I love them both, though Erik more.
What I don't get is why some people hate Severus. He rocks, and I love how much development he got. Voldemort doesn't seem like he could exist in the real world. Severus does.
They do seem alike...I never thought of that. But they've got similar situations as adults.

There's a lot of similarity between them. Both love a girl who marries their enemy, both have swooshy-wooshy black capes, both have a very, shall we say, imposing presence, both have been villainised, and both have a large fan-base of giggly girls. xd
