Was the old man floating? He couldn't have been, because if he was, the shadows would have enveloped both persons in a heart beat to let the blades go directly towards the source of each man. The mere blink in perception didn't include any perspective from the arena's air movement, because if there was a transference to be in that state, then the man would have to teleport to not be notice by the prowess that Genshin was using. These shadows act almost onto their own accord partially like a separate being, but at the same time a part of Genshin. So, fooling them, would only work if the man wasn't even within this plane of existence.

But then, Genshin smirks as he slams his fist directly at the bottom of the ring as it begins to suddenly collapse from the shadows crushing the ring entirely.

The problem with tracking air movement was that there happened to be several hundred cards dancing through the air. Included with the fact that all perception seemed to ignore him for a moment, even perception that did not come from Genshin in any way, it was impossible to determine which man was the genuine article. With both now advancing on Genshin with their partially built shells of cards they would simply take one step and quite obviously be walking on air. Any shadows converging on them would meet with cards and be blocked from contacting him while they floated towards their opponent.

Genshin thought, and noticed that the ring starting to collapse didn't collapse completely as the entities weren't even on the ring at all. So, Genshin does the unthinkable and walks directly towards both men and says to them, "Hit me."

Between the shifting cards of their respective spheres the two men looked towards Genshin with quirked brows. They briefly examined the apparent feat of walking on air as performed by Genshin before lifting their gaze to him, the spheres pulling back to reveal most of their bodies. Each would advance forward and attack, the one on Genshin's right aiming a kick at his side below the ribs and the one on his left aiming a punch towards Genshin's face, left arm kept tucked close to his body. For reference, again, both were not illusions in any way, but there would not be as much force behind the strikes as there would be otherwise for a man of his size and build.

It didn't matter that the forces behind each movement for the punch and the kick heading directly towards Genshin, but this was the sheer fact that both of them now would notice why Genshin likes fighting so much and no need for words to be given at all.

Genshin's right arm goes to wrap directly around the leg that aimed to kick at his ribs. It wrapped due to the fact that the kick hits directly at his ribcage, and Genshin's arm holds firmly to keep a grip upon the man. At the same time, the left palm meets with the fist of the other to have a firm hold.

"Come on... quit trying to hit me... and HIT ME!"

Each of the two float there, heads hung low, "It seems as though you are superior in terms of melee combat. Should I simply concede?" Each of them would be trying to pull away from Genshin's grip, but with no luck, the cards they had accumulated dancing around rather randomly.

"I know you're not giving up..." His eyes didn't move, but his perspective did notice the continuous amount of cards that had developed. His grip became tighter as if to crush mountains in his bare hand, but why would he had such a grip? Simple... one of them would feel immense pain than the other, yes, they're not illusion, but it's only a matter of time that the real one will show itself.

Both of them men stare at Genshin as the sound of crumpling paper fills the air and they look to the bits of them being crushed, "How random!" It was at this point that the large number of cards would seal the three within a sphere and a maelstrom of cards would begin to swirl inside, perfect for a good slice-and-dice blender.

The cards seem to suddenly stop in motion right when they reach Genshin's body, but yet his body wasn't really being visible at this time. The sliding occurrence that happened before with the cards happen again but this time, the shadows were guiding the cards back toward their respective owners, to inflict the slicing dicing upon their behalf. The shadows covered Genshin's body, and since his hands are directly upon both persons, that's when they reacted like a symbiote to bond with the new bodies...

Something is bound to happen now.

Oh, something did indeed happen, but it was hardly what Genshin might expect, or maybe he would, who knows? Each of the many cards slide into the bodies of their new targets, rejoining with that which had expelled them. Those portions being gripped by Genshin crumpled away to nothing and left the two men standing rather nonchalantly as they blinked and their limbs were repaired. The sphere of cards began to roll away with the two men inside it, cause fights inside rolling objects are much more fun than stationary objects.

But with the movement of the spheres, Genshin seemed to be stationary within the object itself, that's if... he was in it. The tentacle-like shadows continue to go around both bodies even though they crumbled, they continued to envelope both men. Genshin merely smirked toward them with a great intensity to see how his shadow would do.

Those bits of shadow that might still be attached to the two would be quarantined inside small cages of their own. These cages, some even grown from the two men themselves, sealed up and launched off somewhere out of the way. This would leave Argus rather pristine, a soft glow beginning to emanate from each of the many many cards. He was obviously doing something, but it was as yet unclear as the sphere lifted off the ground.

Cages wouldn't conquer them due to their enveloping nature of the bodies, and the continuous wrapping of the entire bodies ensue Argus to notice a difference of what the shadows were really doing. Then, Genshin grins as his right hand seems to stab forward directly towards the left image while the left spins around in a back-fisting motion towards the right at the head to knock them both into the sphere itself. The burning sensation of the prowess was going to be noticed by Argus from the shadows intent.

The two would slide through the shell, any shadow still touching them left behind on the shell on the inside. There would be nothing left to feel, all magical events long since halted with the old man now relying on racial capabilities. The sphere itself was now bouncing around the upper floors of nearby buildings, the two men of cards walking along the outside as the rest continued to multiply inside. The question now was whether or not the sphere was actually growing smaller, or if something else was causing the inner diameter to shrink.

Then suddenly, with a great stab of the blade PAIN, there'd be a destructive force towards the sphere itself. And noticeably, this wouldn't be any form of magic, but pure raw power from Genshin's mere thrust.

"HAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHA" The roar of laughter ensued.
