Muirgen nodded. "That much is obvious." She took a step back, her heavy robe swaying ever so slightly with the movement. "Well then, I suppose I'd best show you the way out." She glared around at stuents who were staring and snapped, "Mind your classes!"

She gripped Ronin's shoulder and wheeled him around. With a gesture for him to follow, she began the trek back to the main entrance (he couldn't have made it in any of the other doors). Vaguely, she wondered how he managed to wander this far into the Temple without someone stopping him. In fact, greeting droids and a number of receptionists should have seen him walk in...

She'd have to have a word with the staff. Right now, however, she was busy.

His face lit up in epiphany. Hands-on experience? That could only possibly mean one thing. Unless she was just being cruel. No, he knew this Jedi. She was more aggressive than most instructors, one of the reasons she was his favorite, but she was far from malicious. Every second spent waiting for news was an eternity of agony strung on a line and pulled apart. Was h really to receive Luctja as a master? It would have made all the practice and training and putting up with the jibes of the other initiates worth the effort. He looked up, not very far though, to the Jedi. "Are you going to take me as a padawan?" He blurted out the question unexpectedly, suddenly unable to tolerate the suspence. He calmed himself. A jedi knows patience.

Sentas took her time heading to the temple. True she had made it on planet with out a hitch but she was still worried about the possibility some local security team might pick up on her. True to her word her mothers fake i.d and transmitter codes had placed her ship under the possession of a "Veria Tonks" from Kuat.

With military bearing she walked through the front doors and headed to the nearest droid trying not to marvel at the transparasteel that showed passing hovercars and taxis in the busy Coruscanti skyways. Debating whether to try accessing the temple meeting schedule Sentas asked a security droid for a list of masters currently in the temple.

Elladan's day after that was pretty straight-forward. His clothes were exchanged for the Jedi tunic and stashed away in what would be his room, along with his luggage.

He was informed his ship would be sent to the hangar, and that he could have access to it whenever, so long as it didn't interfere with training, and he could fly it when he became an Apprentice.

His first lesson was a standard lightsaber training opp. They had him perform some very rudimentary training techniques, not requiring much force, and he proved his formidable knowledge of dueling in a slow, acceptable manner.

An hour later, he was sent to eat lunch, then to a Jedi Instructor for some Force training. His first lesson was more on an introduction into being a Jedi, and learning the morals of the code. Kenet listened intently, trying his best to master this knowledge so he could become a Jedi.

By the time he was done there, he was sent off to dinner, and then bed.

Ronin followed as he stared at this jedi's robe flapping as she walked "you're a jedi, right?? how might i become one. is there a form to fill out or something?" he asked as he followed in dispear.

"or is there a test of somesort?" he asked right after his first question.

Apparently the temple was suffering from a lack of Jedi knights and masters so Sentas resolved her self to a long wait. She grimaced at a young man's pathetic determination to follow a master who had clearly dismissed him. He clearly didn't know how to listen to a superior. Trying to block out the noise Sentas walked to the closest thing that looked like a 'welcome desk'.

Hello I'm Kiran Prewett and I'd like to have my midichlorean count taken for evaluation."

Sentas politely asked the flustered and overworked assistant. The fake name she would keep till she actually spoke to the jedi. if she was refused she didn't want to leave her name on the records.

Talon left his room and headed back into the temple. He looked around and saw many rooms, corridors and hallways. He didn't know where to go. He stared blankly, and looked around.

Muirgen frowned at Ronin's questions. "Jedi are not fools, Boy, as you have shown yourself to be." She turned to look at him, "But if you can somehow find yourself the answers to your questions, and act appropriately, perhaps your skills will not be wasted." She did not approve of this boy, and heartily doubted anyone would take him on as a student.

But that would be his challenge. She dropped him off at the door with such advice, and resumed her route to the Council chambers, her speed nearly doubled this time. She disliked being late for meetings.

When she arrived, she nodded to Luctja, who in return smiled knowingly. "You are prepared, I trust?" she asked, her weathered face firm.

"Of course," Luctja answered.

Muirgen nodded again, and led the two into the council Chambers.

The chamber was large, circular, and elaborate. Simply walking inside was always enough to take Luctja's breath away, and even Muirgen, who spent most of her days here now, enjoyed the fresh feeling of the Force washing over her mind. Master Muirgen took her seat between another human (he was even older and more firm-looking than Muirgen) and a Twi'lek.

Luctja bowed to the council, and it was the Twi'lek who spoke first.

"Good day to you, Jedi Knight Luctja," he nodded to her, then looked to Connor: "Padawan Socott." He leaned back in his cushioned chair, hands folded in his robed lap and eyes unblinking as he regarded the two.

