Grinning sheepishly, Mitsuko rubbed the back of her head. "Sorry Katsuo-kun, I'm a little slow." Then, she looked down at Alimet again. The dog seemed to be making fun of her, his eyes amused as he stared back up at his owner. "Hey hey, don't you laugh at me too, Alimet!" The girl protested, wagging her finger at her dog. It was a rather odd sight to behold to those passing by.

"Mm..." Mitsuko nodded slowly, the soft smile still on her face, "It's the advice that I live by. I owed a lot to that person. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't be who I was today." She grinned. Really, if she hadn't been given that advice, how would she have been on the first day of school? Shy, quiet, and frightened most of the time, probably. Then, Mitsuko giggled, "Well, I can make equally good tea that keeps you in tip top shape, so maybe I can make you some of that sometime."

"Understood!" Mitsuko nodded, even saluting. Then, she tapped at her grin thoughtfully, before answering, "Well, Satu-kun is in charge of the musical, I believe. He's in your class - talk to him about it maybe? Or I can ask him for you?"

"Naw, don't worry about it, Mitsuko-chan. I understand." He smiled at her, then turned to Alimet with the same smile. He really was a smart dog. And a funny one, too, just like his owner was. "I'm sure he doesn't mean any harm." He laughed lightly as she scolded her dog yet again. These three were really, really close.

"Wow." It was all he could say, really. It took him a few moments to think of something to add to it. But when he did, he smiled. "If you don't mind me asking, who was she? She sounds like an amazing woman." He idlely wondered what would have happened to him had someone been there to give him good advice -other than the biased words that he thought were nonsensical that he received from his parents everyday. "Would you mind bringing some of that to school for me? I'd love to try it sometime."

"Satu-kun, then... All right, when I go to school tomorrow, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for him. If you see him before me, then you can ask him, okay?" He nodded. Whoever made it to Satu first would be the one who would ask him if it was too late for Katsuo to join or not.

Alimet sat, panting happily with his tail waving as Mitsuko teasingly scolded him. The dog took it well, ears pricked as he listened to his owner. Just as Mitsuko was finally going to stop, Alimet stood up and licked her hand. "Wah! Alimet!" Squeaking, she shook off her hand, making sure not to get any of the slobber on Katsuo in the process. Not again.

Startled, Mitsuko jumped a little at his question, before looking at him quietly. Then, with a small smile, she shook her head. "Oh. She was my grandmother. She always had good advice to give to me, and that advice - the one about being happy - was the last thing she told me before..." Trailing off, Mitsuko chewed on her bottom lip awkwardly, before smiling and making an effort to perk up again. "Of course, Katsuo-kun! I'll make you some of the tea and bring it to school for you." She promised, nodding with a smile.

"Alright! If I see him first, I'll ask him about it then!" She agreed, before grinning, "I hope you can get in Katsuo-kun."

Katsuo laughed again as Alimet again attacked Mitsuko with his tongue. Though he wondered if the dog realized that she didn't seem to like it much. Oh well, he was just joking with her, so it was okay. At least this time none of the slobber got on him.

The girl's sudden jump startled him slightly. Was it something he'd said? Maybe it was a bad topic and he should get off of it. "Oh, I'm sorry, Mitsuko, I didn't know." He looked down solemnly, frowning and slightly embarassed. "I'll find you as soon as I can, then, to take you up on that." He was still looking down, but a hint of a smile formed on his face. "Ouran's student body can't be that big." He didn't know for sure just how big the school was. But he'd learn soon enough.

"Thanks, Mitsuko. You probably will see him first." Thinking about it more thoroughly, he figured out a question that he probably should have asked her in the first place. "Uh... What does he look like, though?"

"Ick." Rubbing her hands on a handkerchief, Mitsuko sighed down at Alimet, before kneeling down to give him a hug. "You really should stop that Alimet - it's gross - but I love you anyways!" Really, Mitsuko wasn't a very firm owner, to say the least.

