Sev nodded to Kaiya in the same greeting he had given the other two girls. Grimacing when the man started to talk again. Oh, was he a character, playing his part on the ladies now. He clenched his fists as he turned to each of them, spitting out remarks that would be frowned upon in his land. Being polite to women was one thing, but this was a whole different story. He stopped himself from acting on impulse as he turned to the girl with the horse. No, he didn't know her at all, but her beauty almost got to him. His head snapped to the man as he addressed him, putting a smile on his face and nodding, but when he turned to Kaiya, Sev rolled his eyes in annoyance. Someone needed to stop this guy, because it wasn't amusing anymore.

Seorsa sighed and closed her eyes...the flirting was taking it too far. She held back her anger, though, speaking softly. "Well, 'Rove'...I think I speak for all of us when I say this. It would be highly appriciated if you stopped being so egocentric, and treating us girls as play things. Maybe then you would realize that we are not here for you, but for our home...for Sarnon." She took a deep breath. "I think that if you would listen, instead of just hearing, you would see that we were all called by Alucia and Anorad, the same as you. And please...I highly doubt you are going to get any of us girls in bed with you by acting in such a manor." She looked at him, her eyes holding the elegant wisdom of all Kayen. They did not hold anger, though. Just a slight hint of irritation, and discomfort. She really did dislike being treated in such a way.
Being born to a small, back woods Kayen family, she was not blow-you-away gorgeous, but she did have a gentle beauty to her. Many of the Kayen men saw this, and a few had actually gone after her. Such talk and looks were only the start of what she felt was to come. She felt herself take a few steps back, but hoped no one else noticed. It was out of instinct after all. She took a deep breath, hoping to soothe herself, and spoke again.
"I hope not to come off as rude, but we are all here for the same reason. I felt it should be made clear before this continued. Now, please...If we are to be traveling together, we should get to know each other." Her face changed to a soft, slightly uncomfortable, smile.

As he preferred it, Abel remained forgotten in the scene Rhovanion was causing. It struck him as weird that moments ago he lay on the cusp of entering into his journey and now he stood before such a comedic sight. Shaking off the feeling that this was simply a bizarre dream he approached Seorsa while he could. He cleared his throat to steal her attention away from Rhovanion. Once he claimed her focus he spoke in a warm voice typical of an Uruite.
"My name is Abel, and I'm from Runya"

Saya heard the cough, and quickly turned. She was glad to have a reason to turn her attention away from anger. She smiled warmly at him and bowed. He seemed to be speaking directly to her, so it wasn't out of place. "Welcome to Tarna, Abel" She turned to the rest. "A warm welcome to all of you as well." She turned back, though. "Being in Arda for so long, having to read the body language of animals, i've learned a lot of things. Is there something you want to speak about with me?"

Sari was initially pleased when a new boy came in, but her pleasure faded quickly when he spoke of Rani as being "his horse". Rani wasn't even her horse, so Sari had no idea how he was supposed to belong to this newcomer. Furthermore... Well, no one but Sari had ever ridden Rani. Sari wasn't sure whether or not he would even let anyone else ride him. "Actually, he's..." Sari began, her voice fading out as the newcomer just spoke over her. The halfbreed blinked in surprise; it was so rude of him! And he seemed completely oblivious to this fact...
Sari was relieved to hear Saya ask for their names, as it meant that at least a couple people here - Sari was including the boy she'd bumped into earlier in this crowd - were polite. Sari listened to a couple introductions and was about to begin her own when the blustery boy - Rove, he said his name was - began again. Sari scowled lightly, the expression unfamiliar to her, and Rani stamped a hoof in a perfect reflection of his friend's irritation. Saya beat her to a reprisal, though. It was a good thing, because Sari may well have just let it slide. Finally, though, no one was speaking, and Sari could get a word in.
"Hello, everyone," Sari said, her soft voice carrying itself easily to the ears of all present. It was a perfect combination of the joy of a Me'an voice and the music of a Shae voice, with a lilt to it unique to Sari's home. "My name is Sari... I'm from Me'a. This is Rani - my big brother," she continued, seeming both self-assured and shy at the same time. It was a strange mix, to be sure, but one that seemed, somehow, appropriate to Sari. "It's a pleasure to meet... most of you," Sari finished, giving a small half-bow from Rani's back and a pointed look to Rove.

