We Are Geth Yeah It's officially become a battle between IG, Vanilla SM and Space Wolves. I've gotten over my fear of painting. Now I have a fear of of the cutting and gluing If you can hold a pen and write, you can hold a knife and clippers just as well.

Building, converting and painting are a big factor with this game, so either you jump into the hobby or not.

The bottles of hobby glue have a long, tapered applicator that makes it easy to put very precise dots of glue onto the models. No worries. If you have the shakes on small detail (I do, it sucks), brace your hand against a table and use a tabletop magnifying lens. Seeing the item bigger puts my mind more at ease.

Personally i always use table as a stabiliser, plus since i wear glasses, i zoom my eyes on it and i'm usually able to put just right amount of glue.. Other thing is, few days ago i bought few terminator, already glued. b*****d didnt even cleaned'em up sad . And few parts looks like he was drowning this terminators in glue :/

We Are Geth I was watching a video and it almost seemed like some of the pieces on some models almost snap together a little bit to help with gluing... Exactly. Newer models from GW and Forgeworld have been coming with easier to assemble pieces. For example, my Leman Russ battle tanks have many many pieces, a nightmare to assemble, except the part where they all have snap on sections. Makes thinks even easier, except certain spots of course, but still easier.

Unfortnetely they are glued to the bases so hard,t probably wont be possible to seperate them wthout damaging legs.. still, when i'll finish them, ill show them here smile

Prices and painting aside, Making them easier to assemble makes more friendly to people like me, It is also entirely logical. The painting is less intimidating now that I've seen it done. There are reason's GW stock trades for close to $300.

I never been a good painter, but when I get my hands on the GW's paint sets, I will repaint my armies and make them even better, using the GW painting tips and such.

We Are Geth I'll just need good paints, good brushes, and I'll be set. That is good. Just remember, be confident. I will be having Dark Angels Army, who will require to be painted very well. Including their Deathwing units. And I have over 100 IG models to paint. God...
