Tiffany continued to glared at him stupid stallion, making her think that perhaps she had finally found a servant that wouldn't run away when the Kalonas came. Oh no, she had just found herself another jerk. Of course, nothing he had done was quite jerkish. Just...single minded.
"Well maybe I wasn't intending on sending you signals" she said, getting quite upset. Stupid rain, it needed to stop, and it needed to stop now. She wasn't one to run away, but she just didn't want ot be stuck in such close quarters with him. Here he was, pretending it was no big deal. Of COURSE it was a big deal!
"You are SO not a gentleman. I mean..." she trailed off. He did have a point, stallions were probubly falling over themselves to be with her, in yet Guilian was the only one brave enough to make an attempt. "If you intend on being my mate, I will consider, but you need to work MUCH harder then that" she said, finally.
That was were Tiffany miscalculated. She was far to wrapped up in herself to understand some of the more under-wraps things in the world, such as seduction. She had no idea that a stallion would want such things on a temperary basis. Oh no, she thought they were always in it for the long run.
Either way, Tiffany would find it very unlady like to be seduced so easily. She had never had a sexual thought in her life, other then discounting others for it. Love didn't exist in her mind, having never experienced it. Mates were just ignorent soquili that got together and wanted to show off, saying others like them enough to hang out with them all the time. How stupid.

"Intended or no, the results are the same, Tiffany-Chica. And I seriously doubt you'd be able to find a stallion who didn't feel at least somewhat of a resonse at the thought of bathing with you." Unless said stallion was lighter in the hooves than most, of course. But even then, unless there was a pronounced deviation...
Ah, he amused himself so. Straightening up, he was in the proces of gently dusting off his side when her rather blunt 'declaration' caused him to look at the mare once again, the amusement much more pronounced this time. "So, you would consider my suit for matehood, were I to put more effort into it?"
Coming from her, he didn't doubt that was a compliment; coming to him, though...
Well, he'd have to put her straight. Still chuckling, he bowed at the mare in his graceful fashion, head nearly touching the ground as he did so. "My dear Tiffany-Chica, your words are sweet as ever, yet if it is a mate you are after, then perhaps we would be incompatible after all. I can offer you bliss, joy, euphoria, adoration of the most primal kind...but I can offer no mare such permanancy, and find the attempts of others to do so to be..." Pausing, he had to hunt around for the right word, but upon finding it chuckled again.
"Foolish, Chica. Couldn't you see yourself finding something better, or newer, or more intriguing? There is always something else out there, and to limit one's options needlessly is only asking for trouble. I live for the moment...and I don't doubt that we could have a beautiful moment together." Meaningful words, there, delivered with a heavy dose of his usual charm. Aye, he didn't doubt their moment would be beautiful...but there was always another moment waiting.
"Think of the possibilities, Tiffany-Chica; time ceasing to exist as you are loved as you deserve to be loved, then not having to worry about being tied down or committed permanently to someone you might not care for later on. All of the positives, yet no negatives to tie you down..."

Tiffany watched him, completely baffled. What in the WOLRD was this stallion going on about? He had quite the way with words, she could tell. But oh no, Tiffany was far to bright for such mind games. Her mind was like a wall, strong and inpenitrable. Perhaps a bit hollow, though.
"Well I think you are confused, because bathing is just a way to get clean and nice. Why would that make you feel a...resonce?" she asked, still unsure about what was going on. Did he want to be her mate or not? Certainly at the moment he wasn't trying hard enough.
"I supose. I don't know. Mates seem a bit useless, but I guess if you really want it..." she stopped. Ah, so he didn't want to be her mate? What was he talking about though? Adoration? Euphoria? What was he talking about? Mates just paraded eachother around and told everyone that they were better because they had a mate, right?
"I have no idea what you are talking about. If you don't want to be my mate then why are you acting so weird? Honestly, I knew you didn't have much in the brains, but you are clearly proving to be much more ignorant then I could have imagined" she said, unaware that he was insinuating a bit of playful love.
In Tiffany's mind, nobody would ever do something so scandalis. She was a Lady, and ladys minds were pure of such things. Or at least they pretended to be pure of such things, when in reality they were really just ignorant to such things. Have never had a friend for more than a day, she had never found the time to learn about all those sort of situations.

