It's good to see that I'm not the only one who magically pops in and out of these parts.
As for not being in the loop: I am, my character isn't. My excuse for not being here for 3 months was that she randomly bailed on Las Noches and just wandered around HM doing random s**t... so she has no real idea what's going on. She just randomly bumped into Xeion when I came back on, and then ended up bumping into him again later and is now in the position of just watching that fight... She really doesn't know exactly why there's Shinigami here in the first place. xD
