"I think it might be our own responsibility to solve that one. Don't let it weigh you down," Zephy stated, sitting on his rump once more. He moved his head down to groom his front paws, nipping at his fur, pulling some of it out. "'The curse' itself is rather odd. My sight and smell is gone, yet I have a great sense of touch, and hearing. And then there is my inborn gift. I can cope well enough without my eyes, and I don't think I need them. But I always wondered what it would be like to see, just once."
He seemed amused as he 'watched' the two Kitsusagi move in to nuzzle each other.
"Are you two an item? And should I leave you be now?"

Both paused and then pulled away, both letting out a loud 'EEWWWWW!' between them both. "No, he is like my big brother, that is just...disgusting!! Besides, I already have someone!!" she said, her face red with embarrassment.

Zephyrizon practically roared with laughter. His tongue was flailing out of his mouth as he made a loud hissing chuckle, and after a moment he flopped down onto his side, clawed paws hugging his belly.
"Oh, by the heavens and deities above," He chuckled after calming down again somewhat. "Calm down, silly creatures! It was a joke!" He pushed himself back onto his feet again. "There is no need to become so defensive. Though, I do admit," The ashen grey Nightmare grinned, baring his teeth. "That was indeed quite a bit of fun."
He sat down again and continued to snicker.
"With a reaction like that, I really do wonder what would happen in the case of me asking about a real relationship." He turned his head back towards Hale, smirking. The cogs were turning in Nightmare Kitsusagi's head now.

Adjo snickered as he gave Lucia and playful shove and he moved out of the way when she tried to get him back. He then got up and followed after Zeph toward Hale, "I think there is someone for everyone, so I am sure there is someone out there for you." he said, his tails flicking about and his tongue taking in their close scents.

Zeph grinned - this time, a genuine heartfelt smile, rather than one of his usual smarmy or typical malicious-intent smirks.
"Oh, I do believe there might be," He responded nodding. "I really do, honestly believe there is somebody who already exists out there for me. I just need to convince her of the fact, and then win her over." He seemed genuinely thoughtful upon mentioning this, and became quiet for a moment.
"Do you believe there is somebody out there for you?" The dark smirk returned to his face, the cogs in his head continuing to turn. "Do you believe in fate, things being pre-ordained, or do you believe everything is random and that you have to go forewards on your own choices?"
Meanwhile, Hale just tilted her head, one ear raised, the other lopped. She was curious to see where this conversation was going.

Adjo sat close by, rubbing at his arm with a clawed paw, smiling gently as he thought on it, "I'd like to think we can control our own destiny, make our own path in life. And I'd....like to think there is someone just for me, that will love me for me." he said softly.

Zeph began to inch further away from the dark male, the only sound escaping him for the time being, a soft amused snickering noise. His tongue flicked out of his mouth, and his tails wagged behind him, the Kitsusagi barely able to contain the wicked playfulness surging through him now.
"Oh, I can agree with that," Zeph purred. "You see, I've been doing some research. My sense of smell is very sensitive, as is my aura sensing ability. Auras change colour with mood and thought."
"I've made a discovery," He smirked, the fur on the back of his neck rising now. "I already found them, I think. It's just a pity that sometimes you can get hurt by the one you love, ey?!"
Without waiting another moment, the ashen-grey Nightmare Kitsusagi suddenly shoved Hale'oki straight at Adjo.
Hale stumbled, making a loud squeak in shock as she was shoved. The thumped right into Adjo, then stumbled back, growling at her surrogate son.
"What the hell was that for?!"

Adjo yelped a bit when Hale was shoved into him and he blushed, glad that Hale couldn't see it. "Zeph, what are you doing, why did you shove her at me?!" he asked, wondering what the younger Nitemare was up to now.

