It's sad, but some Sakura bashers will never quite overcome their first impression of Sakura's character. This is just an argument the bashers found to keep hating. They'll always find flaws in her character no matter how astounding Sakura's growth. (Or how her flaws are human and logical; they add to the value and growth of her character).
It's just...anti-fandom. sad

The biggest problem with Sakura fans is what Immeh said-- they cling to one fault, and create faults from there instead of liking Sakura for the character she was intended to be-- a HUMAN character, with interpersonal qualities and flaws. She was created to bring romance and HUMAN WEAKNESS into the Naruto storyline-- not all of the character can be god-mods like Naruto and Sasuke, with insane skills and handicaps that allow them to go above and beyond the level of a normal human. Sasuke comes from a bloodline of strong shinobi, AND has the Sharingan. Naruto has Kyuubi. Neji has Byakugan.
Sakura isn't like that. She's a human character, with human skills, and she has to work hard for what she gains. People seems to forget she's knowledgeable, can set up a plan on the fly, is a genjutsu user, medical ninjutsu user, and has the best analyitcal skills on team 7 (as stated by SASUKE.) She's also one of the only characters who keeps her emotions on her sleeves, and shows how she feels. It opens her up to ridicule, but it's meant to show aspects of the other members of Team 7 that they don't show themselves.
Oh, and she's in the way of uber yaoi lubss ftw. /end sarcasm

Sadly.....I used to REALLY hate Sakura until Shippuuden came out. Now I'm obsessed with her. People just don't understand that there was a time lapse and each character has changed quite a bit. Sakura has been training under Tsunade so OF COURSE she's going to be freakin strong. And her love for Sasuke is no longer a fingirl crush, it has finally become real love. People just don't like her cause she became awesome and can now stand up for herself. Next time someone bashes her.....shoot 'em ><

My sister jill, her friend Mo is a Sakura bashing and once she started to bash her right to my face so I have to cover my ears. I heard:
Sakura is a fat, ugly, stupid, annoying, brat, that knows only..." and then I couldn't hear anything.
