Manny shifted to tuck her knees up against her chest, nibbling on gummi bears as the story unfolded. She watched intently as Buttercup tended house, not paying much attention to the Westly. Buttercup kind of reminded her of Riley in some ways, like that she was definately her own person and was very strong willed. But then, Riley wasn't exactly her picture of a girly girl, and probably would have gagged had Manny voiced the observation. Soon the movie introduced Prince Humperdink, and as they showed who was his bride to be she bit her lip. "She looks so sad," she whispered, hoping it wasn't just her that thought that.

Antony's focus was on the prince. He had great clothes, he decided. But he wasn't sure he could pull those colors off. And the tracking part? That was pretty cool...

"Of course she's sad," Riley said in a normal tone. Though quickly remembering where they were she dropped it down to a whisper, "Westly died and she has to marry that other weird guy." And both facts, to her, explained it all. She'd be right unhappy too. Manny was wise not to mention any resemblence she saw, though, since Riley would not have appreciated the comment. Especially since all Buttercup did was decide to marry someone stupid and then get kidnapped. She would never let anyone kidnap her like that. Though the trying to swim away was a bit redeeming on Buttercup's part.

Manny blushed at bit at having her comment turned back at her, but quickly shrugged it off. It was kind of obvious after all. She nibbed on her gummi bears in silence for a while, finding the whole thing kind of silly. Where were Buttercup and Westly trying to go anyway? Wasn't Prince Humperdink just going to find them again?

Antony was slowly dealing with the fact that Humperdink had been the bad guy through the entire thing. The prince... was the bad guy, and the pirate was the good?

.... He scowled slightly, eating another chip as he thought. Stupid Prince Humperdink. If you were going to do something bad, you should make sure you weren't caught. But then again, other than a few people involved, nobody knew yet, right?

Maybe he wasn't THAT stupid.

Riley, however, didn't really think about the same things as her friends. She didn't worry about how they might escape Humperdink, instead she drank in the thrill of the chase, leaning forward slightly in her chair. And she didn't fuss over the reverse roles of hero and villian. Actually, Riley was quite fond of pirates. She liked princes too, when they were fighting some sort of monster, but Humperdink didn't do anything, so she was content with him being the bad guy. Even if it he was a bit boring.

"So what do you think's going to happen to them?" Manny whispered, eyes wide at the thought that the pirate and the crazy sword guy were the good guys. Wait, so were they storming the castle? And who was that pale guy? This was kind of confusing.

"There's no way Westly can fight like that," Antony whispered. "I bet she's going to wind up married to the prince."

"No way!" Riley scoffed a bit too loud, earning a few nasty looks from people around them. At least she seemed to catch herself and went back to whispering right afterwards, "Westly'll get her back! The good guy always wins. There's no way the prince will get away with it all." It was common knowledge that good triumphed over evil. Though Humperdink wasn't the best example of evil, but still.

"But didn't Westly do bad stuff too?" Manny mused, "He was a dread pirate after all." This was kind of hard. So if the good guy was bad and the bad guy was weird, what would happen? Did kinda good win over weird and kind of pathetic? And what about Inigo? Where did he come in?

Antony stayed silent, sitting back and relaxing. So what if the prince wasn't the greatest of characters? It was just a movie, and if he was smart, he'd learn something from it.

He finished off his nachoes, not even smug when she married the prince after all.

"So? Westly's still good. That's what counts," She murmured as if this solved everything. Well, someone was idealistic. Though she was a bit upset when she saw the "marriage". She found she didn't like Buttercup much. Maybe she thought she was saving Westly, but giving in seems so wrong. Luckily Riley got distracted by the sword fighting again later, which never stopped being amazing.

"I guess so," Manny agreed, though she was still having a little trouble keeping track of who was what. Wait, why was Buttercup marrying Humperdink? That didn't make any sense. She went through all that to get Westly and now she was just giving up. Ugh, this had better not be the end. "I hope someone stops the wedding," she suggested quietly, building tension in her mind as each second ticked by.

The wedding wasn't stopped, but Westly told her that it hadn't left her married. The "I do" part, Antony thought with a hint of sarcasm. By this time he was slightly bored with the movie, regardless of the sword fights and other such.

It didn't agree with his beliefs, so he dismissed it off hand. Not that he would tell the girls that.

Riley seemed satisfied by the ending. The kiss was yucky, but she was just glad that the good guys won in the end. Though she wished Humperdink had gotten punished better...and she kind of wished Westly had been able to fight Humperdink instead of just...talk to him. Well, you couldn't always have it your way I guess. She jumped up from the seat when the credits rolled in, stretching her restless limbs without hesitation, "Ahh!"
