Shizuka's eyes beamed with life as the word thief left the mans lips and entered her ears. That single word reverberated throughout her mind as a grin fell on her face. "Thief huh..?" she stated with a sly smile. "What are the necessary requirements needed?" Shizuka asked sitting on her hands for no apparent reason.

"Well," replied Rio, "If, by chance you were to take this job, you would need to be cunning, agile, able to keep secrets, all of the things that obviously be needed to have a career in stealing." he chuckled. "And say you do take this job," he added, motioning around the building, "These quarters are yours to use as you please, weather you move in, visit occasionally, or just come here strictly for, well, business. So the question is, are you in, or out?"

Shizuka gave a smile knowing her answer then the smile quickly faded. Do I really know what I am getting myself into...? she mentally asked herself. ... Who cares?! Shizuka answered herself listening to her evil thoughts. "I am in sir, and...may I know your name so I can stop calling you sir." Shizuka asked with a nervous laugh.

"Ah, of course!" he replied extending a hand, "Rio Harada at your service. It's a pleasure to meet you, and welcome you to the team Miss Shizuka. You'll find that there are many other members besides you and I, and they will probably be dropping around sometime or another. THey should all be happy to know that you'll be joining us. Now if you'll head this way, we'll get you all set up."

A half-Caucasian, half-Japanese man stood against the wall outside Rio's office. He wore a sleeveless black shirt and dark brown pants with many pockets and buckles, all softened so as to make no noise when he moved. He turned his head slightly when the boss' door opened and Rio himself walked out, followed closely by a girl. Girl? a small voice said in his head, She looks about the same age as you. Robert scowled, I'm different, he said back.
He looked the girl over. At least she was good looking. Robert pushed away from the wall. "Captain Harada, sir." he said, completely ignoring Shizuka.

Shizuka stood up smoothing out the ruffles in her skirt and walked behind Rio cautiously looking around every corner before fully turning. She hummed a song she had heard earlier on the radio while following Rio as he knew where he was going since she apparently didn't. The hall was beautiful with paintings and artifacts, most likely stolen artifacts. "This place is beautiful..." Shizuka stated in awe.

"Ah, Kinomoto, good to see you." Rio replied nodding to him, "I noticed last nights mission was a success for you. Keep up the good work." Then motioning to Shizuka he continued, "This is Shizuka Matahari. She's the newest member of the team. Shizuka, this is Robert Kinomoto. He's a key part of our crew here."

Only then did Robert acknowledge Shizuka. He supposed if Rio was fine with her, he would try to be, too. He stuck out his hand. "How do you do?" He spoke Japanese well, though with a slight American accent he had picked up from his mother.

Shizuka bowed in spite that she knew he had snubbed her when she walked. "Hello, nice to meet you. I am doing quite well." She said in a happy voice. Shizuka shook his hand making eye contact with him.

Nadia rounded the corner, so concentrated on the item in her palm, that she nearly ran into the figures in the hallway. She looked up from the combination padlock in her hand to see Rio introducing a girl to Robert. “Nice idea Rio, introducing a new recruit to Robert first. He makes a great impression,” she teased, looking over to see Robert’s reaction. “Welcome to the team, my name’s Nadia,” she said with an easy smile, extending her hand for a shake, “Don’t mind Robert, not all of us are so rude,” she said with a grin.
She tended to tease him, but really she admired Robert and loved him like a brother. She loved all of them like family. And now there was a new member. “Is it still a go for tonight?” She asked Rio, remembering the reason she had been on her way to see him in the first place.

"Ah, yes," relied Rio answering Nadia's question, "You're to arrive at 1:15 on the dot. I've done some observing and that seems to be the time when security is at it's low for the night. Way to be on the ball as always." he smiled at her.
"Hm, well I believe another introduction is in order. Nadia, I'm sure you will be thrilled to know that you are no longer the only girl in the group." he said chuckling. "Shizuka, this is Nadia, she's the mother of this group of thieves," he teased, "Nadia, this is Shizuka, she's just decided to join us and i'm taking her to the back to get her set up to accompany us tonight."

Shizuka gave a grin back to Nadia. "So, what is this mission we are talking about?" Shizuka questioned. She wanted to be in the loop along with the whole group. Unknowingly swaying back and forth, Shizuka waited nervously still being wary of all the character's in the room.

"Glad you asked." Rio stated, "Tonight we have a fairly simple mission. We're going to be breaking into the museum of modern art, and stealing the newest painting. I know it sounds cliche, but it's an easy task, so it'll be a good first mission for you to get to know the basics of being a thief, and learn how to work with the team. So there's no need to be nervous, because we'll be there to help." he smiled and gave her a thumbs up.

Shizuka gave a feline grin at the statement. "Would this be a good time to mention that I've been taking gymnastics for my whole life...?" She asked smiling. "I could demonstrate if I had some room." shizuka continued on feeling happy that after those grueling hours in the gym might finally pay off.

Robert turned slightly so he wouldn't be seen rolling his eyes. Truth is, like everyone else, he loved the group like a family: he just didn't like to show it very much. Especially in front of a new recruit. He crossed his arms and waited.
