Caspian allowed himself to give her a small smile in return, but forced most of his tohughrs away. He turned his head to look at Merlin and Tarianna Rose, laughing softly. "Poor Merlin. He's never understood kits. But he seems to be handling the little ball of energy alright."

Marina chuckled. "As the carer, I should probably go help," She said, with a slight roll of her eyes. She walked over to Merlin and the kit saying. "Hello, young one, I'm Marina. Who may you be?" She was always polite to kits, not wanting to put them down. "Is Merlin giving you a fishing lesson?" She looked at Merlin for a moment, fightly the urge to laugh.

Tarianna smiled at Merlin sheepishly before watching he walk over to her with awe. She truly did look up to the older fox sometimes. As she did as she was told, Tarianna found it increasingly hard to stay focused on the task. One minutes she was hungry, then the next she felt thirsty,m then she was itchy, she could seem to sit still, which seemed to frustrate Merlin, or she thought it did by the way he would occasionally glance at her.
Finally the small purple kit managed to relax, and allow herself to stand still and alert. The fish were beginning to surround her when Marina came over. She had never had much contact with her before and when she came over, Tarianna Rose couldn't help but get excited. She turned around abruptly, to face the female fox speaking to her, making a splash and scaring away the fish that had already taken so long to get near her.
"Wow Merina, I'm Tarianna Rose, but call me Tarianna for short, 'cause Tarianna Rose just sounds too long, and.." she took a breath to start talking again, but calmed herself and stood still again.
"Well, Yeah he is trying to teach me to fish, but I guess they don't like me much." Tarianna licked her lips.

Merlin rolled his eyes again as the young kit pivoted quickly to speak to Marina. Fifteen minutes of trying to get her to stand still...and nothing. Sending Marina a partially annoyed glance over Tarianna's head, he stilled again; the fish were flocking around him. With an uncharacteristic grin, Merlin dove, coming back up with a struggling fish. Chortling in amusement, he headed back out of the water, dropping the fish onto the shore.

Marina caught Merlins eye and shrugged. "They don't like me either, Tarianna. You're not alone there, little one." She chortled. "I'm the carer of Bateau, so we'll be seeing a lot of each other," She grinned, her tail flicking. Where was Caspian? "So, how much of the Tribe have you met?" She asked the kit.

By now, Tarianna had lost most interest in catching fish, Marina seemed awfully nice. When she heard Marina was the carer for Bateau she seemed a bit excited.
"Well maybe not too much" she said with a proud smile.
"I'm almost all grown up" she commented, trying to sound as grown up as possible.
"As for the tribe, I have only met a few people.. you're all very-- WOAH! did you see that it was so cool!" Tarianna commented, her attention being diverted again towards Merlin who stole the show by catching a fish.
"I wish I could do that" she mused in an almost jealous tone, though that was in her natural nature.

Merlin looked over at his young charge. "You'll be able to soon, if I have any say. I promise, it's nothing overly special." He gave her a small, encouraging smile, then headed up further onto the shore ot let the two talk.

Marina grinned. How sweet this little one was. "Here, you can come meet Caspian," She said, looking for an excuse to see him again. "Caspian," She said when the reached him. "This is Tarianna Rose," She nudged the little kit forward.

Tarianna nodded at Merlin before he walked away, the sudden pushy-ness of Marina bothered Tarianna for a second. Yet the idea of meeting more people excited her, but that was only if she would like the person. Her tail wagged happily.
"Uh, Hi?" she said to Caspain a bit unsure of herself suddenly.
"I'm tarianna!" she said brightly.

Caspian glanced down at the young kit, then back up at Marina with a somewhat panicked look. Sighing, ho looked back down at the kit. "Thay call me Caspian," he responded with a weak smile. "I trust Marina hasn't forced her cheerful personality on you too much?"

"I'm sure I have," Marina said apolgeticly. "I'm sorry if I have," Marina said to the little kit. She met Caspian's eye and held back laughter. "So, Tarianna, what do you want to do?" She asked.

Caspian slunk away quickly from his newfound mate and the kit, joining Merlin in the salty waters. He stood there in comfortable silence for awhile as Merlin stared into the murky depths. To some, he might look like he was staying still to attract fish. But, in reality, he was just being his normally odd self.
"Females," Caspian supplied with a sigh.
Melrin grunted in agreement. "Females indeed...."

Tarianna glanced at Marina and smiled.
"No, it's okay I don't mind at all." she nodded, and then yawned slightly. It was a miracle for her to run out of energy and slowly, she was.
"Bye Caspain" she said brightly unaware of the fact he wanted nothing to do with her at the moment. She turned back to Marina.
"You got something you wanna do?" she asked. "I just feel like sitting down for a bit" And she did.

Marina smiled down at her young charge, and said, "Nope. You wanna take a nap? I do," she said, yawning lightly.
((-pokes life to tribe- DON'T DIE ON ME!))
When Marina awoke, the sun was setting. She stood and stretched, then looked at her...not young charge? She had grown up! The first kit of Bateau already an adult!
It was truly amazing.
Marina stepped back to get a better look. Tarianna's fur had stayed about the same, perhaps a fraction darker. Her tail was an electric blue, and the fur that covered her eyes looked really long.
Deciding to let her sleep, she ran to find Caspian.
"Caspian," She called quietly, not wanting to wake him up if he was asleep.

"What is it?" Caspian asked, waking up with a yawn. "Anyone die?" Stretching stiff muscles, he stood up, looking at his mate questioningly.
Merlin rolled his eyes at Caspian as he questioned his new mate. Looking over at Tarianna, he blinked in surprise. "I can't decide if I should be upset that I'm chargeless or ecstatic..."
