but idk i mean I don't think Ville would EVER leave the band considering he does write the lyrics and sings them...
Villie is H.I.M mad d
and NO ONE who could take his place would EVER aound nearly as good as H.I.M

If I should die before I wake, o.o; The idea scares me.
But if he did leave, I'd likely be a large fan of whatever project he went on to do, and I may like the remainder of HIM, provided they make lyrics that are on the same level as Ville (Or at least ones I like.) and manage to get a decent singer.
But Valo will still own them in whatever he does. xd
They're good. But he makes it complete. Pray no one my soul to take...

Valo isHIM.
He writes all the music and lyrics, so the band would split up, rather than him leave. i agree to an extent. though, i do believe that the band holds their own and mr.Valo isnt the ONLY one that makes the band. i think that if the band did go through a major change like that it would be difficult, but not entirly impossible, to find a singer who would compete with or match Mr.Valo's style in singing. i would have to hear the material to determine if it's any good and then decide if i would listen to the bands new material. but i think that the band is holding strong and IF Mr.Valo were to leave the rest of the band would either disperce or put an end to their musical career. and another thing, it is not entirely impossible for Mr. Valo to consider leaving the music scene because im not sure if many of you know this, but he is prone to mental break downs and nervous attacks when the release of an album comes about and he's finding it more and more difficult to deal with the stress, though he says that the reward of the fan's reactions to the new material makes it well worth it. i have faith in HIM, though i must admit i don't think it's very good for someone's health to be stressing like that confused I totally agree with you. Poor Ville is very prone to a nervous brekdown at any moment in time.

Ville's voice makes HIM
Unless they could get someone who sounded like him, I don't think they'd have the same fan base.
Lets just pray that that never happens.

Personally I think that bands can bounce back if they loose a vocalist, but as Ville writes the lyrics, the band would have an entirely new direction.
Maybe they could do what Nivarna did and re create the band under a new name, but with the other HIM members?

If your in this guild and that thought doesn't magorly scare you, you shouldn't be here. lol, personal opinion.
I don't know. I'd be like the girlin Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, I'd cry I'd scream, I'd be gothic and depressed for a week or maybe a month. I don't think I could handle if that happens, there my fave band since I was little and listened to country. They get me through the bad days. Vallo's musical voice and the bands great playing, it was just ment to be.

well i thinkg that if ville was gone it just wouldn't be HIM at all i mean it's his lyrics and his voice that really makes them who they are . but if he left i would be sad and hold on to the songs and memories i have of them .....i wouldn't listen.. crying

I like Ville's voice and I don't think I would really like them that much if their singer got replaced. I'd have to listen to the new stuff to really see if I like them just like or love them.

i probably would but they would no longer be one of my fav bands.......the reason i like that band is cause of the lyrical content and cause of how amazing villes voice is

I would probably sob if that were ever to happen...but I listen to H.I.M for the music, the lyrics, and the meaning behind the lyrics. I would continue to listen to H.I.M as long as the rest of the music stayed the same (though that is HIGHLY unlikely to happen since Ville writes a majority of the music)

Well Since Ville Writes pretty well all the Lyrics and Music (like That_Blonde_Juggalette said) HIM would no longer be HIM. i'm not in anyway saying the other guys couldn't do it, its just Ville has something i believe no one could ever bring to the band. If Ville Did Leave a part of me would die, His Lyrics mean so much to me...
