I have been reading this Sci-fi booked titled Clone, it has an interesting plot.

These four boys are brothers and their biological parents had a gift. The gift was that they remembered every single thing they ever saw or ever read. So they boys were separted at birth and never knew about each other.

So one day the scientists put them all in the same room and sent the female scientist in. Somehow they started to change stuff on her. First they replace her head with a dog's head. Next they took off her clothes, gave her 6 boobs, gave her extra arms. And she had no idea why they were laughing. They somehow managed to do this with their mind.

That's as far as I got, but the book is intertaining.

WTF

In their minds or literally?

Literally. Then they switched her back.

Needless to say I reread that page a few times to get the story straight.

Three Imposters and other stories by Arthur Machen. The author has had a way of drawing me into the stories and has me wondering what kind of mystic forces are at work behind the mysteries. Very good read.

Just finished Lord of the Flies, I really liked it. And for you fans of Lovecraft, you should try hunting down a collection of Clark Ashton Smith. Most (probably all of his work) is posted on http://www.eldritchdark.com . Right now I'm trying to choose between reading Burgess's A Clockwork Orange or Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy.

I finally got around to reading that last month. Maybe I'm interpreting it the wrong way, but I found it to be overrated. Quite possibly the most anti-humanist book I've ever read.

And I'd go with Clockwork Orange for sure. I read that one two years ago and it still comes to mind frequently.

I found myself enjoying the whole idea of mankind's slow, but sure regression to its primitive counterpart when it seemingly has no laws or standards of civilization to be bound to and no severe consequences, it seems, because of the lack of laws and standards. It may be overrated, but along with those themes aforementioned and the fact that I grew attached to the characters and honestly hoped the best would happen and a great narrative that kept me interested the whole way through I think it's a great well-written book, I'd recommend to anyone who hasn't read it.

I started off with Blood Meridian instead, so once I'm done with that I'll start with A Clockwork Orange. After that... I think I'm going to go get The Power and the Glory by Graham Greene and Earth Abides by George R. Stewart

I read that a few months ago. I suprisingly enjoyed it, I wasn't expecting to. Now I'm waiting for the next one that comes out April 16th.