"Ah a fellow person from Me'a!" His intuition was right! "Sorry to have made the comments about your big brother, I greatly owe him such respects for not piling me to the ground for my stupid remarks, I am in your debt," he bowed again to her, and even lower to her brother. As he then returned his gaze to Saya.
Well a normal man would obviously take heed directly to her words, and probably just keep his yap shut, but Rhovanion was definitely not your normal man, actually he wasn't even a man, he was an elf. His eyes still twinkled vibrantly as he talked to Saya, "Well to say the very least, I guess I really know how to make an entrance don't I?" He laughed a bit, "Seems that we all got off to a little rough start mi'lady, but it is not fully my fault. I knew not what to expect, and when I seen you all here gathering around the portal, all I could think of was that everyone was here waiting for me, I mean seriously people standing around a portal all day, something had to be up. Anorad told me come here immediately, I just figured it'd be so you guys could get some rest from standing around here all day." Another laugh, more of a bellow came from him this time, "All I can say is that I deeply apologize and will next time greet with a jolly hello, instead of throwing out orders, I was just merely in need of water and other things, I would never mean to cause such animosity between fellow elves who are fighting for the same cause. Tis be bad to come off at such horrible standing, I wish that there was some way I could compensate for my poor tongue's words that I made it utter. Perchance, I could instead abide by all of your orders for the day, would that reprieve me of my hastily and wrongful actions?"
Before anyone else could get in a word, he continued on his little rant, he was quite a hot aired fellow, but perhaps it was because his people talked at a fast rate to one another, allowing for hours of debate a day. Coming from long-winded fellows was not always the best thing, but hopefully they knew of his nature, "As for the treating of you fair ladies as mere objects, tis not a noble venture and I would never do such a thing," he smiled at them hoping to plead his case further, "I was merely brought up in the old chivalrous manner to be kind to ladies, I wish not to cause any distress to any of you. If it is but your request to treat you as a fellow comrade, you would hardly see but a difference, for I treat my brethren the same way," he stopped and gave Abel a hearty hug to prove his meaning and manners. As he let go he finished his last sentence... for a while, "If that is too much for any of you, then merely tell me so, for I would never wish to disrespect any being or creature upon this earth."

Farael had been slowly making her way to the waters of Brilthor, crossing over the grassland, and keeping her eyes open for anything that might be hiding in the shadows. Leaving Arda was simple enough, she knew those woods well, and even now, the plains that she was over, she had crossed before, both upon her return to Vilya, and upon her return to Arda. Still, these plains were less familiar to her, and she knew even less about the creatures that lived there, not to mention that there were always deserters from other nations who were joining the Sindarin. They were dangerous to those that were opposed to the Sindarin's thoughts and ideas, and so Farael was expecially careful to avoid any confrontation with anyone who might look like they were traveling in the shadows.
With every league that Farael crossed and made her way closer to where the Shae lived, her heart grew heavy. She was not expecting to fit into their home either, and wondered what she had been thinking when she thought that she might be able to find someplace where she could belong. Her steps slowed until she decided to take a rest on cloud overlooking the plains, Isi circled her once and then perched gently upon her shoulder.
"Perhaps I should just return to Vilya Isi" she spoke to her companion in a sorrowful and quiet voice. "Though I am not completely accepted, it is my homeland, and I can learn to deal with them ignoring me, calling me the daughter of a traitor behind my back"
Isi nuzzled her cheek with his nose in a comforting manner and Farael smiled slightly before stroking his neck gently with one of her fingers. "I know I know" was all she replied before she finished talking entirely. She just sat looking over the land, deep in her thoughts, absently stroking Isi's neck.

Abel made to reply to Seorsa in private but was interrupted. Swiftly he was brought into an embrace by Rhovanion and his thoughts jilted with him. He wasn't comfortable being so close to another but couldn't think of any way of saying it without seeming rude so he contented himself to look at Seorsa as if to say "What in the world?" As soon as Rhovanion's well-meant hug ended, Abel ducked out of the way of any further opportunities for such contact and stole away to the other side of Seorsa. Though he resented being compared to an animal, he opened up a little to Seorsa.
"Anorad, he never really told me...where are we going, and what are we going to do?" He wasn't sure if it was Rhovanion's behavior or not but Abel wanted to make sure he knew what he was getting into. Silently, he kept his abilities to himself for he knew not if others possessed similar abilites or how he would be received if he told them he had no mastery of his own power.

Saya looked at Abel a moment, before shaking her head. "Well...I'm not really sure what we're doing either. Anorad and Alucia do not normally say much about things like this. They've sworn not to interfere with what happens in this land...only to help us along the way. I think there are going to be many...many things we will need to figure out on our own. It will be a difficult and trying journey. But....it will be for the good of Sarnon." She smiled at all of them..."For the good of the Sarnonian people. All I know now is this..." she paused, turning for a view of all over her companions. "We're in a war. A terrible...terrible war. The sindarin are the army....but someone...something...is controling them. This something or someone gave them the idea that Quenyan are better...they couldn't have thought of it themselves. And that's who we are figthing. The leader of the Sindarin. The true evil if Sarnon."

