ninja For the benefit of Mr. Kite... This movie was really great. Bonham Carter's voice could have been a little stronger, but she acted the hell out of this movie. And the little boy playing Toby? His voice is love.<3

I think it looks good.
As long as Johnny Depp doesn't come out with an album, his career will be fine. XD

I saw the movie a few days ago and can't help but listen to the soundtrack over and over.... I have heard some arguments between this and the actual musical but I think it's just over interpretation. I love how Depp gives a rougher side to his character. And the lad who plays Toiby- Ah!
I'm also impressed that this movie features a few actors or the first time.
/but I still can't get over the fact that Borat was in it.

He's actually pretty good. ^^x And this is the second musical that he's done. (Granted, James Intveld sang for him...but don't forget that Depp had/has a rock band)
Also, since I have never seen Borat...I wasn't tainted.<3

I LOVED IT. I had to drive an hour in a snowstorm because my local movie house isn't getting it until Jan 11. Stupid theatre. Any way - it was worth the trip. Very macabre. I took my daughter and her friend. I assumed the friend understood the premise. She did not. This movie is not for the squeamish and she is very squeamish. Oh well. We enjoyed it. It was mildly disturbing that I enjoyed it as much as I did. The teapot scene was quite something!

Oh, oh, oh! Are you talking about the Pirelli/Toby scene where Depp pours the hot water as soon as the boy comes in the room?<3