"Don't you see?" Zeph loudly chuckled, his toothed bony maw smirking from ear to ear. "Well, you obviously can't physically, but that was a figurative statement.... um..."
He loudly cleared his throat. "When mother first came to get me, she smelled of you. YOU, my friend. And well, why would she smell of you? If it was a casual passing-by, not much scent would be picked up. But no, mom smelled of you quite noticably. Which means, it was quite, quite deliberate."
He sat on his hinds now, tapping his claws in the dirt, delighting at the clicking noises they made on the rocks under his feet. "And why would it be deliberate, you ask?" He smirked evilly. "Because you two have been rubbing up against each other like lovesick kittens, haven't you?"
Hale made a loud roaring noise at Zeph, a threatening warning rumble rising up in her throat. "Enough!!"
"There's the overdefensiveness again," Zeph chuckled. "It always occurs in awkward situations like this." He shook his head. "I'm actually happy for you both. Besides, what is mom going to do once I've fully ventured out into the world on my own without her? Without you, friend, she would become just a wandering lonely nomadic Kitsu all over again."

Adjo's face went red with a blush and he started sweating a little. Zeph thought they...."We ran into each other and decided to hunt together! That is probably why my scent was all over her!" he explained, not wanting Hale to get mad. Yes, her own scent was delightful to his senses, bring him a calm he never really experienced before, but that didn't mean she wanted him!

"Sure sure," He smirked, tongue flicking out of his mouth again. Both Hale and Adjo's auras were going all kinds of colours, which amused the ashen-grey Kitsusagi immensely. Heck, even if what he was saying wasn't true, this was fun enough!
"Mom doesn't normally hunt together with anyone. That's just another mark for your checklist." Zeph smirked. "You're really not being very convincing here, either of you. At least try harder, huh?"
He was quiet for a few moments, gold-banded ears lowering, his voice quiet and sincere now. "I never knew my dad, also. Mom's the only family I have. It'd be nice to have a father, at least in name. I couldn't care less about genetics."
A few moments ago, Hale was about ready to belt her son across the back of his head with a paw. Though now she had heard that, she was quiet, not knowing what to say in response.
"So tell me," Zeph grinned once again. "When can I start calling you father?"
"Raawwwrrrr!!"

"W-w-what?!!" he yelled and he just about fell over from shock. His brain about fried, but he was snapped out of it by the next person speaking.
"So he is your son now Adjo? Does this mean I am finally a grandmother!" Charna asked from behind, a mischievous grin on her beaked maw.

Zephyrizon was shaking with laughter all over again. He once again flopped down onto his side, unable to contain himself any longer. The Nightmare Kitsusagi literally roared with laughter for a few moments, hugging his belly area and sides as they were aching.
"Grandmommy!!" He practically yelled out, immensely amused. "Are you going to bake some cookies?!"
Hale lowered her head, burying her face in her paw.
"It's times like this I'm glad you're adopted..." She grunted. The light blue coloured female shook her head and made her way over to Adjo, lightly bumping him in the shoulder with her snout.
"Relax," She said to him, rubbing her face against his side. "He's just doing it to get a rise out of us. He's a spoiled brat, and childish. He deserves nothing but to be ignored when he gets like this."

Charna trotted over to sit next to Hale, laughing right along with him, finding this all too funny, "Of course my dear grandson!! Anything for you!" she said in a joking manner. Adjo groaned, "Would be easy enough if my mother didn't get involved. I just don't want them to embarrass you with stuff that isn't true." he said softly.

Zephyrizon responded to Charna with whistle-like chirps, the same silly ones he made in his hatchling-hood before he could speak properly. The dark grey Nightmare sat up once again, broadly grinning with amusement.
"Just be careful not to burn your paws on the oven door," He said happily. "You know, not being able to see and all..."
Hale gave Adjo another bump in the shoulder, this time harder, wanting to lead him away somewhere quieter. She was clearly irritated now, tired of being teased, and embarassed. She looked up at him, ears pinned back as she spoke. Without speaking a word, she bumped him in the shoulder with her bony maw again, squeaking, wanting him to move along.
"I could care less if they attempt to embarass me with stuff that isn't true," She grunted finally. "Because if it wasn't true, I wouldn't care about any lies being spouted."
With ears pinned back as far as they would go, she squeaked at him again.
"Can we just... get away from these idiots?"
