"Lift off, eh?" He said, walking up on deck about then, raising an eyebrow down to Boom-Boom. Indeed, the little wolfpup-clank bore an unusual name, didn't it?

"A'ight. Though, y'know, I coul' be of some service t'ye," he said, giving a mischeivous grin... But until it was inquired into he'd leave it at that, as the other, more humanoid clanks began to show him about the places he was allowed to look at.

((Good gods above, I have writer's block. Please pardon the stupidity in my following posts D: ))

Abigail crossed her arms over her chest and leaned against the door frame. She had officially lost count of people on this ship. Watching as a clank led the new fellow off and along, her skull was positively throbbing with various complaints. The eyes were tired and her body concurred, her stomach whined its hunger and the mind was simply done for the day. Her mother's words rang in the back of her mind, reminding her that only dolts lingered in doorways. Pushing gently off the frame, Abigail figured that she'd better find something to occupy herself with.

Daniel notices the Doctors flustered look. He felt like a fool again. "I'm sorry Dr. Tennant, I went and spoiled you conversation." Daniel face saddened, "Please forgive my intrusion. I realize it may be foolhardy letting just anyone join our crew. but i cant help it. most of them don't have a place to stay."

Abigail looked tiredly up at the good captain, feeling incredibly childish.

"Oh pish-posh you ruined nothing. I wouldn't have known what to say to him; I would have been terribly useless. You'll have to pardon me at the moment, captain. A morning of dislocated shoulders and bloody women does not a well-rested lady make." She smiled a little. "And while normally I would call bright-eyed optimism foolish, you seem to have been a good judge of character thus far. And if you have stumbled in grace, you've at least got Mr. Vidal cleaning up the worst of the lot."

Looking relieved Daniel replies, "Eli was the only one who stayed on from the original crew. I value his experience and am grateful for his service. Please go and rest if you'd like, or perhaps you should grab a bite to eat. I am able to get by with only a small amount of sleep but i forget my friends are not like me" He jerks his thumb in the direction of the wings attached to his back, a puff of steam escaping his shirt sleeve as he does so.

"From what i know i saw her sneak in through the hangar with a clank carrying a box, now this box isnt accounted for as cargo which cna mean one thing, black market goods my friend u understand how much trouble we will get in if the guild calls an inspection right?"

he had deduced it all in his head much earlier and was actually waiting for eli to approach him about this

Elliot laughed. He had expected that Nysth would have surmised this much.

"Don't you worry about the guild. The source of the goods may be black market, but the goods themselves are kosher, I assure you. The inspections won't be able to tell the difference. On this ship, each member of the crew has it as their own duty to get all supplies they need for their position, and so long as the ship remains well stocked it is usually not best to ask questions. Of course, the white market is preferable, but on a ship like this, in times like these, it is usually best to ask few questions. And, lastly, we look out for each other, so consider how much trouble you'll be in with the crew if you rat one of them in? Seriously, don;t worry; its just the way it is."

Wouldn't be long before the young man had seen his fill... The little clank puppy came running back around, then, and leapt onto the top of the captain's head, giving his hat a bit of a mussing-up... This lead Albrecht himself into view, picking up the little machine and then dusting off the captain's hat.

"Sorry 'bou' tha'. He get's a lil' exciteable sometimes."

Daniel chuckled. "No problem sir." Taking back his hat he places on hes head again. Looking down at the frisky clank puppy, he sees the clockwork teapot nose to spout with the dog. with a toot, the teapot hops, spins a circle and raises its hind legs tipping the pot forward in a strange mimicry of a puppy playing.

(ps the clank teapot is the one on my avi)

Sasha smiled as she showed talon what she need to do. "this is the the output. it pretty much is a limiter on what i can do up front. it limits my throttle and such and it also greatly controls our fuel consumption" she sighed and indicated the pressure gauges, altimeter and other important gauges. "though this helmet" she indicated the headphones in the and a small microphone. "this is a one way mic to me. we can communicate this way because when we are going at even half speed the wind howl will make normal talking impossible" she sighed and pulled in very close "it took me a long time to get enough money to buy these" she then ran through the basics and smiled "we will be able to do this real quickly" she smiled
Talon sat at the controls and looked them over her thoughts racing. "I think I can do this." She turned and looked at you. "But, I wont know until I try. Do you know how soon I could take a shot at it. " She looked back at the controls memorizing the controls and gauges by hart. "How fast can this thing go?" She said taking the head set and putting it on."

Sasha hopping into the front seat began to start the machine up. she smiled and spoke into her head set "how does over 200 knots sound. but that is with maximum throttle, and output. and that also if either of us doesn't red out"

smiling the craft roared to life "alright i am gonna take her slow out till we are in open air then take the output to max and we can give her a real test flight."

with that she adjusted the throttle and the craft began to hover. sasha hopped out and gave it a little push then immediately hopped on and clambered over to her cockpit. the craft began to slowly inch to the edge of the hanger hovering just a few inches over the floor. "Alright now punch that output to max" she said constantly adjusting the throttle to keep the craft moving and afloat "i need more output so we can fly.

A short, dark haired girl was walking up the dockside street, pushing a large dolly holding a very large wooden crate and a single, smaller steamer trunk. The crate sides expanded beyond the width of the cart, making it occasionally hard to maneuver through the crowd. Emelia kept her head bowed, only occasionally looking up through her goggles to vouch her location.

Pausing at a corner, she pulled out a map and a small piece of paper. She took a pencil from behind her ear and crossed something off on the paper. "Okay. Maybe the sixteenth time is the charm. Oh, I really don't think I can wait another two weeks..." She muttered to herself for another moment as she compared the list to the map. "Khaos. Owner: Montoya. Let's see what you're up to this morning...afternoon? Whatever."

Myles has stepped out to examine the conditions for flight, just in case he may be called upon to fly for some reason, when he notices the messenger bird. He approaches it to investigate.

"So what chance is there of you fellows takin' off before I've managed to get a chance to get off-deck...?" He asked. He had a fairly roundabout way of speaking, didn't he? "I k'n be a good lad, o'course," he added, giving a grin. "And I DO have services, as I mentioned, I k'n be renderin' for you lugs, too, if you'd like a demonstration... Though I think the pup sort o' speaks fer itself..." He nodded.

Whuff, whuff! It reared back at the steam, but then it tackled the teapot down.

he let out a small laugh half expecting to be reemed for his actions, and to tell the truth many of his own goods were illegal so it didnt bother him in the slightest, he pated eli's shoulder with a bright smile on his face

"Good, then i'll keep all this in mind sir, im no rat i've spent my time locked up and dont want to go back is all there are certain....types that i dont seem to be able to mesh with is all, oh and i've been meaning to ask your opinion now that she's all built whatcha think of this ol' girl now?"

he threw his arms out towards the gun proud og his achievement

Elliot smiled.

"Glad to have that all properly cleared up and settled, and as for your gun, it is a fine specimin." The look of the visible half of Eli's face attested that he was entirely earnest in his praise. "I would love to see it in action, other than the inherant risk in action of course. But still, it is a fine weapon, and an elegant working as I recall from earlier."
