"My daughters have joined th rebellion, and I want to see it crushed. I'll help you destroy it in any way possible." Shina said. She glanced at the woman the elf was fighting with. I wonder what she did? Shina though. It didn't seem like the woman was an enemy, she guessed the mayor would be doing much worse things to the woman if she was her enemy.

Not getting an answer from the man who had shot the gun off, Cole decided not to bother with it anymore.
He thought he had heard a bit of commotion from somewhere nearby. He couldn't decide if he wanted to get involved or not.
It had been a while since had seen any action first hand. Well, a while being a day or so. But that was quite a bit for a city like Sarit.
He turned away from the corner and continued walking down the streets.
'If I run into something, I'll get involved I guess. If not....just another boring day for Cole.'

Kairina didn't respond to the lady right away. She could tell this was a demon, with two daughters in the rebllion. This must be the mother of those two annoying demon girls who tried to attack me she thought with disgust. Kairina really didn't want to be talking with this women. Maybe she can help me in some way... the mayor thought. "Very well, do what ever you must to destroy those rebels. Just remember that I'm mayor here." Kairina said turning back to face Aki. "Now, I'm very sorry, but I have a lier I have to deal with." she said once again tightening her grip on Aki.

"Why'd I lie? The same reason I would if someone was trying to figure out if you were the mayor so they could kill you. He's a friend; I've known him almost as long as you. I don't want to see him hurt." Aki snapped, pulling against Kairina's grip.

"Ray, we might want to go. And I don't know when, or if, Aki'll be able to come to us." Miri said softly, coming up to him.

"Well. I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Zen, and as you have seen, I'm a shapeshifter. But you've probably never seen me because I've stayed hidden for so long. But may I ask, who are you?" he said. He still kept his distance from her. But he was beginning to trust her a little more. It seemed that she was friendly. Zen had spent so much time alone, that he had forgotton he could trust others. Unfourtunantly, Zen trusted a little too easily.

Shina stayed put an watched the fued in between the mayor and Aki. It would be entertaining to see this woman torn between her two friends.

Ray had almost completely forgotten that Miri was still wandering around. He'd assumed she'd taken cover, since he hadn't heard from her in a while. He watched Aki and Kairina arguing for a moment, then nodded and said "You're right, it might be a good time to withdraw for now. We have to take a guerilla tactic approach to this whole thing. It seems I've strayed from that, it was a poor choice on my part." He decided he would finish the statement through thought. I want you to keep an eye, or thought, on Terra and Aiva. It seems a relation of theirs, their mother, has entered the game. She's going against the rebellion because her daughters are part of it. Both, for some reason, listen to her faithfully, more so then they ever would us. If they do something suspicious, anything at all, don't get mixed up with them, just tell me, and stay away. Don't get the mindset of 'if' they'll betray us. It's definitely more like 'when'. Sorry to be putting so much responsibility on your shoulders, could you also ask the others to disperse as well? Just tell them to hide or go home, we won't be meeting quite yet. Same goes for you, keep away from us for now, you aren't suspected of anything, I want to keep it that way. Thanks Miri. He turned and walked away. He laughed and spoke quietly to himself as he walked. "Three members seem like they're going to betray us, and we now have a new threat. I need to re-equip myself, since I've lost my pistol, and most of my sword. I also need to learn some magic. I know a nice 'section' of the library for that, as for the weapons, I think I may go for something a little different then a normal sword and gun. Yeah... that sounds good. I got the connections for that. Maybe a beam-saber or something. My bud could do that... Ah, nothing more refreshing then a new batch of 'tools'."

Amnity felt a presence enter the park. Not just any presence, but her presence. She stopped the fire from her machine gun, her eyes narrowing dangerously. F*** Laviatar....It still isn't safe! No....She couldn't risk her bieng here, even now that she can see. Holstering her UM-16 MG, she felt the adrenaline course through her veins again. She had a choice, and it was difficult. There were multiple people she had to protect right now. Setting her priorities straight, she saw that defending her friends were much more important then just firing a few armor piercing rounds at government officials.

