I know who the sniper is. After extensive research all lines lead to only one character. One character that is so evil, and so twisted that they shoot people in their greatest moments to bring them down. That person is... RINA!
She's going to shoot Edmund because she wants to steal all the Black Orchids and Garlic back, just to sell them again.

Edmund does now that the Von Helson sisters are back, and he knows that the Sniper is watching him! So that's why he made us gaians get the item! xD Edmund is secretly Professor Dumbledore... Nevermind. I've been watching too much HP... I think yours is the best theory we have heard in a while. lol.
