well, 9 people know about me. all of them are pretty much cool with it. but i'm scared to tell certain people (homophibic friends, homophobic family, etc) but i have a plan for when i do. imma tell my parents either when my cuz get's a house (cuz she'll accept me) or when i get a drver's license and can run away to my gay friend's house (cuz he'll definatly accept me) either way, i gotta tell them someday, but for now, this closet isn't so bad. at least i'm not afraid of the dark.

My family doesn't know, but some friends do. I consider myself still in the closet.
It gets me paranoid sometimes, even though I haven't had a relationship with a girl (yet).

(Bi) I'm only out to very few of my friends, and I can tell you there's no way I'd come out to my family unless I was planning on marrying a women.

with me i think that some people know my parents have an idea and accept it on a neutral level but they still are in deniail and cant accept it as of yet i would say i am half in the closet but yeah eventually when i do find someone i guess people will know but withy my identity i dont flaunt it around or anything i just know its apart of me.

I came out to my family my freshmen year, right aftere my first gf broke up with me the first time. When it comes to friend i only tell them on a need to know bases. 3nodding

People just know I'm gay. Now I'm not gay with a capital G, but I'm a pretty flambouant person. I'm a lesbian and my whole school knows it (and oddly enough respects it). My family knows...minus my grandparents and more distant relatives and all my firneds know. No one really cares. It's nice actually. It took me forever to come out though. When I first came out (or more pulled out) I was terrified and was made fun of. Know people just respect me because they can see I'm happy. Really, that's all people should care about...being happy and I am with my gf of 6 months this past weekend (a-thank you)

aimeet44 the only reason i am out of the closet is cus well i got cought making out with my girl friend im so stupid at least you didnt get caught having sex with our girlfriend like i did. haha! my mum already knew we were dating, but she didnt expect to walk in on us like that razz (mum made a joke out of it...thank gawd!)

Many people apprear to not be very open, but they are. For example; A kid in my tech class. His name is Talon. He calls stuff gay and homosexual and f** and all that. I asked him once to stop what he was saying because "People get offended by that" and he said "Oh, I don't mean it in a negative way. I have a ton of gay friends. More than straight actually." And he seemed like such a homophob to me.

I was forced into telling my parents by the school. Everybody at school knew it cuz my gf and i would hold hands in the hall and what not.
My dad had an idea he just didn't know for sure because i tried starting gsa at my school in the woods. Then he caught me making out with my ex while she was at my house one day. That sucked.
My advice is to come out. You will feel much better afterwards! Whether you get harrassed or shunned or whatever. And your ideas of what people will think may not be entirely correct. I thought a couple of my friends and my parents would disown me, but it turned out that my mom said it was my choice, it took my dad a couple years to accept it, and most of my friends let me know that they are bi and/or didn't care. As long as I was still the same goofy me!
