Does anyone know of a deck with more understandable or specific meanings?... I've been doing tarot for a short while, but I want more specific meanings, and made for more close future or telling me something big that may be happening.

Well, no specific deck can give you a very specific reading. Tarot is mostly a guide to help you understand what could happen as a result of which actions. Basically, all that can tell you if something big might happen is intuition and your own feelings.
There are certain cards that I have heard help you communicate with beings that may know, like mine for instance. I have the Animals Divine Tarot. While I have only had it a short time, I know that with it I will soon be able to communicate with animals that may help me understand a situation more. They might not be able to tell me what might exactly happen tomorrow or next week, but they may be able to help me choose a correct path to take.

Did that help at all? I kind of rambled at the end... sweatdrop

How does your deck work with animals? I'm very interested.

I have a dragon deck. What is funny is that I got one of those box sets that comes with a book and stuff, and it was 8.50, and it was also the one that I really liked. the next day when I went back to Hastings, there was another on the shelf for $32......so I think I was meant to get this one.

as far as spreads, I use the celtic cross, life path (a 21 card variant of the past present future, works in 3 week/month increments), and a relationship one that I found online. the relationship one works really well, it shows how things are going between you and another person and also what can be done to resolve any problems.
