So I don't have a house yet but according to the housing commision thingy I've got enough gold to place one. If I wanted to join you is there anything else I'd need to know or do first?

It seems the best thing to do is to click the let me place my house button and then click the take me to towns link. We will have to make sure we're together in the same board before we place our houses.
When I've done this before, I was the only one on the board until I placed my house and then it filled up right away. It may not be possible to place our houses together, but it's worth a shot.

So just to be sure... it's the 11:15pm mountain time on the 19th right now where I am, so we're going to try getting together in about 15hours?

That would be today(Monday Aug. 20 at 2 am Gaia Standard time right? Everyone make sure you know what time that translates to in your time zone. You can do this by going to the world map and following the link at the bottom righthand corner of the map Gaia Standard Time. If you have your correct time zone set in your account, it will show you what your time will be at 2am GST. Which in my case will be 4:00 pm. I believe in Tapewormsupreme's time it will be 2:00 pm.
