(Ack, wow did I miss a lot sweatdrop )) Aly opens her eyes, then blinks and looks around in shock at all the destruction around her. Ok, so maybe her dodging abilities sucked.... horribly in fact. Then again, she'd never been dodging chairs and tables as some lunatics fought. What had even hit her? Aly looks around, slowly, though, since her head was killing her and spots a chair nearby that looked broken, as if it had hit somebody, most likely her judging from the pain in her right shoulder. Hearing someone nearby, Aly slowly pulls herself up into a sitting possition, then pulls herself up and holds onto a table edge as she tries to sense if her wings were broken or anything. Luckily, it seemed her shoulder had been the only thing hit. "Wasn't really a food fight, they were throwing whole tables and chairs more then food." Aly says, laughing rather weakly. "Does that happen often here?"

Hikaru, hearing someone respond to her comment, skated on over to where the girl was standing. Offering a hand, she helped her to stand the rest of the way up.
"Who the heck would start a fight in a dining hall?" she asked, huffing in slight irritation. "That's, like, ten kinds of messed up right there."
Rolling backward and toward one of the unharmed lunch tables slowly, Hiko grabbed the girl's hand and helped her into a sitting position at the table, plopping down next to her.
"Here, hang on..." she said, taking off her backpack and rummaging around in it briefly. "It's not much, but it's all I've got on me."
Taking out a package of bandages and some gauze, she offered it to the girl.

Aly sits down and nods. "Thanks." Aly says and smiles at the girl, though it was maybe marginally smaller then her usual, ear to ear smiles she'd throw at people. Aly sets the gauze on the table, then starts trying to figure out how to bandage her right shoulder without moving it much. She hadn't really hurt her shoulder before, so she was a bit lost. As usual, though, she was too stubborn, or maybe just too shy, to ask for help. "My name's Aly by the way, what's yours?" She asks, trying to distract herself from focusing on the pain in her shoulder. Aly winces slightly, then pauses. Wait, did the gauze go on before or after bandaging something? Aly frowns in confusion and stops her hack job of wrapping, then starts undoing it.

Hikaru watched the girl trying to bandage her own wound, and then reached for the bandages and gauze as she began unwrapping them after the first failed attempt.
"Here, you're at kind of a weird angle to be doing that yourself," she said, smiling. "I'll help you out with that." Taking the gauze, she wrapped it a few times around Aly's wound, making sure not to tie it too tightly, and then wrapped the bandage around the outside of that.
"There!" she said, admiring her handiwork. "That should at least stop it from bleeding too badly until you can get it looked at." Smiling, she stretched out a hand and introduced herself cheerfully. "Nice to meet you, Aly! My name's Hikaru, but just call me Hiko, okay?"

Aly bites her lip as the other girl bandages the wound then nods in thanks and shakes the girl's hand. "Ok Hiko. Thanks for helping me by the way... as to who those people were that totally trashed the place... I've no clue. I'm kinda new here." She then pauses to think. "It was two guys though, throwing each other all over the place. There was also a girl and two other guys... the girl fired off a gun a few times and screamed at them and... then thats about as much as I remember." She says, frowning slightly. "Is it always this chaotic here?"

Hikaru frowned at the description of the fight. Up until this point, she had no idea how violent the school could get. I mean, people starting fights in the lunchroom, of all places? She was honestly amazed that Aly hadn't been hurt any worse than this.
"Actually, this is the first I've heard of something like this going on, too..." Hiko admitted with a somewhat uncomfortable looking shrug of the shoulders. "I always thought fighting each other was what the training halls on campus were for, y'know?"
She laughed a little at this, looking around the room again and surveying the destruction. It was lucky that this happened when not too many people were around, or someone really could've gotten hurt.

"Apparently those two didn't hear that." Aly replies, a half smile briefly tugging at her lips, though her eyes looked troubled. Now that the shock had warn off a bit she was rather, well certainly not happy. For one thing, she hated guns almost as much as small places. If it hadn't been for idiots with guns, she'd still have a family. Somebody really could have been shot if that girl had been too trigger happy. Aly shakes her head and sighs slightly. "Guess we were just lucky nobody got hurt too badly...."

