Meh.. I saw one last year, but wasn't impressed. The arrangment wasn't suited for such a large band... but I did enjoy a Nightmare Before Christmas show I saw, all the colorgaurd, dancers, and props were neon and luminescent. The Cavaliers did a great job of that 007 show, knocking back our blue devils a couple ego notches. I still love every show I've ever seen by USC, they truly are a crowd pleasing band smile When I saw them take the field for the first time... they CHARGED on holding their instruments like weapons and ran around the field like an arena, then played some of the best arrangements I've heard of recnt music, my fave being crawling in the dark <3 They not only played for the audience... but half way through their songs they SWITCHED SIDES, playing to the bands that were waiting for awards (thats where I was, lol). Best damn night of my life.

my band's 2006 show. it was the year before i joined. we did Quidam/Cirque de Soleil. the guard and music was fudgin amazing. one of the songs was an altered version of "incantation" and there was a part where most of the band just stopped playing and began chantingish. and we had the headless percussionist. and one of the trumpet players got to play in her pajamas and pigtails...and the overall show was just really cool.
