"Huge," Ianthe replied. "Very huge, at least by Modi standards. Probably as tall as one of those trees in the forest we jsut left, and jsut as long. But I don't really know how to describe it. You'll see it whe nwe get there."
Another leap; they were on another one of the outlying islands.

Nyx made an 'O' shap with her mouth and then continued following behind Ianthe. A tree? What was a tree? If it was a thing in the forest then it was a reacher, ground-hugger, or plant spike as she told Ianne before. Well if it was big it was a reacher. Ground-huggers and plant-spikes weren't big. But just in case Nyx asked. "Do you mean a reacher? Wait.. I mean... Is what you call a tree a reacher?"

"Yes. A tree is a reacher. And then...what you call a ground-hugger is a bush. And a plant spike is a thorn," Ianthe explained.
"And here we are! The main island!"

"Oh i came up with those names by myself since I didn't know what they were called." Nyx chuckled a bit embarrassed. "But thank for explaining that to me." The burgedy and white modi happy someone could correct her mistakes. She smiled at Ianthe.
Hearing what the ocean-colored modi said, Nyx looked around the island. "Wow it's beautiful here!"

Ianthe nodded and walked up next to Nyx. "Anytime," she said softly.
She looked around the island, examining the treeline in front of them. On the other side, lay the best feature of all.
"Yes. Beautiful," she replied, looking at Nyx, not really referring to the island.

Nyx blushed a little, happy that someone cared. No one had spoken to her in a long while, it was good to have communication again.
Hearing Ianthe say beautiful she turned her head to look at what Ianthe was looking at. FInding Iante looking at her, her face flushed red. "Me.... beautiful?.... Never, I'm... not that pretty."

Nyx flushed more. "Thanks..." She smiled brightly at Ianthe, feeling all warm inside. "Your beautiful too, don't forget. You ocean-colored fur and your blue-gray eyes liek the calm before the storm." She stopped for a moment. "Sorry if that was corny. I like similies." Nyx smiled again.

"Oh, believe me...I'm not going anywhere," Ianthe said affectionately. She headed towards the wreck, making sure Nyx was with her.
Had she really found the fox she loved so quickly? Ianthe glanced over at Nyx. Yes. She was pretty sure she had.

Nyx followed her beautiful compainion. She was happy. Happy that she found someone who not just cared for her but, loved her. She didn't think she'd find Someone who liked her so quick. But she did. Nyx smiled brightly again and watched her sweet lead the way.

Suddenly, the looming silhouette of the ship apppeared in front of her. "That," she said quietly to Nyx, "is a ship."

"It is," Ianthe answered. "That's why we know it's old. Humans don't make ships out of wood anymore."
She ehaded closer to the ship. "You can come up, if you want."
She leaped up onto the deck, doing her routine damage inspection.
