Banalina bit her lip, debating on whether to bring it up or not. Squeezing her eyes tightly, she got up the courage to ask.
"Tarik I think theres something...um..." She fumbled for the words " There's something...inside of you..." she said, feeling rather embarassed. She traced imaginative shapes on the side of his chest with a smooth fingure. I hope he does not become enraged with me.. she thought.

Tarik watched her. When she mentioned something inside him, he then placed his own hand on his chest. He felt the beating as well. "That's my heart." He stated calmly. There was no rage or anger in his deep voice, only care. "I believe you have one as well, just like everyone." He smiled at her. It was gentle, kind smile. Though at the same time he tapped a spot on her chest, it was above her bust and jsut below her shoulder on the left side. Telling here it was there. Then retreating his hand to his side. When he did that, he made sure to tap the correct spot, but not an awkward spot.
As she traced shapes on his chest Tarik jsut watched her fingered with his soft emerald eyes. He wasn't going to pull away, that would be rude, plus he didn't mind it at all. Though, at times it almost tickled as the snow white and ebony black cervitaur moved her soft finger across his skin.
((Aka, he didn't touch her breast. That would be weird, and he knows it.)))

Placing a hand to where he touched, she felt the same sensation. Gasping, she became intrigued. "Oh..that's so odd. It's almost like...footsteps." she stated, feeling proud of her comparison. With a sigh she tried to flatter him "Oh Tarik, you are so smart. I wish I could be so knowledgeable as you.." Listening to his heart, she smiled, enjoying the sound of it, and the vibrations of his voice.

Tarik smiled at her a unusly shine was in his eyes. "Thanks. I guess I've learned from what I've been told and taught." He replied. His voice kept it's gentle tone mixed in it. He took his other hand and moved one curl away from Banalina's eyes and then brought it back to his side.
He was enjoying this night fully and it was a double that he ran into Banalina. He was glad to see her again. Also it was amazing how much she'd grown from the last time he remembered seeing her. Now she was more, woman-like as Vena quoted what Tawa said.

"No one has ever taught me..I have not been given the luxury of knowledge.." she said, in a almost pained tone. The brush of his hand against her face made warmth trail with it, causing her to tingle inside. "Tarik.." she mumbled quietly, not really hoping him to hear. His kindness to her made her feel a little bad for flirting with him.
Looking to the lake, she noticed a small ripple, and a disterbance of the water from underneath. Curious as she was, her eyes planted on it immideatly.(sp)Her ears perked up quickly, wanting to pursue it.
Sadly, Banalina had a short attention spand, and began to move from Tariks' embrace, closer to the lake. Her slender legs paced carefully.

Tairk looekd at her his eyes showed her kindness and concern, "That's not good. Everyone deserved knowledge, everyone deserves to learn." He said to her in a firm, but gentle voice.
When Banalina looked towards the lake and perked her ears, Tarik couldn't help but do teh same and see what had caught her attnetion so quickly. AS she left his embrace he didn't mind, but he walked alongside her as she headed towards the lake. He looked at her foir a split second his emerald gaze wondering what she thought, then turning back to the lake where she looked wodnering what could be there.

Her ears moving this way and that, Banalina had full focus on the ripple. Reaching to the lake's lip, she placed a hoof hesitently into the water. It was cool, thankfully not cold. Taking another step into the water, she went as carefully as she could so as not to frighten what ever it was that made the ripple. Leaning a little closer to see, Banalina saw some sort of long figure stationary in the water. Only it's backside seemed to be waving side to side.

Tarik's ears moved as well to try and figure out what the thing in the water was. He came to the water's edge as well. Placing a hoof hesitently in he felt the refreshing cool water. Slowly and carefully he came to her side. Leaning slightly he saw the same creature in the water as Banalina did. "What do you think that is?" He asked her quietly.
The cool water seemed to ripple some more as the creature below moved. The wated was up to porbably an inch. below Tarik's stomach. His emerald gaze never leaving the creature that was half seen under the water. THough a few times his gaze shifted to Banalina to make sure she was ok.

Reaching her hand to touch it, the shadow wriggled. Snatching her hand back, she gasped, stumbling back a little. "It is slimey.." she said, shocked. The creature wriggled off farther into the lake. Regaining her composer, Banalina stared at her slimed hand. "Oh..I suppose it was angry with me." she said, a frown on her face.
Lifting a hoof out of the water, she became annoyed from being wet. Trotting out of the water, she looked back to Tarik. "Tarik. What do you like to do? What brought you here in the first place?"

Tarik stood there slightly shocked when Banalina pulled her hand back. He looked at her slimed hand with question, but didn't ask any. "I think you're right." He replied.
As Banalina turned to head out of hte lake Tarik did the same. His ears perked as her chiming voice reached his ears. "Well, I like walking through the forest, exploring, meeting new taur, and being with nature." there was a pause, "And learning." He added last, knowing it to be true. He smiled at her, "Walking and exploring brought me here, that and hunting." He told her. His deep voice ringing through the air towards Banalina's ears.
