Rhea smiled and nods to his mother and watches her run off then he turns his head to look at his partner. "You can walk...but I always have...energy for you." he said gentle and licked her face. He started to walk off though allowed her to slide off his back if he wanted.

He smiled, "It will just be us...up there....alone..." he said slightly suggestively.

Kanis nodded. That was true Rhea would be with her sister. She didn't look up at Corrah as he was praising her. It pained her that he thought so highly of her when she always seemed to mess things up. She could not defend her siblings from his words either. He spoke the truth.

"T...Thank you sir...I..it means allot. She wanted to sleep but her leg hurt too bad. She wondered where Corrah was going to take her and who would get her things. It was not like she had much....just her dragon and blanket.

"I will try to not let you down again sir..." she said softly her knuckles were white against his black robe.

Aras giggled and leaned her forehead against Rhea's. "And we don't have to worry about training for today anymore, either," she grinned, knowing exactly what he was getting at. "Just Armus is going to bring us dinner later. And I guess we'll be continuing our training tomorrow maybe ... probably just us and Ruran."

Ick. She really wasn't fond of her brother at all.

At long last they reached the area where Armus and Corrah had been staying for the past several days, and Corrah carried Kanis to where several large blankets were laying messily on the ground in the shelter beneath an outcrop of rock.

"Lay still," he told her softly, "it will only hurt if you move."

He adjusted the blankets to fit to her body so that she would be as comfortable as possible, making sure her head and broken leg were especially padded.

Rhea smiled, "Maybe....we can claim the field in light?" He asked softly and got them to the cliff. "Shall we start to climb? I want you safe my love..." he said again softly. And nuzzled her crotch.

And with his head his still on her pelvis he smiled, "Mother is not looking for him...he might not come back tomorrow."

Kanis felt the cushion of the warm blankets the mess only made her feel warm and safe. She nods, "Yes sir." she watched him adjusting the blankets to her.

She looked down and watched his hands, almost fansinated by them. They were so very beautiful. He was so kind with her. "T..thank you sir." She tried not to move. She was still very pale and the blanket she lay in she smelled warmly of him. "What will you and..." She looked around and saw Armus things too. "Armus sleep with?"

Aras blushed, but she giggled and put one hand on Rhea's head.

"If he doesn't, I guess that's okay," she murmured. "He's such a pain anyways ... I mean, I had to defend him because he's my brother, but still ... I think me and Kanis can learn a lot more without him always making Corrah angry."

She turned towards the cliff and reached for some hand holds. "Come on," she encouraged Rhea, "let's go!"

Corrah was never still, busily tidying things up and making the area a little less messy.

"Do not worry about us," he told her quietly, "we are used to sleeping with only the stars as our blanket. Your safety is my first priority."

He reached into one bag and took out a small vial of a white powder and set it aside, then picked up a smoothly carved wooden cup and poured some water into it from his hip flask. He added a touch of the powder, then returned the powder to his bag and turned back to Kanis, holding the cup out to her, careful not to spill it.

"Drink this," he told her softly. "It will help dull the pain."

Kanis watched him. She did not know why he was cleaninig. It was almost like he was a bit embarassed but she knew that was not his nature. She watched him walk the pain lost by the way he moved she watching him get the drink ready and she dighed and sat up more to get the cup she winced and cried out have moved her leg and almost spilled the cup onto herself. "Ahhh..." she bit her lip and looked down. Before taking a few quick breaths and then reached up to get the glass again.

Corrah reached out to put one hand behind Kanis's back and help her sit up, still holding the cup out to her.

"You won't taste a thing," he murmured softly. "It just tastes like water. A bit stale perhaps, but that's more likely from being in my flask for a few hours ... go on, drink up ..."

He helped her hold the cup as she drank, his icy blue eyes watching carefully to make sure that she didn't spill or choke on it.

Kanis was confused by how soft and gentle Corrah could be so she drank and did not complain at all. She was thankful for his kindness. At least he didn't seem to want to send her back to her mother. She drank it all down glad that she had know deep down inside he was a very good guy.

"Thank you sir..." she said softly to him. She wondered if it would just dull the pain or if it would make her sleepy.

Corrah took the empty cup back from Kanis and set it to one side, then gently lowered her back to the blanket and sat next to her.

"Now, Kanis," he murmured, "I would like you to tell me exactly what happened ... just as it happened. In a few minutes the drug will begin to work and then I can work some more on your leg ... if you would like, I can also give you a sleeping draught, the drug that I gave you will not make you sleepy."

