He pouted a little.
"You can't blame us for wanting to though...Considering how few we are and how fewer our women are...We're finally able to gain more girls but it'll be hard for them to find mates...I've never heard of a female's mate being converted..."

He gave her a small smile and hugged her close, burying his face into her neck and breathing her in. "I don't want to ever loose you, Ziyala."
None of our males do....he thought quietly.

"And you're not going to," she said firmly. "And the same goes for our boys. I didn't spend all this time training them to lose them to the dark side. The odds don't matter. They're finding their lifemates...even if I have to hunt them down myself."