At the moment, ignorant was hardly something GUILIAN could be accused of, but he was too much of a gentleman to turn the tables. Besides, the hurling of insults was at best a childish pastime, and neither he nor Tiffany was a child. Far from it, as a matter of fact…but then, he already knew that. That WAS the reason that they were here, after all…Or at least the reason he was.
Disregarding her comment on bathing for the time being, he instead moved right to the question about mates. “Useless, Chica? On the contrary, for those that actually believe in such concepts, mates are the pinnacle of Soquili experience. They form family units for the purpose of always remaining together exclusively with one another, and, naturally, for the propagation of children. Usually, such pairings are prompted by the extreme mental bond that the two Soquili in question share, or so I’ve been told. It’s not my cup of tea, regardless, and why go to all that effort and make all that commitment when such is not necessary?”
Pulling away from the wall, he shifted so that he was facing Tiffany better, though still leaving some space between them. An amused smile played on Guilian’s lips as he listened to her speak, reading between the accusations and denials to pick out one crucial fact: she had no idea what a fling was, or possibly even what sex was!
Luckily for her, she happened to be in the company of a most informed and competent teacher. This time, as he began to speak he lowered his voice, adopting a huskier tone that better complimented the subject. If one was going to teach, well…it might as well be done well.
“Teach me, Tiffany-Chica, have you honestly never felt true desire? Never seen a stallion that made your heart skip a beat, never felt the urge to get close, to touch, to be touched? Have you ever felt goose bumps rise over your skin, felt as though you’d die if you didn’t get closer? I hope that you have, at least once, felt even the smallest stirrings of such feelings, for to live a life without desire is to live a life lacking in the most beautiful and wondrous pleasure ever.”
He’d shifted slightly as he spoke, slowly and subtly closing the space between the two of them; however, if she so chose Tiffany still had ample space to move away. “Mare and stallion were created to compliment each other physically, and such desire is the ultimate expression of this divine plan. A beautiful, beautiful expression of such…”
Was she really devoid of desire? What a terrible existence that would be!

Tiffany watched Guilian, he seemed to think he was superior to her, or something. What was his problum, trying to shove all this crap down her throat? Certainly Tiffany knew everything there was to learn! Sure, growing up alone, she had to figure it all out. But really, what could she have possibly missed?
"I disagree. I don't want foals, they are annoying and would make me look fat. Plus, the little brats are so selfish. I want this, I want that, the only reason I would want THEM is to teach them to serve me. Seriously, how annoying they would be. And then get older and leave me, having gotten fat and ugly for them just to EXIST. Honestly, the whole children thing seems way over rated" said Tiffany, seemingly immune to the maternal instincts most mares were full of. No, she had enough ego to mask it.
If he didn't want to be her mate, why did he say it was so great? And then say he didn't want it? What a wishy-washy stallion, he must be very confused. Well, he wouldn't get her anyway. Tiffany never planned on mating, unless perhaps some worthy stallion begged it of her. Then MAYBE. Or maybe when she was old, because not spreading her wonderful genes would be a sin to society.
The mare listened to his words, thinking. Had she ever felt desire? Had she ever looked at a stallion and thought anything other then 'wow, his mane is TOTALLY tragic?'
"No, I don't think I have. Everyone is just so inferior, why would I waste my time with that? I mean, all I ever thing when I see anyone is about their flaws, because absolutly everyone is horridly flawed. Exept me of course" she said, laughing "So why waste my time with inperfection? If I were ever to do such weird things you speak of, it would have to be with perfection. And perfection does not exist exept in me. So I guess it's impossible" she said, finishing.
One might think it would be sad for her, never being able to have someone meet her standards for love. But to Tiffany, it wasn't a problum at all. In fact, it was a bit of a luxury, not ever worrying about the opposite sex, they were just other soquili, no different. Exept that some of them were a bit extra annoying and a bit more likely to hurt her, because mares seemed to have the sense to back down and realize how ugly and inferior they were.
The mare moved backwards. "Back off, will you?" she said, bluntly. She wasn't going to let this stupid stallion try anything funny on her. Those big fancy words did nothing for her, and just confused her for the most part. Divine plan? What in the world was he talking about?

How profoundly sad. She was so lovely, yet knowingly denied herself the truest use of that beauty. Tragedy dogged everyone, however, and Guilian could suppose that not being aware of what was wrong was better than feeling acutely every aspect of one's problems.
That didn't mean that he couldn't feel pity for her, though. Shaking his head, he gave her a charming smile. "So lovely, yet so very, very stupid. Perhaps one day you will come to realize the irrationality of your ways, Chica, and perhaps then you will also learn what it is you have been missing."
With that, he gave Tiffany a sad smile, then turned and eyed the storm outside. It was still quite the downpour...but he knew he couldn't maintain this proximity anymore. She was lovely, aye, but determined to deny herself and him by association which would only lead to frustration. He knew where the roses grew; he could always get more.
"It has been most interesting to meet you, Chica; perhaps one day we shall meet again under more fortuitous circumstances." Giving the mare a slight bow of farewell, he then turned and strode out into the rain, rapidly swallowed up by the cascading gray of the rain and sky.

Tiffany glared. Did he just call her STUPID? She was clearly the most intelligent mare ever to walk this earth, she must be, because she had the whole package. Beauty, brains, and of course, a sparkling personality like no other could possibly have.
"Don't you ever call me stupid again, you ugly little twit!" she called into the rain, but it was no use. He probubly didn't hear hear, because of the roaring of the rain.
"Stupid, annoying stallion. Thinking he is so much smarter...stupid jerk..." she mumbled, standing in the cave, once again alone, but quite content with keeping herself company.
