Burying her face into Maidh's chest and clinging to him with suprisingly strong fluffy paws, Iuile sobbed into his fur. Her tears left dark streaks down his fur that would later dry, but with every mark she felt more horrible, felt worse and worse steadily. What was happening?
"N-neek..." Finally Iuile seemed to get control of herself and she pulled back from Maidh's chest slightly, paws still gripping him like he was the last thing holding her onto the earth. "Neek?"
Turning her head and peering to where her sister had flown off to, she turned back and nosed at Maidh's cheek softly, licking his fur for a moment before gesturing with her nose to where the dots of Vana and Lucia were. Her unspoken words were obvious.

"Lucia!" Vanafindon could almost swear he was catching up to her. He opened one blue eye, spotting the beloved pale stripes of her fur ahead before he had to snap his eyes closed from the vertigo. "Lucia! Beloved! Land please! Let's work it out!" Gods! But we should all be happy right now! A whimper broke out from him, hovering on the winds that carried him.
Still on the ground his twin wrapped himself best he could around the small crying beauty as her tears moistened his fur. Maidhfinden's heart was aching... who knew so soon after it was given away he could feel such things. And he did not even realize that his heart was hers! Not on a knowing level; he simply had not had that much time to think.
Gently he licked her tears away, eyes soft at Iuile's aching 'neek's as she pulled even that little bit away. Maidh nodded, managing a smile as he touched his nose to the underside of her cheek. "Follow them? Of course, Iuile! I'll fly you myself if you need me to!"
Eyes bright and shining he kissed her cheek before they took to the air. Gods, but this day would take some time to understand!

Lucia either couldn't or wouldn't hear him, still too upset with herself over what happened. She dived down into the forest and effectively disappeared into the dark foliage.

Opening her large wings, Iuile took to the air, her eyes shimmering still with tears as she flew, desperate to manage to make it. Her sister had run off so suddenly, her sister deserved to be happy just as she was. Deserved to smile just like her, deserved so much better. How could Iuile let that happen? How could she let her sister be so hurt. Was she crying like her? Was she in pain like her?
"Neeeeeeeeek!" She all but screamed into the air, she didn't know if her sister could hear her... but she had to, she just had to. "NEEK!"
Iuile could see Vana in the distance, his blue standing out against the sky, but she couldn't see Lucia anymore.

He had opened his eyes for one more look at her, simply craving to see her, or Vana might have missed that Lucia had dove into the trees. Then he was pulling his wings in, diving after her, hoping to make up some distance by streamlining. Only... he was still disoriented from his twin's blow. Vanafindon misjudged, some tin leaved branches smacking his face here, a larger branch taking him in the side there. "OOmph!! Lucia!" Hitting a much larger branch -or was that a trunk- Van toppled the rest of the way to the ground. "Lucia...! ow... "
Maidfindon flew as close to Iuile as he dared, while still being careful that they did not interrupt each other's flight patterns. He could not see Iuile's pale-furred sister anywhere and his twin... Maidh let out a roar of shock and surprise as he saw Vanafindon dive, then topple into the dark canopy of the foliage. He could hear his twin hitting branches of trees, hear what he hoped were the branches breaking and not his twin. He seemed to have forgotten all about how angry he was at what Vanafindon had said about Iuile. Checking that his mute beloved was still near him Maidh angled to enter the forest and find their siblings. "Vaaaannaaa!!"

Lucia had found a large tree where a knot in the tree was hollowed out and she burrowed herself inside, curling up into a ball to sob to herself, making her fur a bit wet.

"NEEK!" She watched him fall, she saw with her own green eyes him fall down to the ground into the forest with what sounded like shotgun shots as tree branches and possibly even BONES broke with his descent. Had that happened to Lucia too?
"N-NEEEEEEEEEEEK!"
Her scream was as loud as she could possibly make it, her anguish at seeing Maidh dive in made it even louder than before. New tears slid from her green eyes as she dove into the forest, tucking her wings into her body as she did so. It was so crowded in there, so cluttered and cramped that she couldn't help but...
CRACK!
And she was out. Somehow or other she'd caught a branch and that had been what did her in. With a heavy 'thud' her striped body hit the grass like a sack of potatoes, but she was already unconscious.

