"Yes, may i ask who is in charge" Kain asked the man, looking him over. Surely this could not be the headmaster, he was young, not too much older than Kain himself. He noticed that the man was eyeing his dagger and he stowed it under his cloak.

Somehow, Iris knew what she had said was a sensitive topic for the girl and regretted mentioning it immediately. She was a little confused, but knew not to pry any further.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you," she said softly and went to sit in a chair - not too close to Anslia to show that she was willing to give Anslia the space she needed.
The comment about Iris' hair had thrown her off. Was her hair of little use to Anslia? Shouldn't it have been that way? It was on her own head, and so...
Iris frowned, puzzled at the comment Anslia had made. She was about to ask Anslia to explain, but remembered they were not so friendly at the moment and Iris wished horribly to placate Anslia and make amends. And so, she sat there confused.

"I'm in charge, the headmaster of this university actually. May i ask what i can do for you?" Remembering the ladies inside he peeped his head inside, "I'll be right back girls, mkay?" He smiled and withdrew his head from inside to look at the newcomer.

" 'You're' the headmaster?" Kain exclaimed in surprise, "Oh, ok then, Well i am Kain Ire, I was hoping to enroll here. May i ask your name, Sir?" Kain shifted his pack to his left arm

Anslia continued her little personality quirk - half unknowingly and half maliciously. She just... well, frankly she was awful around other girls. Never learned how to get along with them and... to be equally frank, had very little care to. She wanted to succeed in a man's domain - why should she learn to act like a woman?
So, she sat there and thought about Shtona's question. What kind of alchemy indeed.
((Man, I feel silly. I know a bit about alchemy - Ed all the way man... <-- closeted anime geek))

Shtona was shocked. He didn't know why, but he'd been expecting trouble from the young man in front of him, not a request to enroll. "Um, my name's Shtona, and welcome to the Alchemist Training University. If you'll just follow me in here, i was about to start a meeting with some other students." He stepped in the door, leaving it open for his new student, and tried to shake his head clear. "Ladies, i'd like you both to meet Kain Ire, he'll be joining you at the university as well."

it sounds odd, but the moment the new guy walked in, Anslia could sense he was a fighter. She looked desperately for his weapon, eager for a chance to prove herself - but none was to be seen. "Anslia. Nice scar." She sized him up just like she had Shtona. Eh, he wasn't that big. She could take him.

Kain nodded politely in greeting to the two women, "Hello". Kain looked them over, One was very strong looking, and the other seemed very unsure of what to do. They both seemed nice, in their 'Own' ways.

Iris looked up and gave the newcomer a smile. "Hello, I'm Iris!" she said. She was introducing herself much better, and felt it was because of the repetition. Sitting in the room with Anslia in silence did not seem to improve the girl's relationship with her. Iris sighed inwardly. She would try to placate her another time...

"Allright, well now that we've met each other, let's get this meeting started. Kain, you can just put your stuff down anywhere for now, i'll show you your room after the meeting."
((OOC: Because there's three of you at once, i'm going to have to ask a question and let all three of you answer before i can continue so it doesn't get too confusing. Sorry, i wasn't expecting to have to do three interviews at once. ^_^;; ))

Kain walked to a small chair and set his pack beside it. Taking a seat he looked curiously about the room and then settled his gaze onto the headmaster. As he sat his dagger shone in the light of the room and the transmutation circle was clearly in view on it. Along side it were the words "Carpe diem" in the beautiful gold trim.

Her eyes went immediately to Kain's dagger. Weapon...

"Ok. Anslia, you already know the questions since we were just about to begin your interview when we were joined. For their sakes though i'll repeat them, and no, you're fine where you are. What kind of alchemy are you wanting to learn here and what are you aspiring to do with the knowledge you obtain?" As he spoke he walked in front of the three of them and leaned against a nearby table, waiting patiently for their answers when he finished.

"I want combat and defense," Anslia said bruskly. "Something to make up for my size... increase my agility. Dunno anything about alchemy so I've got no clue how to best do that." She bit her lips and thought some more. "Swordsman. I want this stuff to help me be the best."
