Kasiya stopped to catch her breath, then faced the two trainers. "I just came from there not too long ago. The leader isn't there." Eevee leaned over as far as it could to study the Ralts, and gave an inquisitive cry.
"Ouiii?"

"Isn't there?" Ken replied. "I was hoping to see his battles. No where as good as Tate and Lisa I bet."
"Ken! Excuse us." Mitsu said with apologic look. "I'm Mitsu and this is Ken. Ken's Pidgy and my Ralts. I haven't seen that Pokemon before." Mitsu was now as curious as her Ralts. The two seemed to share an identical emotional bond. .

"My name is Kasiya, and this is Eevee. She was just hatched this morning, Kasiya said with a wide smile. "Wow, Ralts! This is a Hoenn region Pokemon! I've read about them before."
"Oui," said Eevee happily, looking from Ralts to Pidgey.
"But back to the gym leader, no, he isn't there. He's probably gone off on some secret training mission again. He does this from time to time."

"Hello Kasiya, nice to meet you." Mitsu replied happily. "Yep, it is." Mitsu set Ralts down for a moment and Ken did the same with his Pidgy.
"Hatched this moring? That must be a very special Eevee to come from an egg." Ken said in awe.

Kasiya too set Eevee on the ground, who's bravery was suddenly lost. She gave a little cry and hid behind her trainer, poking her head out to peek at the other two Pokemon.
"She was a gift from a friend," Kasiya smiled. "She is indeed very special. And, aparently a little shy."

Ralts walked away from Mitsu and was headed in Eevee's direction. She gave out a small cry and curiously walked over to Eevee. While Pidgy, on the other hand, stay'd put next to Ken.
"A gift huh? My Pidgy was given to me from my father." Ken said, suddenly interested in the converstion.

Eevee held its ground as Ralts came near. Her nose twitched excitedly, but she still didn't move.
"A birthday gift, no less," Kasiya said. "She's actually my first Pokemon. I'm not even sure of the ins and outs of being a trainer." Her cheeks reddened a little as she spoke.

Ralts finally reached Eevee. It held out a small white hand. Eevee's positive dispostion had drawn it closer. The usually timid Ralts seems less shy around Eevee and Pidgy.
"Me either. Heck I just started out this morning." Mitsu said relieved that she wasn't the only one clueless about being a trainer here.
"Seems like both of you need a guide to being a trainer." Ken replied. "How about joining up with us? I could teach you and Mitsu the basics."

Eevee sat down and held up a paw to the Ralts's hand. They touched, and Eevee gave a squeal of delight. It somehow knew Ralts meant no harm.
"Really?" Kasiya asked, her cheeks now burning. "I do actually know a lot about Pokemon, it's the experience I don't have."

Ralts surprised by the squeal toppled over. It laughed a bit and stood back up. Giving odd gestures to Eevee, only the Pokemon could have known what it meant.
"Of course! As they say the more the merrier!" Mitsu said "Besides looks like Eevee and Ralts have already bonded. " Mitsu let out a small chuckle after the last couple of words.
"Beside you know Vermillion better than the both of us. We could use that knowledge." Ken said.
Ken's Pidgy flew back up and perched itself back on his shoulder. Somehow knowing that Ken would be going somewhere soon.

"Well," Kasiya giggled at the two Pokemon, "where should we go first? Maybe go find some Pokemon to catch?"

The quiet and peaceful Pallet Town. Ren has just recently left the town after obtaining her Pokedex. Looking at her map, she finds Route 1 and and Virdian City.
"Uhh... its going to be a long walk from here" whines Ren, "I wish I had a bike to get there."
She dicides to take a rest on a log and starts to eat.
"Maybe my Dratini is starting to get hungry," says Ren. She grabs her pokeball and calls out Dratini. Dratini looks around and sees Ren eating.
"Are you hungry?" asks Ren. Dratini does a little jig which Ren takes as a yes.