He could hear his twin call his name, but more importantly Vana heard Lucia's sobs. "Maidh! I'm okay!" Okay was relative. He had to get to Lucia. Vanafindon made his way to where she had holed herself up and shoved his head and shoulder in after her. "Lucia! Lucia! Gods! Don't cry beloved!" Tenderly Vana licked at her face, willing her to look at him. "Please, Lucia, please! We should be happy! But I can't if you're not! I can't"
Iuile's scream was heart-wrenching. Maidh heard his twin's not quite reassuring voice and was still bent on seeing if he was okay when CRACK! the sound reverberated through his head and heart and the angelic male faltered in his flight, looking back in time to see the tiny angelic female's body still in contact with the branch that had taken her out just before she fell. "Iiiuuuuiilleeeeeee!!!!"
Maidhfinden spun midair and did a u-turn around a tree as he raced to where she had fallen. "Iuile! Iuile! Wake up! Be okay! Please!" He nuzzled her gently but dared not mover her too much as he checked her small body for damage. If anything was wrong... gods! He hoped he could remember how to use the communicators and call Hemi or someone who could heal her! He'd only just found her!
With Lucia, Vana could hear his twin's anguished cry and his eyes went wide. "Dear gods... she's hurt!" It was the only thing that could cause a call like that from Maidh. Vana knew... because it was the sound his own heart would make should anything happen to Lucia.

Lucia hit at his face, yelling at him to leave her alone, still sobbing. But she froze when she heard her sisters scream and she shoved him away, yelling her sisters name and flying off to where she was.

Darkness seemed to be swarming around her, crushing in from every angle, leaving her desperate for some way to get out... some way to escape. But no... no there was no way, she was alone. She was abandoned.
"Nya?" Iuile peeped out shyly, afraid... scared. Where had everyone gone? Where was SHE? Everywhere she looked there was nothing but darkness, it was the most teriffying thing she'd ever seen.
Straining her eyes to look around, she made a face and screamed at the top of her lungs... but no one answered.
I'm alone.....

Vana fell back, out of the hollow spot feeling very hollow himself. She had hit at him. He knew she was upset. But his ears fell flat against his head and his tails curled dejectedly beneath his body as he fell aside to let her go. "Lucia..." Hot tears fell from his eyes as he padded softly after her. Ouch. Gods but he hoped he had not broken a rib on the way down...
Still it hurt much less than the dull throb of his heart at the moment. Some help you're turning out to be, Vanafinden. And now... can't even console the girl you love. Gods... let everything be okay.
Maidh was near panicking when she did not stir, stuck still in her unconsciousness. Tenderly he curled about her and put his paw to his ear. "Hello? I need help! Iuile's hurt! I don't care if you don't know who she is! She's hurt! & Vana might be hurt too! No! I don't know! At least he's probably conscious! Iuile's not!! And she's smaller & she fell a long way! Just get here! Send somebody! Somebody who can help!" He was crying... unable to respond to whatever the person on the other end of the communicator had to say. Maidhfindon tucked his head carefully around the small female, murmuring softly to her that he was there... that he would always be there, and to please, please be okay. To please come back to them. To him.
Now it was her fur... darkened by the trails of tears.

"IULIE, IULIE!!!!" she screamed, still running towards them, tears streaming down her face as she caught sight of Maidh curled around her sister.

Still alone, Iuile tried to find a way out of her predicament. Was it possible that maybe there was some sort of 'hole' around here that would get her back to her sister and the male she'd come to love?
Paws trembling, she searched all through the darkness, searching for some proof that there was a way... some way for her to... was it possible?
"....le!"
"Iuile!"
Her name? That was her name! Someone was calling to her.
Twisting her whole body in that direction she ran, ran as fast as her paws could carry her and yet faster still. Somebody remembered her, someone knew she was here! They wanted her, they were trying to save her!
"N-nya!"
Her paws snapped out in front of her, clinging onto one of Maidh's wings as she finally managed to break out of her unconscious state. Head throbbing and eyes solid black from her obvious concussion, she grabbed him around the neck and screamed once more. He'd wanted her... he'd called her back.
Wait.... Lucia! That's what she'd come here for. Pulling away from him and standing on all fours in the most wobbily way anyone had probably seen, Iuile blinked her eyes and tried to orient herself enough to find her sister. She'd been crying and hurt, she had to find her. Had to make her understand.

"Iuile!" Blue eyes sparkled with worried happiness as she came to; happy that she woke & clung to his wing, worried at the appearance of her eyes. Then she moved. Worry overcame all else within Maidhfindon. "ah gods, Iuile! Don't move! You shouldn't be moving!" Pleading eyes shot to Lucia. "She had to come after you... tell her it's alright? That she shouldn't move? Or maybe tell her why you went away... and she'll be still..." As he spoke he stood, moving to hold Iuile up while afraid that if he pulled her back down it would be worse for her. Gently he nudged her to return to a sitting position. "Iuile... don't move around.. please? Help will be here soon."
Vanafinden padded slowly behind Lucia, wincing with every other step he took as his side pinched. He caught his more vocal twin asking Lucia to tell her sister why she had flown. "Lucia..." I want to know too. I think I know... but gods beloved! I want to be sure!

Lucia skidded to a stop in front of the two, but right now, all she could focus on was her sister, Vana and Maidh 'gone' from her for the time being. She cried softly as she gently took her sister into her arms and wrapped her wings around her, whimpering how sorry she was and hoping she would forgive her.
