Eirwyn Oh, I can understand the change from one Doctor to another, but there should be continuity in the same incarnation!
#6 obviously liked cats a lot. Would have been neat if he'd met Brannigan & the others. xd

But yeah. I'd agree with the continuity with the same doctor. Because then it just makes things confusing.

Yeah, but doesn't every actor who plays the Doctor put his own mark on the role...? And possibly in Gridlock, he just didn't want to be rude!

I kind of thought he just got over his aversion to cats. I mean, being all, "I met evil cats in wimples! I hate 'em now!" is okay for a while, but it seems as though the Doctor usually tends to like cats, so... I don't know. I think he just had enough time to get over his problem with cats.
I mean, if he took Martha to New New York, he must have stopped being afraid of that, after all.