Kanis smiled feeling safe and cared about as he sat down next to her. She had always known he was a good man.

"What ever will be eaiser for you sir...will be fine by me." she did not know what else she would feel and she hoped that she was not dirtying his and Armus' bedding.

She looked down her left eye was now completely swollen shut and it seemed that her cheek bone might be fractured under the dark black bruise. "Well Ruran would throw a punch and I would block. I was getting to where i could...um...block all of his punches. Then we started to move. The punches were getting a bit hard so I would move back so it would be easier. But there was a rock and I don't think either of us....saw it...cause I looked down once I hit it and I was distracted trying to move my foot over it instead of watching Ruran's punches..."

Man she really was a horrible student. And very weak. She bit her lip for a minute then continued, "He must have thought I would move back like always for he moved his food forward and accidentally stepped on my foot as he threw his punch. I saw his arm moving to late to block the punch and because his foot was on mine I lost my balance and fell back..."

Corrah listened carefully to what Kanis told him, and when she finished he nodded grimly.

"I see," he murmured softly, reaching for his bag and rummaging through it once again. "Yes ... I should not be surprised."

He sighed and shook his head again. "I was a fool to let your brother work with you without my supervision," he muttered angrily to himself. "I should not have trusted him. I knew him better than that ... I thought that he ..."

He ground his teeth together and stopped talking. It would do no good to beat himself up over it. He had credited Ruran with being better than he actually was ... a mistake he would never make again.

Kanis watched Corrah rummage threw his bag and listened to his words. She felt even worse not to see that she caused their master such trouble. She reach out to softly touch his elbow and shook her head. "It is not your fault sir...it is all for a reason..." she then looked down at her hand on him and though it seemed to pain her to talk bad about her family she did, "He is very good at deceiving...and sir..maybe you thought that if you showed you trusted him it would work where beating things into his head did not...If I was not so....weak of body I am sure this would not have happened. I am sorry I did not come to you stronger sir."
PostPosted: Sat Sep 27, 2008 12:34 pm

"You are not weak, Kanis," Corrah told her sharply, "and you must not think like that. Your brother is a monster, nothing more. There exists not a single shred of decency inside that boy, and it will be his ruin, and if he is not careful the ruin of others as well!"

Then he calmed down and cupped her cheek with one hand.

"Do not mistake me, Kanis," he told her, quieter now, "I know that you are not as strong as you have the potential to be - but for what little training I have given you so far, you have done very well, and I could not be more proud of you. When you have healed we will work very hard together to make sure that you can reach your full potential."

He finally found what he was looking for and pulled out a small jar with a thick, pale cream inside of it.

At Corrah's sharp tone she took her hand from his elbow. Maybe she had take too much insinuative. She listened to his words of her brother and she could not arque them.

As his scared hand cupped her small cheek, she felt the bond for her master solidify. She would do anything he told her and anything for him. She would not disappoint him she knew she could not.

"Thank you for your confidence sir. I will heal quickly then sir."
PostPosted: Sat Sep 27, 2008 12:54 pm

Corrah smiled, his eyes growing soft and tender, and he stroked her cheek gently with his thumb before removing his hand entirely and focusing on the jar of cream.

"And I will work with you while you heal," he told her softly as he opened the jar.

Carefully, as gently as he could, he began to apply the cream to the bruised swelling on Kanis's face. It would help the swelling to go down, and the bruise to heal - and once the drug took full effect, he would use the same cream on her leg.

He didn't dare speak to her at the moment. Right then she was reminding him too much of Armus, when he had first found her and taken care of her, nursing her back to health ... the same fear, the same perceived weakness ... and yet the same determination and courage.

Kanis could not help herself as she leaned into his rubbing thumb. She did not complain as he took his hand away and moved to the jar. She was not yet as physical as her sister or brother was and she was more ashamed when she thought of her body. Even Armus must have had some breasts when she was her age. But Kanis was almost as flat as a boy.

She winced a bit at first as the cream was applied to the bruised cheek. She looked up into the icy blue eyes, seeing something she could not place in them. Her own eyes held fear and worry but complete trust and the need to please him.

"Thank you Corrah..." she said shutting her eyes to just concentrate on his hand. She knew this would be the only time he would be this gentle with her and she wanted to enjoy it. She could hardly feel the pain any more. "I know you will train me well...and I will do what ever I have to do make you prove...and to show you I was worth the time...and effort.