Rubbing the back of her head, Mitsuko offered a small smile. "No no, it's okay Katsuo-kun! It's not your fault and besides, it's probably best for me to have a chance to talk about her sometime so...thank you." Then, her smile growing, the girl giggling. "Well, it's preeeetty big. I'm surprised I didn't get lost on the first day." She made a face.

"You're welcome, you're welcome!" Then, "Uhhh, what does Satu-kun look like?" Stratching her head, Mitsuko stared up at the sky, as if it'd help her think. "Well, he has blond hair, is about this tall," She rose her hand in the air to an appoximate height, "And has blue eyes." She rose her hands up to her face, framing her eyes with her fingers like glasses.

Still not completely convinced, Katsuo returned Mitsuko's smile. "If you say so." She seemed to be okay with it, so he took the chance and dropped the subject there. "I'll be sure to be extra careful, then." He'd still probably get lost, whether he was trying to find his way properly or not. His sense of direction wasn't very good -but then again, something told him that Mitsuko's wasn't the best, either.

Blond hair, blue eyes... "Is he a foreigner?" Those weren't very natural qualities for someone born in Japan. Not that he could talk, considering his own situation. "Those characteristics probably fit more than one student, but thanks, Mitsuko. That helps a lot." There was no way to be sure they'd meet each other the next day, but two people couldn't possibly avoid each other for very long, even in a school as big as Ouran. He pictured the boy based on the physical description he'd been given. There were still a lot of holes in his appearance that he'd have to fill in after they met.

"Well, if you do get lost, everyone in Ouran seems pretty friendly," She said, nodding her head cheerfully, "So you can always ask someone if you get lost. I'll keep an eye out for you at school too! And if you ever need a tour, and we happen to meet..." She trailed off, grinning. Mitsuko always did like to help others - it always made her happy to know that she had done a good deed of some sort.

Tilting her head at Katsuo's question, she frowned thoughtfully. "Mm..." Was Satu a foreigner? She wasn't completely sure. "I'm...not sure. I suppose he might be? But if it somehow helps you find him, his last name is Kimura." She rubbed her head in thought, chewing on her bottom lip. Was there any other helpful details she could offer?

"...I can't think of anything else," She admitted sheepishly, "Sorry."

Something about Mitsuko's personality made him think that she was overplaying the kindness of Ouran, but regardless, it was a comfort to know at least someone thought that way. "You and Satu will be the first ones I look for in the morning, then." He hoped that he would be lucky enough to find them both before the day was through. Considering how many introductions he would have to suffer through, though...

Too bad she couldn't remember anything else about the boy. Kimura Satu, eh? Katsuo wondered what the boy was really like. Mitsuko's idea of him was probably merely a charicature of who the teenager truly was. "That should be enough. Really, Mitsuko, thank you." At least now he had a last name to aid in his search. Doubtless Mitsuko wasn't the only Ouran student who'd heard of Satu before. Someone would be able to lead them to each other, he was sure of it. At least, if he didn't forget about the whole thing once he woke up the next morning. Visibly shaking his head to clear his mind of his doubts, the boy returned his thoughts to the time. It was rather late, wasn't it? "It looks like it's time for me to head home." The sun was much lower in the sky than it had been when he first got there.

"I'm glad I could help," Mitsuko replied, looking genuinely happy. "I really think you'll like Ouran - it's a pretty big school, but it's really quite a pleasant one as well." Her attention was drawn to the sky when the boy mentioned going home, and her eye brows shot up. "Ah, it is getting late, isn't it? I wonder how long we've been talking?"

The fact that Razi, still sitting on Katsuo's lap, was drifting to sleep must have meant that they had been there for a while. Even Alimet seemed less energized that he had been when they first arrived at the park. The bright side to this was that Mitsuko wouldn't be dragged home by the large dog, and instead would - for once - have control over her pet. That was a rare treat.

"It's time to head home for us as well," Mitsuko said, reaching out and picking up Razi. She held the kitten close to her body as she reached out cheerfully and gave her new acquaintance - or new friend, in her eyes - a hug. "It was really nice to meet you, Katsuo-kun! You have to promise that we'll see each other at school sometime!" She smiled, her voice bright.
