"That was public display of respect. Behind the scenes you don't anything. Be happy I don't just chain you up and lock you in a tower with rats." He increased his pace. He was not going to get any better because he again was at odds with Dusk and if learned anything in the past five hours or so, she was going to disappear like before. He was furious. 'Calm down or you'll make her do something stupid and then you really do have to get her.' His conscience told him.

Dusk stopped, and watched him walk away. "Fine..." She muttered. "See ya then." Shadows swallowed her, and once again Dusk was missing. Only this time, she didn't go to the Devil's Nest. She went someplace that no one other than she knew about.
Her mother's grave.

Kyoshi entered the through an unmarked door and went down the winding steps into an underground place. This was where the underground fight clubs were. He took his kimono off and held back a thin man who looked scared as hell. Kyoshi went in an punched the guy Left Right Left Right He was a manic and for good reason. After what seemed like hours he left unnoticed and went into the streets again just walking around with nothing particular to do. This was his routine with or without Dusk around. This was his life and his solitude his only friend and his nightmares his other friend that he doesn't like.

Dusk collapsed on the hill next to the marker. She pulled out the weeds that were beginning to surround the marker. "Damn it, Mom...I think I'm going insane..." She began to talk about the things that had happened to her. "And.. I don't know how to handle him without showing what I am!" She sighed and leaned against the tree next to her mother's grave, looking out over the city.

As he got home, he directed the guys to move the couch in. He ran the poor innocents off with his monsterous snarl. He moved the couch where the last one was and layed on it. He took his kimono and wipped the blood from his face. And layed back on the comfortable sofa. He closed his eyes. 'God this was so stupid!' He was kicking himself for his behavior, yet again. 'Maybe there's a class on social interactions 101.'

((He needs to find one...that's for sure...hehe))
Dusk felt sleep tug at her as she leaned against the tree. "Mom... What should I do?" She muttered before falling into a troubled sleep.

(He would but....nevermind)
Kyoshi slept dreamless. It was odd how in the middle of the day, he was dreamless and in the night that was when they came out to play. It was just messed up. He moved on the comfortable couch and then sat up. Dusk wasn't back yet. Rolling his eyes, he got up and went out to look for her. Even though what Zaine had wrote in that letter pissed him off he still promised his because Zaine had done some favors, as big as this, for him in the past. He took the key out to Devil's Nest and opened it. Nothing. Damn. He locked it up and went into the shadows of the buildings to look for her. He was going to spread his wings but he didn't want any attention. 'Where are you?' He thought.

Dusk woke up to the sound of something in the grass. She feigned sleep, but was on perfect alert. Someone stepped behind her and she smelt human man. Great... She was grabbed and se opened her eyes. The guy from the shop was there. Dusk glared at him. "Dude, let go." He grinned like the lech he was.
"Where's your little body guard?" He started to feel her up, but Dusk didn't do anything yet.
"If you don't stop, you're gonna regret it." He ignored her and put his hand inside of her shirt. "Ok, you're dead." She was calm though. She reached into her pocket and grabbed her knife, putting it up to his throat. "Let me go, or I murder you."
The man's eyes were wide, but he pulled out a gun. Oh come on! Dusk glared and spun out of his hold kicking him in the groin and grabbing the gun. "You shouldn't play with this, it's not a toy. She shot his knee, and put her boot on his face, setting the gun beside her mother's grave. "Tell me, why shouldn't I kill you?"
He started babbling about his kids and that just ticked her off. "You've got kids? And you attack me? Try to rape me? Nice dude. Nice lie." Taking out her other knife, Dusk slashed the man across the chest, the blood turning purple when it came into contact with the poison. He screamed and tried to stand up. "you're gonna die in three....two...o-" The man dropped dead, not breathing or moving. Dusk turned to her mother's grave.
"And this is what I deal with all the time..." Kicking the man away from her mother's grave, she sat back down against the tree, annoyed now.

Cathrine smiled, "Thank you Fenix," she said, she looked down at her clothes, "Time to get a job," she muttered.

Kyoshi walked and walked and found himself face-to-face with a "ghost" from his long forgotten past. "What do you want?" He said flatly. "I saw you in the undergrounds earlier. I was very impressed you still fight like that." She smiled her seductive smile and inched closer. "Have you considered my offer?" Kyoshi shook his head. "You didn't give me a name of the target. I can't do anything without that piece of information. You should know how the transaction works." Crossing his arms over his chest he glared at her. She came closer and placed a pale hand on his crossed arm. "You will know soon enough." She walked over to him and kissed his cheek, silently walking away. Kyoshi stood frozen in place. A chill went down his spine as to who this said person was he had to kill and he had a feeling he wasn't going to like.

Mist could hear the two speaking. "Do what I do! My job's easy!" He called out to them. Mist didn't get off of the roof though. It was too pretty to leave.
Dusk sighed as she wondered what she would do. "Mother...I don't know what I'm supposed to do." She brushed her fingers across the stone marker. Elliana Mashehna. She was the kindest and smartest person Dusk had ever known. Even when she was thrown out of her clan, her mother would sneak out food for her to find. "Mother...help me again...please..."

Kyoshi used his excellent powers of a Seraph to locate Dusk. He walked up behind Dusk silently, with his Kiseru sticking out between his sensuous lips and with a scowl on his usually serious features. His eyes were still orange and he stopped when Dusk was speaking. He turned away and looked at the dead body of the store manager. He shook his head. He could have stopped him from causing any harm. He didn't say anything until Dusk was finished with paying her respects.

Dusk smiled as she smelt the smoke. "Hey Ol-..." She sighed, knowing that her mother wouldn't be please. "Hey, Kyoshi." She looked over at the man rotting. "Oops...yeah..sorry about that..." Dusk rubbed the back of her head. "I gave him a warning...but...heh heh..." Dusk was trying to sound like her normal self, but she was just too tired.