The soldier raced through the park, locating Laviatar quicker then she would of even if she set off her locater. "LAVIATAR!" Amnity exclaimed as she finally got to her. She quickly checked if anyone followed her, her red eyes darting back and forth. Her friend may not even recognize her, she was wearing a red mask over her nose and mouth and her attire was completely different. She tipped her maroon beret a bit, casting a shadow over her eyes so no one else could recognize her. "Laviatar...It still isn't safe here. Head back to the apartment. I'll meet you back there, alright?" The last thing she wanted right now is for her to get hurt....Or even worse..."Go. Now!"

Kairina stared at Aki, her eyes full of hurt. She slowly began to loosen her grip on the girl and finally let her arms fall limply to her sides. " So you've been betraying me for as long as you have known me." she muttered quietly, but loud enough of Aki to hear. The mayor swiftly turned her back to her once friend and closed her eyes. " Well, go ahead and go back to your rebel friend, because you seem to be able to tell him of your friendship and not me." she said not caring to look at Aki as she talked. Kairina felt Shina's eyes still on the two, but ignored the women's presence.

Terra and Aiva flew back to their apartment, not saying a word. There apartment consisted of one large roomed that had the kitchen and the living room, a large closet, a bathroom, and a large bedroom. “We need to start packing.” Aiva said when they reached it. She went into the bedroom, and Terra followed her. “I thought we were staying with the rebellion.” Terra said quietly, not making any movement to pack. “We are for now, but you and I both know we’re going to end up leaving Sarit with her, so we might as well get packing out of the way.” Aiva said. Terra hesitated before she got down the suitcases from the closet. While they packed Aiva thought about their predicament. She wanted to be able to leave before her mother hurt anyone. Maybe I can talk to her, and make some sort of deal. Aiva thought. The two twins continued to pack in silence, wondering how they going to deal with there mother.

Shina shook her head. She thought any type of emotional attachment was worthless. “You’re lucky the mayor seems to be too hurt by your betrayal to do anything. If you would’ve betrayed me you’d be dead by now.” She said to Aki. I’d never get caught betraying someone; especially someone that has taken a liking to me. It was very easy to deceive people when they loved you or they thought of as a close friend. They always seemed to want to ignore anything you do that’s suspicious because of their feeling towards you.

Aki completly ignored the woman. "Kairina, I haven't. I've told him nothing. I didn't know he was part of it until today, please..." she watched Kairina sadly. She had hoped it wouldn't happen like this.

"Don't worry, I won't. Three, Aki? I don't know... But I wouldn't go looking for her any time soon, or talk to her unless she comes to you. She's choosing, but it won't take much to sway her to either side." Miri replied.

"Aki, I don't think I can trust you right now. Why should I anyway?" Kairina still had her back to Aki, she didn't feel like looking at her right now. The mayor was tyring to keep herself together even though she really just wanted to break down. "You know what, I have enough to worry about Aki. I really can't worry about you betraying me right now." With that said, Kairina began to walk forward. She didn't know where she was going but away from everyone else was good enough for her. Plus, she knew this city. It wouldn't be hard for her to find her way back home even if she did get lost.

Aki watched her leave, only leaving once she couldn't see the mayor anymore. She slipped down an alley, almost wish someone would come across her and give her a reason to lash out.

As Kairina walked she noticed that her hood and fallen down. She pulled it back over her head so it covered her face once more. The mayor swiftly walked down the streets wanting to get back to her room so she could be in private and peace. Her arm was really starting to hurt her now, so she tore a piece of her sleeve off and wrapped it firmly around her wound. That will have to do for now. Her black cloak was soaked with blood in random spots and was torn all over. The mayor just kept walking with confindence. After a while she finally reached her room which was located in the city's capital. On her way up there she got many wierd looks from people who didn't know who she was or what happened to her.
