Raum followed silently behind her, looking at random things as if he wasn't paying attention to her at all, but his eyes never failed to glance at her to make sure she wasnt far ahead. when she spoke, his ears perked though he was still looking at what was around them. " couldn't say i have." giving a snort, he knew they should be there any moment now because he could hear the rushing water.

Sierra paused and looked back at him with a smile. "I have always loved this place... I come here often." She said, her amber eyes sparkled as the sun shifted through the trees.
The sound of the water was like thunder as it tore through its age old passage way. Sierra pushed past the last of the trees and made her way down a small winding path. The dirt path gave way to moss and rock and mist seemed to hover above the low landing areas.
Finally the forest seemed to melt away and the area was an open medow. The waterfall was easily 100 feet high into the air, the white water dripped down the sides in thuderous waves. Mist clung to the bottom of the water fall and diamons from the crystal water flew into the air and sparkled with all the colors of the rainbow only to land in the deep pool below.
"Its so wonderful here."

Raum raised a brow as she commented how she loved this area and always came often. god why was she tellign him that and keepign his company!? it mad ehim wanna bang his head to figure it out. never had a mare acted this way with him and all the others he met where ether shy which made it easy to drive them of, or aggressive back which pissed him off worse. as he came up from behind her throughthe trees, he was surpised that she was definatly right that it was a wonderful place. too bad he was jsut a little punk smartass. " i guess it is."

Sierra chuckled softly and shruged her shoulders. "well if its not something thats interesting to you, You can leave if you like." The mare moved to the shoreline of the deep pool and looked down to the glittering stones below.
The water was so clear that beyond her reflection she could see the bottom and the occasional colorful fish that would swim past. She smiled into the water and dipped her head low to take a drink. The icy crystal water was just what she had needed after that delightful play.

Raum wrinkled his nose and moved to the other side away from her. " no i think i will stay right over here." givign a small snort, he glanced about the area before moving closer to the water. lookign back at Seirra right quick, he didnt need her sneeking up on him if she was gonna try anything again. once he knew she was stayign where she was he lowered his head and took a nice long drink.

"As you wish Raum." She said raising her head from the water for a moment to look over at him. She smirked to herself. "You really should liven up a little you know? Life isnt as bad as you make it to be." She lowered her head back down to the water.
The rocks where slippery with alge where she stood as she adjusted her balance to try and reach the cold water once more. Her hooves where having a hard time keeping her steady on the roud slippery rocks. All at once her weight seemed to shift and she tried to move her legs to sure ground but each one buckled and spun like the last.
Skating on the wet rocks she had no chance and the mare splashed into the water, under the churning waves of the waterfall. A little whinny was the only sound she made before the water over took her lungs.

Raum was about to make a smart a** remark, when he saw her slipping about but catchign herself. he was about to tell her to be careful when she slipped and splashed into the water under the waterfall. " crap..........." his eyes where wide in shock and he scrambled to where she once was when she never came up again. what the hell was he to do? he couldn''t jsut leave her drowning could he? no, he was forced now to save her weather he liked it or not since it wouldnt sit well if she drowned with him standign there able to do something. lanchign himself into the water, he now attempted to find her and drag her out which was not gonna be easy.

As the water churned slowly a brown figure could be seen in and out of the waves, and every now and then a flash of ebony or cream. The waterfall beat down on her and she was lost under the waves again.
The water battered her and pushed her down stream, she managed to use her legs to kick away from most of the big rocks that could break ribs or worse. Her lungs burned for air but there was none to be had, already full of fluid from her last frantic glup for life she was going to have to reach the surface and soon.
Turned over by the waves the mare saw for a moment the shimmering light of the sun, the surface. She shook her head and did her best to swim towards the light as the water continued to push her down, her lungs ached and the light above her began to dim.

Damn her was all he was thinkign in his mind the whole time he had tryed to get her out though in the end she managed to get out on her own or so he thought when he couldnt see her. his lungs where screamign for air adn when he finaly came up jsut barely, he had a pissed off face and was breathign heavely. where the hell did she go!? goign back down he tryed to get hiself right under her to push her up.

The world was going dark and fuzzy, the pain in her chest was a dull thud now as tiny bubble excaped her as the last of her breath exploded from her.
She was barely aware of a force pressing up on her and then all at once the world exploded. Sound was all around her and the sun was unbarably bright. Her lungs ached as she coughed up water only to watch lazily as it splashed on the shoreline. She was aware she was safe, and that Raum was beside her, after that her mind went to blackness.

Raum was shoaking wet, coaghing and breathly heavely. FINALY he could breath and he was so damn tired from geting her out fo the water at this moment he didnt care he was next to her. " mares are a damn pain." was all he mumbled to himself as he got up with a groan. now staring down at her, he wondered if she was alright. moving closer to her he nudged her shoulder a few times. " hey you alright Sierra?"

Sierra let out a small groan as he nudged her again. Her head was pounding, her lungs burned and her body ached from the force of swimming against the water. Slowly her amber eyes opened and she squinted against the bright sunlight to the shadow over her. "Raum?" She croaked as she tried to raise her head. "Thank you...."

Raum let out a small sigh, atlest she was alive. now he didnt have to worry about having her die on him because he didnt do anything when he could have. his own boby ached from having to save her, but he ignored it and stayed standing. " good your alive. but now im gonna have to watch you til you can get up now don't i?" he moved away and shook himself to get rid of the water. " also you better get to a dry place once you can move or your gonna get sick." grunting, he looked away since he didnt want her thinking he like or anything just because he saved her.

Sierra nodded softly her head dropping back to the dirt and she closed her eyes again and a long sigh escaped her. "thank you... I know its not what you want to do Raum." she felt like a burden, and knew very much that she was. However she was very grateful he had came into the water after her.
Slowly the warmth of the sun becag to dry her and the warm seemed to soak into her limbs. She could feel them tinging as the suns rays washed down upon her. Strength slowly returning she held her head up and pushed herself to her feet, only to stumble and nearly fall over again.
Shaking she stood her ground until she felt her legs would do as they where told. She didnt like feeling this weak and exposed and she felt sick that raum had to see her this way. She bowed her head and quietly walked away from the water to lay in the full sun.

" don't mention it.." Raum triled off in his sentance before finishing it. " just be more careful." he had glanced over only to see her stumble and almost fall right over but she caught herself intime though he had made a small moment like he had been about to try adn catch her if she had not caught herself. though he masked that motion by moving into the sun then laying down. he cursed that caring sid ehe got from his mother that he hide by being hot headed and rude but it seemed Sierra got it out of him even if it was a little. " what a day....." was what he said more to himself than to Sierra as his mind went through the things that just happened.
