Shaydra chuckled, a funny stuttering sound, she was shivering so much. "A ninja, huh? Where's you're black clothes, double katana, and headband? Don't worry about me, I'm a dragon, I breathe fire." She still wore the jacket, though.
"That pool is cold. And did you hear what the ogre said? He knew your mother! They must be around here somewhere!"

"Hey!" Shaydra said, ripping off the jacket and throwing it back to Luxran. "You're not leaving me out of the action! And what concern of yours is this? We just met! It's going to be very boring here." She breathed silver fire out of her nostrils and it swirled around herself, warming her but not burning her. Then she took out her pencil and began to draw.
She quickly drew a ruby-hilted sword in the air and tapped it twice. Color crawled up the blade and the sword fell in Shaydra's wing-claw. "I may be a mage in training in my clan, but we are all taught to spar. And what if my clan is there? Wouldn't I be there to free them, as they do not know you? I'm following you. You might need me." She stared hard into Luxran's eyes.
Suddenly Shaydra jerked her head up. "I hear some noises ahead. Get this." She pressed a tiny crystal in Luxran's hands. She took out an identical one and wiggled it in front of him.
"Here's how you can contact me if we get seperated. Just squeeze this hard and you'll be able to contact me telapathically. Yours will grow warm when I contact you, so it won't scare you to death when I talk in your mind. Don't lose these, they cost me a lot of gold. Come on!" Shaydra raced ahead, dissapearing in the center path.

Shaydra ran down the right passage. The path was very long, and she had to stop several times to catch her breath. Just as she spotted a roll of paper camoflauged with magic, she got the message from Luxran.
Picking up the paper and stuffing it in her bag without bothering to read it, Shaydra sprinted down the passage while squeezing her telapathy crystal to tell Luxran, I'm coming! Wait! She skidded out of the passage and immedietely ran into the center path, which, gratefully, wasn't as long.
She came to where Luxran and the man were waiting. When she saw the man, her eyes widened, and she said joyfully with her paws out, "Roaux! I thought you were killed when they captured our clan!"
Returning her hug with a wince, as he had just been tortured, he said, "No, they just wounded me fatally. I feel so weak in human form. Luckily, I had our clan healing crystals smuggled away."
Turning to Luxran with a large smile, Shaydra said, "This is Roaux, my friend and heir to the clan position of in-clan messenger. He usually travels as human, though he is a dragon. People tend to attack dragons and intercept messages." Even as she spoke, colors swirled around Roaux and widened until he dissapeared. When the colors cleared, a blue four-legged dragon with black wings greeted Luxran. "Hello. Shaydra seems to know you. What is your name?"

((sorry that the post is long. again. sweatdrop oops, looks like I made multiple characters. You get to play your parents when they appear, though.))

Shaydra led Roaux out of the passage and into the main tunnel. "Let's see how hurt you are." Unwinding an old bandage around Roaux's paw and arm, she exclaimed, "Roaux! Your old wound has opened."
As she healed Roaux with healing crystals, Shaydra remembered something. "Where's the rest of our clan?" She asked Roaux.

"We were escaping," Roaux said sorrowfully, "And me and Gyron were the rear guards. But then this ogre found us, killed and-" Here Roaux shuddered, "and ate Gyron, and brought me to the underground guards, where they were torturing me to find out where the rest of us went. Our leader, Fyreodar - you remember him, right? - was going to send a message with me to tell you not to come after us. See?" Roaux showed Shaydra another telapathy crystal. "Are you going to get out?"

"No," Shaydra said, "I've got to help Luxran." She contacted Luxran telapathically and said, Where are you? The rest of my clan is safe. Have you found your parents?

Shaydra's eyes widened when she heard Luxran. "Come on, Roaux!" she said, pulling him by the paw into the center path.
She ran down the passage with Roaux following. She skidded to an abrupt stop when she came to a room full of bones...human and dragon alike.
Beside her, Roaux suddenly stopped and knelt beside a skeleton of dragon bones with a tattered cloak hanging on the bones. "Gyron, my brother..." he said, his eyes full of grief. Shaydra tried to pull him back up, but he stayed kneeling beside the bones of his brother. "This must be where the ogres put their food," he said quietly. "Gyron..."
"Not now!" Shaydra hissed she looked around, spotting a small archway in the side of the room. She dove in it without waiting for Roaux and immediately ducked as a onset of arrows was fired. Shaydra had not activated the trap. She heard a grunt as the volley of arrows hit something on the far wall.
"Luxran!" she said, looking at him. She quickly pulled out the arrows in his clothes and noticed two in his hands. "What happened? Do you want me to heal that?"

Shaydra snorted. "Two arrows through your hands and you say you're okay. Still, I suppose we should help, though it could be a trap." She stood up and looked around. "Roaux found the bones of his brother and he's mourning. He'll catch up to us later. Which direction did you hear this voice from?"

"Hey, wait up!" Shaydra said, loping quickly after him on all fours. "He always keeps running ahead, " she growled.

Shaydra leapt in and stopped short when she saw that Luxran had already done all that was to be done in this room. "You always do everything," Shaydra growled. Then she noticed the woman, nodded politely, and said, "Hello, My name is Shaydra Silversky. What's your n-" She glanced at the opposite entrance from where she came and yelped, leaping left.
Her yelp was cut short when Roaux came rocketing out of the entryway Shaydra had come from, bowling both of them over, straight into an ogre coming out of the oppisite end. He was knocked over, and for a moment, Shaydra's face was five inches away from his surprised, ugly face with Roaux on top of her. Then Shaydra shook Roaux off, unsheathed her sword, and sliced the ogre's neck.
Before she could look up, Roaux had leapt at another oncoming ogre, snarling, with his claws out and his teeth exposed. Roaux slammed into the monster, and his teeth found the ogre's neck.
Both dragons instantly stood up, ears swiveling. More ogres were coming out of the tunnel, too many for all of them to kill.
