i just joined. I only have one question really?
My characters always seem to be too dark or whatever, which used to be fine with me, because i was always really pissed when i was younger, but now i'm not, but everytime i make a new one, i just can't come up with a happy one, or at least someone that isn't a loner. The character development forum would be best to get some help for this right?

I have a question. I was just accepted earlier today, and i wanted to kno how to enter a RP. Do we just go up and say, "hey i wanna join" or what?

What I would do for starters is to take one of your most used characters and make a new character that is opposite that one in every way that you can. Like if they had brown eyes make the new person's blue. If they were white, make that new character black. If they had a tragic past give them a normal family. Most people want you to post a character profile first. In fact, unless you already know the other people and know that they are good players, or unless you are doing a one-on-one RP where you can tailor things more, I wouldn't join an RP that does not require a profile or does not explain how to join. When you can look at the other players' profiles you get a good idea of what level of RP they are at and how much effort you should put into your character if you decide to join.

Hello. I was accepted today and I must say I'm happy to be here. The regular Gaia Forums are quite... spammed. Anyway, My name is Nikki, but my pen name is Ice. My only question: Is there anyway I can help the guild? RPing is basically my life on Gaia and I would like to help in anyway possible. Once again, thank you for accepting me.

does it only start counting once i make a post after joining sdrp? and whys it say 0 under donations, cus ive donated 500

Thank you so much for your donation. It only counts the posts that you make in the guild. It only counts donations that you make to the guild account. I asked you to do a trade instead because the guild account money can ONLY be used for new subforums but this money can be used to run contests and stuff, too

Once again, thank you for accepting me. -Ice I agree, once we clear out the beginners RPs and the intermediate RPs it will be less cluttered here as well. The Dead Zone helps a lot with that, too. You can post suggestions for the guild at any time. If there's not a sticky like the one you posted in today then you can make your own thread. You can also visit the Questions subforum and help out there. Folchinator has a huge project he is working on which also has a sticky here.

I'm new here. I have a fair bit of experience role playing on and off for a the last four or five years. I'm also a bit of an author as well. I am keen on initiating myself into the events held by this forum. I do advise though that someone do something about the donation limitations. They should be for whatever the administrator of this forum decides is appropriate.

You are also free to hold contests and numerous other things that we have done in the past but I don't have time to run myself at this moment.