Hikaru nodded, noticing Aly's uneasiness. She really didn't have much she could do about that, but she hated to see people looking uncomfortable, so she decided to go with the old standby. Digging around in her backpack again, she fished out a few candy bars, setting them on the table in front of her.
"Yeah, looks like nobody was hurt too badly," she said, offering one of the chocolate bars to Aly. "Here... you want some candy?"
She seemed completely oblivious to the fact that this situation was basically comparable to trying to get a three year old who had just been in a car wreck to calm down by offering him a lollipop. All the same, Hiko gave her best 'cheer up' smile as she held out the chocolate for Aly to take.

Charlie walked inside the dining hall, his hands shoved in his pockets as usual. His greenish-hazel eyes looked around the room for a place to sit. When he found an empty booth, he grinned, walking over. He slid in the seat of the booth and sat there, looking around to see if he knew anyone there. But he didn't know many people, so he was also there to see anyone else.

His left eye twitched furiously as the machine did nothing. He completely ignored the background behind him, or the other students that passed by him. The machine had several dents in the bottom, and a few near its top. The machine irked him to no end. He gave his order one more time, and still nothing. On his final nerve, his right arm began to blaze with blue flames and he reared back to punch it, when he began to think again. Wait... that's just what this machine wants. It knows that if I destroy it, I will never recieve my food. Its mechanical spirit shall haunt me forever with an empty stomach. b*****d... You shall not defeat me! He stood back and pointed at the machine, his right arm losing its fire until it reached the tip of finger and went out. He stared at the machine, hoping that he would win and the machine would give him his food. Sadly, his efforts were futile since he missed the key to knowing how to properly operate the machine.

Aly hesitantly takes the candy bar, then tears away the top of the wrapper and stares at it for a moment before taking a small nibble. For a few seconds she stares at nothing, seeming almost determined to be traumatized over this, then she blinks and shakes her head. Aly takes another bite and swallows then glances up at Hiko and smiles, her eyes seeming to refocus on the present. "Well it's all over now, so there's no real point in being upset is there?"

Hikaru tilted her head to the side as Aly took her first bite of the chocolate bar. As her eyes glazed over, she briefly contemplated waving her hands in front of Aly's eyes to see if she was really okay, but just then she seemed to snap back to reality. Upon seeing Aly smile, Hiko smiled back, letting out a small sigh of relief.
"Right! And plus, there are plenty of students around with healing powers. I bet you can get that fixed up in no time!" She tried to keep her tone as cheerful as possible, pumping her fist energetically to underscore her words of reassurance.

Joy stalked into the dining hall, wearing a black pleated mini skirt and a simple black T-shirt. The five year old was in quite a good mood because her mother had let her wear black. Celestial was off in the training hall and Joy had gotten bored watching her.
The little girl's waist length hair was left down, some of it covering her right eye, her left one shining sapphire in the light of the hall. Her shoes were simple black loafers with knee high socks, all in all, the young child looked like a really short teen.
Joy removed some money from her pocket and drifted over to a vending machine. She inserted the coins and pressed a button, her soda making a clunk as it fell. Joy barely had to bend down to remove her drink, the only reason she had gotten this flavor was because it was the lowest button, the only one she could reach.
After uncapping it, the young girl was about to turn and walk out of the hall when she noticed someone struggling with a dented vending machine. One of her black eyebrows raised as she inspected the person. In a bored tone of voice, one much too intelligent to belong to a regular little girl, she addressed the man. "You're supposed to give it money then push a button."
Joy then went over to stand beside the man, examining the beat up machine. "You shouldn't dent it, the principal might make you pay for it." The five year old opened her pop, took a sip and turned to leave the hall.

Charlie looked up to the ceiling and sighed, slumping in his seat at the booth and tapping his middle finger on the table, seeming to be in deep thought. His, messy, dusty-light brown hair moved out of his eyes. He sighed, looking around again. He wondered where Kylie and Rayna were. 'Most likely at the courtyard or the dorm.' he thought to himself, chuckling quietly. It was most likely true- the courtyard or Rayna's dorm was where Kylie and Rayna hung out the most. Right now, considering the weather, Charlie concluded that they were probably in the courtyard. He sighed once more, looking back up to the ceiling.

Aly laughs at Hiko's energetic fist pumping, or more the fact that she could probably even rival Aly's own hyperactive nature and nods in agreement. "Yea, I keep forgetting that kids at this place are different then your normal students." Aly then pauses and glances around the still rather destroyed room and smiles again. "Though I don't think I'll be making that mistake again any time soon."
