"I gotta agree, if there's one thing worse than Dr. Pepper, it's a cheap knock-off that can't even get that god-awful taste right." Zander said sympathetically. "Yeah, I'll have to check those buttons next time I go to the lunchroom, but right now we'd better try to find Wedge's friend. If he stays here any longer, we might have to roll him down the hallway." He motioned towards Wedge, who was absolutely still except for his thumbs on his DS. One would guess that was the only part of him still alive if it weren't for the occasional shouts of something such as "Indignation! Yeah!" "No, no, you completely overshot him!" "Haha! Can't use Tractor Beam on me while I'm holding THAT item!" "No! Quick, de-petrify Klaus!" "No, not- CRAP! I didn't tell you to use Phoenix Strike! I've really gotta fix my button setup after this battle.", not even noticing over any of this that Zander had walked up next to him. "HEY, WEDGE! YOU IN THERE?!" he shouted, Wedge immediately turning to him. "No need to shout, Zander, I'm right here!" he said, pausing the game to rub his sore ear. "You got any clue where Biggs might be?" Zander asked. "Probably our dorm, he said he was going to iron his shirts for tomorrow." Wedge answered, prompting Zander to wonder 'Who the HELL irons shirts anymore?'

Violet shrugged as Zander asked his question, then added "Rod from 'Avenue Q' irons his underwear, but shirts, I don't know... unless they're dress shirts... those things are hard as hell to keep wrinkles out of." she said, remembering a certain blue silk shirt she'd had before the incident at her old school, and how hard it'd been to take care of. In fact, she had been wearing it and a pair of boys' slacks (which didn't happen that often, but she was in a weird mood that morning) the day of the incident, which had caused the confrontation with the cheerleaders, which, in turn, had caused her to lose her temper... She guessed that the shirt was now under the care of the Groom Lake facility, which probably meant that they were doing god knows how many experiments on the shirt to try to learn things about its escaped owner. The image of Axi with the device strapped to her head came back to Violet as if to punish her for thinking about that place, but she struggled to keep control of her emotions, breathing deeply and putting one hand on her forehead, rubbing her temples in an effort to keep calm.

"Hey, Violet, you okay?" Zander asked with a slight look of concern.

Violet breathed deeply one last time, and took her hand from her forehead. "Yeah, I'll be fine, it's just that I remembered part of this nightmare I had this morning, and I almost lost control of my emotions. The last time that happened... well, let's just say it wasn't pretty..." she said. "But I'm fine now." she said, smiling at Zander, thanking him silently for his concern.

"WHY DOES THE BATTERY ALWAYS DIE RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A BOSS BATTLE?!" Wedge suddenly shouted in anger, stowing his DS and getting up. "Well, I guess we might as well try to get to my dorm room, let's mosey." "Let's mosey?! Man, that was lame." Zander muttered under his breath as he followed after Wedge in disgust. 'This kid is a Grade A pain-in-the-a**, but you can't help feeling sorry for him.' he thought to himself.

Violet "moseyed" after Wedge and Zander, feeling kind of sad about Wedge's batteries, so while she followed them, she delved into the astral plane and brought a bit of dark matter back with her, molding it with her hands until she had formed a rectangular shape the size of a DS battery. She continued to follow the other two, planning on giving the astral energy battery to Wedge after they'd reached his dorm room.

Alright, guys, it's kinda a long story, but I gotta take a hiatus for a while. Feel free to control any of my characters you might need to until I return. Sorry, but things are a little chaotic for me outside the box.

K, I'm gonna control Wedge, Biggs and Zander until I'm done roleplaying at Wedge and Biggs' dorm.
Wedge walked to the dorm that he and Biggs shared, knocking on the door. "Biggs, you in there?" he asked, not really wanting to open the door until he was sure that Biggs was decent due to Violet's presence. "Yeah, what is it?" Biggs asked, answering the door in a crisply-ironed sweatshirt. "I've been looking for you. They cornered me, took my DS after you left, but Zander here scared 'em off for me." Wedge said, thumbing toward Zander. "Hey, thanks for looking out for my friend." Biggs said, giving Zander a 50's-style double-point, complete with a smile so wide, you could almost see his teeth twinkle. "Heh... it was no prob, man, I was just looking out for people, since Munchkin-man obviously doesn't care if this school blows up or falls straight into the fires of Hell, as long as his office is intact." Zander said. "Yeah, the headmaster's a real jerk." Wedge agreed. Just then, the bell rang, and Zander said, "Hey, man, nice talking to you and all, but I gotta get to class." He then sped off down the hall, pushing his way through the students that were amassing in the corridor. "Yeah, me too... don't want to miss Chem." Biggs said, closing the dorm door behind him as he went off. "Hey, Wedge." Violet said, tugging on his shirt sleeve. "Before you go, take this. It's pure astral energy, has about 5 times the charge of normal electricity." she said, handing him the astral energy battery. "And just come to me if you need it recharged or want another one. I usually hang out in the library." she said, and it was true, she had spent all of last night in there. With this, Violet wandered off towards her first class, Algebra II.

Violet sat in the back of Algebra II. Most of this stuff she had already learned at her last school, she was only taking the course again so that she could finish out the year that the incident had interrupted. She stifled a yawn as Ms. Calculated wrote an equation on the board. "Violet!" the teacher yelled, noticing her boredom. Violet immediately snapped to attention. "Yes, ma'am?" she asked. "Solve for y." she said, thwapping the blackboard with a ruler. "Y is equal to three x squared minus six x plus two." Violet said after doing the necessary calculations in her head. "Very good. Now, moving on..." Ms. Calculated said as Violet slipped into semi-consciousness.

Marcia looked, unimpressed at the problem on the board. Phhh, child's play. raising her hand, she said, "Problem number four isn't right." Ms. Calculated looked shocked. "It would result in an end answer of 3 x equalling 3 x minus six. That's an impossibility." she continued. Puzzled, Ms. Calculation looked at the problem. "Yes, yes, I suppouse you're right. Good job." she wrote a new question on the board in place of the old one.
A number of students groaned or glared outright at Marcia. Why are they so angry? she thought to herself. No one learns from a badly-made problem.

Violet was snapped from her semi-conscious state to one of full attention as the girl corrected the teacher's problem. "All right, now on to our next assignment." Ms. Calculated said, still a little upset at having been corrected by one of her students. Hey, at least two of them were paying some sort of attention, unlike most of the class, which seemed to be more occupied with pelting each other with spitwads and crumpled-up pieces of paper than they were with actually learning something. "For your next assignment, you will need to find a partner..." she almost yelled to make herself heard over the chatter of the rest of the class. Everyone immediately paid attention when she said those words. "Find a partner and begin work on the assignment on page number two hundred and seventy three." she said, and the class bustled about trying to find a partner. Violet pulled her chair up next to the girl who had corrected Ms. Calculated's equation. "I'm Violet." she said. "Wanna be my partner? You seem like the only one who actually cares about learning something." she said, motioning towards the people that, just a few seconds ago, had been more concerned with seeing how far they could shoot a spitwad out of the tube of a broken pen.
