Personality: Derek is very outgoing, and very athletic. He used to be arrogant and conceited, however his friends deflated his head a bit. He is very intelligent, but he doesn't try. His social life is much more important than school work. His personality changes around certain people. When he's around teachers he is very nice and polite, shy and reserved; however when he's around his friends he goofs off constantly and is always the center of attention.