"Knight Luctja, you requested this padawanship two months ago this very day. The council has deliberated, and shall grant it, pending the boy's acceptance." The alien's gaze again rested on Connor. "Padawan Socott, do you accept the apprenticeship to Knight Luctja, in which you shall follow her example, learn her mistakes, and advance to Knightship?"

"ok.. not to act as a 'fool'. but to act like a jedi, that means to act logical and meaningful. i wonder if there is a place here that i might be able to study up on the jedi themselves." He told himself as he watched the jedi female walk away. "someway to not only prepare myself, but to gain knowledge that i myself do not know. since jedi protect, then i must learn a way to defend myself and protect others. once i have done this, i might be able to join and become a jedi myself."

walking out of a shuttle Jake was in awe of the Jedi temple. He walked up the stairs to find many Jedi in their robes with their lightsabers at their sides. Jake stood there thinking about how great it would be to be a jedi.
Jake walked through the hall learning where everything is. He walked into a room with chair in a half moon. He walked out and walked through halls again until he found His own room. He layed on his bed took out a database, and drew a map.

Hours later Jake stood put and walked down to the mess hall. Jake looked over and saw there was nothing left for him to eat. "guess I am going to bed without dinner" Jake said to himself and walked to the hallway, where Jake was stopped by a tapping on his shoulder. Jake turned around to find a young woman with long red hair and sage color eyes. "Hi i'm Jake" He said as he offered his hand for a shake. "Hello my name is Rachel" she said as she shook jake's hand. After a few minutes of talking we said our goodbyes and walked down the hall. Jake walked through the door and fell asleep

Talon just walked around, looking for rooms of interest. Places where he could occupy himself and do other things.

After several days of training, Elladan was ready to move beyond the initial stages of being an Initiate, and join the other master-less initiates in their Jedi Training.

It was fairly obvious to the Jedi where Elladan's talents lie. Based on tests he'd taken, he was a much better pilot than anything else non-Force related. Force in mind, the skill he picked up the most on was the simple Affect Mind skill, which is quick wit exploited easily.

In the end, it was predicted that after his training, he'd serve as a Jedi Consular, most proficient in the Force-aspects of the Jedi.

Jake awoke the next day to start his first day of training. He walked into a room where we was given a brown robe and a training saber. When he ignited it the blue crystal glowed like the deep ocean of Manaan, where Jake lived for three years before he joined the Jedi. He sat down beside everyone else, sitting in a seat by Rachel, at a long black table.

"Jake...Steve...Dual each other" the teacher said. Jake stood up and walked into a small area where a force field activated. Jake grabed the lightsaber which hung at his waist, and ignited it. Steve had already turned his green lightsaber and sung wildly at him. Jake blocked at of his attackes and sung once at him and hit him. The class was over and Jake walked out and headed to the mess hall.

Jake walked into the mess hall, took his rations, and walked back to his room. On his way there he was stopped by Steve who wanted a rematch. "anytime anywhere" Jake said confident. "Midnight at the hanger bay." Steve said angerly. Jake walked to his room and sat at a small desk that was in a corner. After he was done eating he took the dish back to the mess hall and walked out. While he was walking A jedi master came up to him and said "you need to make a lightsaber right now." Jake followed him to a wide room full of parts for making a lightsaber. An hour later Jake had most of his lightsaber done but the crystal. Jake walked over to a table and picked a light blue crystal. He turned the lightsaber on and saw that the blue matched his eyes and the ocean of Manaan. Jake took his newly construted lightsaber and walked out, but the master stopped him and said "you shall be my new padawan." Jake walked out with a sense of pride.

Under the only remaining specimen of Alderaan Flora left in the Galaxy, Quel-Drin sat, not meditating, but simply enjoying the peace within the Temple's garden. Surprising, this was one of the few places on the entire planet were the bustling noise of the city was actually silenced. With the sun beating down overhead, shadowed only momentarily by the scattered clouds, it was truely a tranquil place to relax.

Something needs to be done about this...

The Jedi Master was pondering over the state of the Temple. More specifically, the Jedi within it. Without a large threat to the stability of the Republic, missions of the members of the Temple were limited to trivial planetary disputes which, for the most part, could easily be handled by a Republic diplomat, and were almost insulting to require a Jedi's help. It was not that Quel-Drin wanted war, far from it. Galactic peace was perfect. However, the lack of disturbances was leaving the younger Jedi with little experience, limiting them to tidious simulations and training rituals.

On the other hand, it is such a nice day.

Chuckling slightly and letting out a deep sigh, Quel-Drin lay back on the grass next to the flora, watching the plant's pink leaves glow in the sun. Worry about the matter would not do anyone any good. It's not like the Republic was in a state of crisis. For now, perhaps the best course for the Jedi was to simply do what they could, until a real solution could be found. Really, he should be inside the Temple, assisting the trainees, but he was enjoying the quiet so much, he just could not move.