Sari listened to Saya's explination with rapt attention. Her eyes widened at the mention of a war - I haven't heard anything about that! - and she gasped softly when Saya mentioned something controlling the Quenya... It was a little bit much for Sari to digest. She'd never been a part of anything so big in her entire life, and now she was in the middle of it... Well, apparently anyway. Sari ran her fingers over the bright white handprint on her face. It was a pretty clear indicator...
"So... where are we going to start?" Sari asked after a couple of moments, her melodious voice somewhat resigned and certainly curious. It had taken her a moment or two to even try to think through everything Saya had told them, but in the end, it would come down to doing a series of smaller things. Sari was rather practical when it came to things like this. High concepts were quite lovely and all, but they didn't get things done. They had to start somewhere. Sari just hoped they could find it.

'A war?' Kaiya thought as she listened to Saya's speech. She didn't know anything about this. Everything seemed to be fine in Brilithor. She would never expected any of this. Apparently the word spreads slowly in the water.
Other than the fact that a war was going on and living beings were dying, Kaiya was excited about this journey. She will be able to have an adventure she always wanted. An adventure with a thrill and will give her an adrenaline rush. "I am so ready for this!" she smiled and pumped her fist into the air. "So what do we got to do first? Where do we have to go? What do we have to do?" Kaiya started to ask all these questions. Though she asked a question Sari had already asked, Kaiya was getting excited for this new adventure she was about to go on.

Sev's eyes narrowed at the thoughts of war. His beautiful, dark, peaceful land full of havoc and fighting. He couldn't stand to think of it. He clenched his fists and closed his eyes, leaning on the tree. His back was straight and stiff as a board, it wouldn't take a genius to figure out how much tension he was holding. He was so preoccupied in blocking out the thoughts of war, that he ended up blocking out the rest of Seorsa's speech. He opened his eyes at Sari and Kaiya's questions, finally paying good attention. He set his eyes on Seorsa, wondering if she even knew, herself, where to start. He uncrossed his arms and tried to release the tension, his arms hanging down at his sides.

It seemed like no one had paid any iota of attention to his little speech about being the lap dog. Well it was all good in his eyes, he was actually hoping they would not ask him to do it, after all, he merely said it to get them to lighten up a bit. So all was fine and well in Tarna, until the whole thing about a war was brought up. Of course Saya was not the only one who had heard about it, then again another way to look at it was that Rhovanion was not the only one who had heard about it, which actually sounded better to his ears. "War," he sighed and stepped in what seemed like the center of a stage to him, "tis never a good thing. No eyes have ever laid upon such a vile beast as it, and to actually feel the pain and sorrows of it... it would be worse than death it self which it seems to only bring." He shook his head again,
"Anorad had showed me a dream only moments ago about this war. Actually showing was an understatement, he let me be part of the war, part of the sky, feeling the arrows rip through me as they were set loose, feeling the thunderous bellows and wounds filled of rain. Now that I think about it, it must be what Anorad and Alucia must be feeling with this war that is going on, but it was only a mere taste of it. They may not want to get involved with humans, but they do want it to stop, and so I suppose we must unite despite our complications to be the ones who will stop this war." He paused letting it seep in a bit, "This war that is going on is the war of all the elves, the death toll is considerable, and it seems that no one will make it out alive, and if they do, they will merely die in another vain battle." Almost out of vile disgust he shuddered, "So he told me that I..." he looked at them, "Indeed he said, 'I', which is why I thought it was only me, but that's not the point, he said that if I denied my destiny, this war was the only thing we had to look forward to. So we must do as this fine lady has said, and go to Mara," he looked skeptical for a second wondering if he remembered her name correctly or not, but went on without a further thought to it, "and see what we must do to end this awful war."
Even though most was merely restating what some might of already known, he hoped it provided insight to others, as he noticed some seemed to not even know that this war was already manifesting. Rather he helped any or not, at least he was able to put his two cents and, and to him that was all he cared about.

For once, Rove was right in all of his monolgue. They needed to see this Mara if that was who would start them on their journey. He looked around at everyone, feeling the tension of war, but the understanding of what they had to do. Even if they didn't know exactly how to do it, they would stp this war from going any further. Of course, Sev knew about the war before, but he never thought of it destroying his peaceful land. It was now that he prayed to his birth star, Lumbar, along with Anorad and Alucia that they'd have the strength to defeat the leader of the Sindarin. Make everything peaceful again. He took a step forward, not wanting to waste anymore time that they could use to fulfill their destiny. "Well then, take us to this Mara, Seorsa," he said with an assuring smile and nod.

Seorsa nodded with a smile, stroking Stryker's thick fur. "Mara will be waiting up in the Temple. She, being the daughter of Alucia, will also not interfere too much. She will, though, be giving us items to help us along on our journey." Saya smiled again. "She is a good friend of mine, and will be very generous. So...let us begin. It is not far." She smiled one more time and turned, heading up the hill toward the temple. Stryker right by her side, as he always was.
