"Well, DUH!" Erylia called out from the calender. He chuckled and proceeded to put away the jelly. "Yes, I do have a girlfriend. And two beautiful daughters. You should meet Adora sometime, she takes after me the most." He grinned "Kind of cute."

He nodded in understanding. "What's your girlfriend's name? I don't have a girlfriend but Mommy says I don't need one." Having a girlfriend was different for children, after all. It was just what they called each other in mutual but superficial affection. They had no knowledge of what the term meant later on in life.

"Trust me, you shall need one, one day. But not today, and not tomarrow." He spun around in almost a dance. "And its the most beautiful feminine name ever. Just thinking about it warms my heart, though it rolls so easily off the tongue. They call her sunny." Tristen picked up two plates of sandwiches, handing them to the children with a wink "Sunny Jones." She rolled her eyes, putting down the calender in favor of the PP and J.

"Sunny kinda sounds like a boy's name." He shrugged, looking at him innocently. Hyacinthus was never a good liar. "Sorry. Is she pretty?" He thanked him for the sandwich, careful as he ate because someone had told him that it was easy for small children to choke on peanut butter. He was always a conscientious eater.

"You have very odd tastes in names then." He grinned and stepped back to reach over their heads and took out three glasses. "She is as beautiful as any other female I have laid eyes on. Long purple hair, flawless pale skin...you can't really miss her. She's one of the few pae that wear clothes." Tristen walked to the refrigerator. "All in all...ick. Completely gaa gaa over her." Erylia shook her head and took a bite. "Mmmm....yum!" She grinned

He smiled at Erylia. "He sounds like--" He stopped himself. His parents still weren't certain how they'd be received by everyone else. While they weren't too worried about the other pae'il, the guardians were another thing....

"Mmm? Sounds like what?" She crossed her legs on the counter and took another bite of sandwich. Tristen slowly poured three glasses of milk before putting the jug away, oblivious to everything as he hummed a little tune to himself.

While he wasn't normally a good liar, he knew when he had to protect his parents. "Um...nevermind." His parents hadn't told him what he was supposed to tell people yet about them. With luck, he wouldn't have to pretend that he had a father. Neither of them looked very boyish for that. "What's your mommy like?"

Bbbbbblllllliiiinnnnkkkkk. The female shook her head. "You're no fun." She took another bite of her sandwich. "N mine? Tall. weird...runs away every 2 weeks." She shrugged. "Moms an odd one. But we love her anyway." He held out two glasses of milk to them. What went better with PP and J?

While he didn't like the comment about being no fun, he wanted to protect his parents. "Do you have a daddy?" Hyacinthus smiled to see the milk that Tristen offered him. "Thank you." The milk was rich just the way he liked it, and the milk would loosen up any peanut butter that stuck to the roof of his mouth.

She shook her head, taking a long pull on the milk Tristen had gotten. "Nope, no daddy." He shrugged. "Our eldest brother Raken is sorta like a father figure, though we like to tease and call him Mommy Raken." Tristen grinned and finally picked up his sandwitch, happily biting into it.

"Oh." He looked at his sandwich, thinking over all this news information. "Why no daddy?" It seemed like a logical question. He knew why he didn't have one, but he didn't know why others might not. And really, it was a good question.

She shrugged. "I unno. Ma is ma." Tristen sighed, looking at the pink male. "Because Mom...Tartara...adopted us all. She's not origionally from the island, having come origionally to be tricked into getting Raken. And she is single so...no father." The love fae took a sip of his milk.

"Oh, I see." He took a few gulps of milk but coughed when it went down the wrong pipe. Gah, he couldn't breathe! He coughed and coughed until he could breathe again, whimpering a little because his throat her now. "C-can I have some water?" he asked pitifully.

eek He quickly got out a new cup and filled it up with water, moving over to the boy and handing it over to him. Erylia snickered slightly. "Can't even keep his milk down." She whispered to herself
