashing into him.. knocking them both to the ground and earning a small squeak of indignate fury from her. While he was simply sitting down she was astride his lap, one hand fisted in his shirt as she glared at him.. unaware of both the intimate position, and the fact that she was holding his gaze without flinching. " I've never heard of a perve appologizing to his victem before, damn skirt chasing p***k.. Dont .." she paused, blushed as she floundered for a word other than 'kiss'. ".. do that again, or I will shoot you."

When they had fallen, his instant reaction was to reach out for her, to make her landing easier. His right arm, had wrapped her waist. "First off, you aren't a victim. Secondly you kissed me back." He just shook his head. "Again, I said I'm sorry, now would you mind letting go of my shirt and getting up, or would you prefer I kiss you again, cause this is about the most romantic position for it."

" You wouldnt Dare." Eyes narrowing she refused to budge, ignoring the fact that he was right. He had issued a challenge to her, even if he didnt know it.. she moved when she was damned well ready to do so. lifting her chin she added grudgingly, loathing to admit her curiosity. " And, i only kissed you back because it was a instinctive reaction. i could have just as easily shot you."

"Then shoot me." He wasn't afraid of being shot, not like it would do a whole lot than hurt a bit. He pulled her just a little bit tighter, kissing her again.

The son of a... Her irritation wavered, eyes closing. She would shoot him.. after this. Sliping her arms over his shoulders hesitantly she kissed him back.

His pull on her slackened a bit, giving her a little more room to move, as he leaned back a bit so his shoulders were against the wall behind him. He depend the kiss, as he let both his arms envelope her.

His kiss held her still better than his arms ever could, Dani sighing softly against his lips as she savored his warmth. She never expected to trust someone so eas- her gaze snapped open as she jerked herself away, droping her coat over his head as she prowled to the front of the alley. She could Not trust him, or let him close. keeping her back to him she leaned her side against the wall, arms folding neatly.. more to keep her hands still than to ward off the crisp air. He was charming her, wooing her for information.. there was no other reason he would touch her like that. Even as she thought it a chill ran down her spine, the hair on the nape of her neck standing on end as she whispered in a stunned voice. " you were touching me, looking at me.. I didnt panic." It was.. cruel. someone she could be almost normal with.. and he was likely a enemy.

He pulled her jacket off of his face, and folded it nicely for her, and slipped a card with his address for the Mainlands RCS in her pocket. "Maybe its because you can trust me? Or feel comfortable around me?" He moved towards the alley's entrance way. "Look Dani, I like you, and I want to see you again soon. But I have to go and file my report about tonight. I won't mention anything about you in it for your protection." He handed her her jacket.

Calmly she accepted it, holding it to her middle as she nodded faintly. " Do as you must.." she didnt know.. if she could trust him. But, being the fool she was, she wanted to protect him. Right now, the only thing that could do so was knowledge. " I left my notes taped under the head board in my bedroom. It has names, crimes, actions, and jobs of those causeing all of this." her hand caught his wrist, her face still tilted away as she ordered quietly. " Be careful."
