A random hiker in the woods - A Mignon and Maelon RP [ Part 2 ]

Mae chuckled softly. "Creative method. I like it." It didn't seem to matter to either of them that Mignon could have been lost out in the woods for days. The dark chocolate boy probably wouldn't have found her. Not too many people just wandered into a forest hoping they'd find him. He should be rather touched. "You wanna see the house? The woods aren't that interesting if you don't like them..."
Jeanemon
Mignon grinned happily. At least he thought her ideas were good. Most other people thought they were ill conceived at best, stupid and dangerous at worst. "Sure, I'd love to see it! But like I said, I've never been in a forest for long. At least I've learned not to wear my good pants, and more comfy shoes." She looked down at her pants with a slight sigh. Oh, well. At least they weren't her sparkly pink camo ones.

"Awright." Returning Bagira to his shoulder, he motioned for Mignon to follow him. He knew the way back home quite well, considering he didn't bring Midori with him. The deer, however, always seemed to follow him wherever he went, and so all he had to do was follow the most recent tracks to lead him back home. He knew the way regardless, but it was easier following Midori's tracks.
The pair arrived at Chibi's rather oddly-shaped wood house in ten or fifteen minutes. The dark chocolate boy wasn't allowed to stray far. Reaching up, he knocked three times on the door, waiting for someone to answer.

She followed him, of course. She didn't exactly trust herself to find her way out. This Maelon kid seemed to be cool. Plus, he was adorable. Both put him up on her large list-o-friends.
Mignon waited behind him quietly as he knocked on the door. "Cute house. Charming." She said, trying to fill the lack of chatter.

Mae snerked a little at the comment about the house. Cute? Maybe. And it may look charming on the outside, but it was far too messy on the inside to ever call it charming. Hearing approaching footsteps and the lock on the door click, the dark chocolate boy turned the handle, pushing open the door. The retreating figure of Maru could be seen heading back towards the sofa where the other toddler of the house sat. Maelon motioned for Mignon to come in, shutting the door behind her and kicking off his shoes. "D'you want another pair of pants? 'cause you can borra a pair of mine..."
Jeanemon
Following Mae's example, she kicked off her shoes by the door. "Nah, I'm fine. It'll wash off, I'm sure. And if it doesn't, I can go shopping for new ones." That thought cheered her up.
"It looks kinda like my house, actually." She said, looking around. "Ma doesn't do much except lay around and complain, and Da's having a handfull making sure that the other kids don't kill each other. So, do you have any brothers or sisters?"

The dark chocolate boy shrugged his shoulders. "Suit yourself." Personally, he thought being stuck in muddy pants would suck, but whatever. Mae chuckled softly at her next comment, finding her description of her family amusing. He was lucky really, that there was only one boy younger than himself. Sachiya wasn't really the type to attack someone, and the day Raylin decided to actually hurt anybody, the world would end. "Two brothers, Raylin who's older and Sachiya, who's younger. I'm kinda in the middle. You like grapefruit juice?" Already standing the tiled corner that was a sad excuse for a kitchen, he reached to pull a stool closer to him, so as he could reach the cups in the cupboard.
Jeanemon
"That's nice. There's like a million brats at my house. One of 'em's covered in chains, and she's nasty. Allways goes after to of my other sisters." She was blabbing again, following him. "Never had it before, but I'll try anything once. Unless it looks totally gross, like, uh, creamed peas. Plus they smell awful."
Chibi-Baka-chan
"Ewww..." Mae muttered at the mention of the girl in changes. That sounded nasty. Placing two cups down on the table, he moved to the fridge, attempting to find the carton of grapefruit juice. "It's pretty good. Kinda sweet and sour." Finally finding what he was looking for, he poured a cup full of juice for each of them, before returning the carton to the fridge. "And peas are gross. I can't imagine how gross creamed peas are." He shuddered. "You can add sugar to the juice." He took a swig of his, enjoying the almost bitter taste of the grapefruit. Mmm. Nice.
Jeanemon
Mignon took a sip of the grapefruit juice. Her nose wrinkled slightly; it tasted... well, different. "It's interesting." She proclaimed, drinking more. If Mae could stand the taste, then so could she!
She coughed slightly when her pocket started vibrating. Removing her cell phone from her pocket she found she had a text message. "Mom." She said to Maelon. "She says I better come home before she calls the cops. Again. It was nice to meet you, Mae. Hope to see you sometime soon!" Mignon blew him a kiss, her usual way of saying goodbye, collected her shoes, and started out he door.
